We're from Toledo and both my boyfriend and I agreed we would come back to Detroit just for this spot! Great people and even better food. The place is so cute inside as well. Will definitely be back!

I was visiting a friend and we decided to try Toastique. such a cute little spot! They offer pressed fresh juices, coffee, and a wide variety of toasts, many of which you can also order as bowls. The service was friendly and helpful, especially when I had a few questions. The only thing I personally didn't love was the "plate" the toast is served on...a cutting board with no edges. While it's great for photos and definitely adds to the aesthetic, it's not the most practical for actually eating. The toast is generously topped with lots of ingredients, so while it's delicious, it can get a little messy. I'd probably save it for a second date rather than a first . The pressed juice, though, was fantastic so good that I'm already trying to plan a trip back just to get more!

Made my way over to have an opportunity to experience Toastique without the crowd. The staff were AMAZING and I was greeted promptly upon entry. The space is clean and inviting. I decided to dine-in. I ordered the 3 Cheese Italian Toast on Sourdough minus the Arugula and a Superfruit smoothie. Both items were made fresh, filling and very flavorful.

This place is awesome and cozy. I typically visit early morning so it's not that crowded. It's on the expensive side about $15 for the toast variations. However it is tasty and surprisingly filling. The staff is pretty cool and the inside always looks so clean. A 4/5 strictly because it's pricey for what is offered: toast, juice, smoothies, açaí bowls.

Food was delicious - I am THRILLED there is finally a clean eating healthy spot in downtown Detroit that also has perfect flavors! Had the smoked salmon with poached egg and spicy crab toasts and they were both so beautifully plated and every bite exploded with flavor. Absolutely can't wait to come back!

Great food and great service. Was lucky to stumble upon this gem that just opened in Detroit. Very clean interior with appropriate downtown Detroit artwork.

Amazing food and amazing service. The staff is super attentive and the toast is perfect. The cold pressed juices are great as well. 10/10 recommend the smoked salmon toast and the Defender juice. Great location too, right across from Campus Martius downtown Detroit.

Great friendly staff! Really appreciated the samples of the fresh juices before making a decision. The salmon gourmet toast was outstanding and delicious in addition to the seasonal juice. Would highly recommend!!!

Super hot so it took a bit to cool, but then a strong roast. While the laws of thermodynamics were underway, I was able to watch the flow of customers, observe the "Javabot" that sadly no one used this morning and watch the Detroit traffic circling around Campus Martius. Other than I was not able to get their wifi to work (Detroit has a free wifi as well), it was a good resting spot with quiet background music and it never did get any other sit down customers while I dawdled. Located in a cool, older building in historic downtown Detroit. The location is great, near the town square, Campus Martius. Comfy seating options available but it feels like more of a carry out place. It felt like a narrow space to me because there is a large coffee display in the middle. It looks really cool but makes the space feel smaller to me. I'll definitely stop by and get more coffees to go.

I was here just after they opened (at 6 am!) and enjoyed morning coffee and wifi before heading to the office. I love a coffee shop that has a cortado on the menu. Or a Gibraltar. This tells me that the barista isn't some button pusher but instead of a craft coffee barista who actually has some training. I'm talking to you, Green Siren people. The barista this morning assembled a perfect cortado for me. Half espresso and half steamed (not foamed) milk in a short glass. I love the cortado because it's the same amount of coffee as a big latte but now I won't need to hit the restroom all morning! It was fabulous, delivered to my table as I wrote my morning's Yelp reviews. Dessert Oasis is a little grunge, a little industrial, a little coffee shop. It's not fancy but they have lovely wooden tables, comfortable seating, quiet music and power outlets. If I wasn't heading into the office, I could spend all day sitting here and OD'ing on great coffee. [Review 869 of 2025 - 434 in Michigan - 24426 overall]

From their cakes and cookies, to their parfaits and macaroons, everything just hits. On a most recent visit, I tried their biscoff parfait and it was a show stopper. It was hard for me to enjoy my Matilda chocolate cake (though I managed) knowing that I had more biscoff parfait to eat. They do coffee and other assorted beverages as well, but those are just support for the real stars of the show here, their desserts. I cannot say one bad thing I have had here (though a friend of mine says their cinnamon rolls were underwhelming). OVERALL - a great ending to an evening, or a destination unto itself. Get some, now! The cake looked great and had the graham (I might have imagined it), marshmallow, and chocolate flavor elements in each bite, but it ran a bit dry and sweeter than I prefer. I'm in the "less sugar is more" minority, so most people might be fine with it. I guess I should have expected it given the name. The iced matcha latte used decent matcha and tasted light and pleasant, no grit. Inside, it is all pastels and cake themed accents, with the general vibe of "yeah, there are macarons here." The real plus is being near Little Caesars Arena in the newer development area, which makes it convenient for grabbing a treat and a drink while downtown.
