My first time here. Easy parking in front. Very happy environment inside. Staff is great. I ordered online and also placed an order for more when I was there. We got a milk shake, 6 oatmeal sandwich cookies dipped in chocolate, 2 regular and 2 brookies I believe they are called. Half brownie half cookie suffered with wonderful marshmallow cream. I got stuff for my elderly neighbors and to take home to family. Everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Live the staff. Will most definitely go back. Wish I would have took pics but did not last long enough. read more

Such a great place to enjoy a little nostalgic treat. I got the Nutella cupcake and oreo s'mores with cookies instead of graham crackers. Service was wonderful. They asked if we had been there before and then continued explaining their menu and selection of treats they offered. So cool they make the s'more right in front of you! Finally was in this part of town to check out this locally owned place! Took a bunch of kids and they loved the Gooofy Goober Shake. I loved the dark chocolate smore. We also enjoyed a cupcake. The shakes took a while to make because it was busy and they are each made to look super cute. Worth the wait. I thought the prices were right on the mark for rhe wuality and size. I really wanted to love this place as I've seen their TikTok page and heard they are struggling to stay open. However, I can understand why. The cupcakes were incredibly dry, and the frosting was way too sweet. It was like eating sweet sandpaper. Also, they were very overpriced for the quality. Haven't been back in awhile and came right near opening hours. Still the same fun shop with lovely employees and amazing high quality made products. Only difference is that they now have a selection of cupcakes! I didnt get a cupcake, but I did get the cotton candy mallow pie and it brings me back to childhood! read more

I found Toasted Mallow on Instagram prior to moving to Arizona, once we traveled through the Gilbert area - I knew where we had to stop for a sweet treat! Although everything has marshmallow, the desserts are varied in taste, some were sweeter than others. I had the Cookie Monster milkshake and it was delicious! We also bought marshmallows of various flavors to take home and try and I couldn't get enough of the circus cookie variety! The only downside (unsure if related to COVID-19) was the lack of bathroom available to wash hands, we did go a few months ago so I am also not sure if that is still the case or if they have a better option available now. read more

What's there not to like about Toasted Mallow? I don't know how I haven't reviewed them, when I've been coming here for a few years now. They are gimme some more beverage is delicious and you can't go wrong with anything marshmallow. They have all types of marshmallow indulgences, including s'mores. I just tried one of their cupcakes which had marshmallow fluff on the inside, and it was delicious. It reminded me of a homemade hostess cupcake, but even better! If you're in the area, this is a must try! I love that it's warm and inviting and they greet you as you walk in. Highly recommend! read more

We had never been here before, but I wanted to try it badly since I follow them on social. Their account is super fun! When we were first walking in, we were immediately greeted. The guy and gal working were so incredibly helpful and friendly. They asked us if we'd ever been in before, and we said no so they walked us through everything. My kids opted for shakes because well... Shakes! The marshmallows that were on top of the shakes were the very best marshmallows all of us have ever had! There's probably enough sugar in one of those shakes to be given to an entire tribe of children! My kids were bouncing off the walls! We purchased a lot of goodies to take home with us as well since we live 30 minutes away. I cannot wait to go back and get one of their custom made s'more's. read more

Been to this place twice. I would go much more if I could afford the calories in my diet. The marshmallows in packages are great.. the oatmeal cream pie is to die for. The brownie cookie pie was good. The owner cares about her customers and ensured that I was given the freshest product out of the back when I got my order. She is overall just a lovely person and happy when she sees each customer come in. You can tell it brings her joy to see others enjoying her products. Everything is amazing and I am sure you can't go wrong with anything you choose. But yeah. Get the oatmeal cream pie. I have not had a cupcake yet but I'm sure they are wonderful. read more

These pictures are from our first visit. We have now been many many times & I recommend "the marshmallow place" all the time. Whether it's the perfect cap stone to date night, a swap up from the usual coffee date with my bestie, or my son's birthday treat Toasted Mallow doesn't disappoint. The marshmallow creations are creative & fun & so so tasty. The merch also shouldn't be ignored. The stickers are always a hit with my kids for their band instrument cases & the tubs of marshmallow fluff end up in my husband's stocking every year now. read more

Toasted Mallow has been on my to try list for awhile now and I finally made my way there. I am not even a marshmallow person, but I knew I to try them! When I walked in I knew I was in the right place! I wanted to sample a few things, so I picked up a cookies and cream marshmallow pop, Toasted Mallow Salted Caramel Gourmet S'mores, Salted Caramel Mallow Pie, Unicorn Mallow Pie and 2 chocolate dipped Homemade Oatmeal stuffed cookies. OMG those homemade oatmeal cookies were everything! They are like a grown up lil debbies (which are my fav LOL) I had bought 2 with the intent to share and after I did share it, I was sad because mine was all gone haha. Everything bought was loved! Glad to have stopped by Toasted Mallow and I know I will be back for more of those oatmeal cookies. read more

Toasted Mallow dessert shop has reinvented an american classic, the marshmallow! We specialize in giving you the BIGGEST and FLUFFIEST best tasting gourmet marshmallows around. Our Dessert Shop has a full S'mores Bar where you choose a s'mores off the menu and we build and toast it right there on the spot, packaged flavored marshmallows, marshmallow pops, freshly made cupcakes and delicious milkshakes using blue bell ice cream!

History

Established in 2013.

We started making our gourmet marshmallows from a home kitchen for friends and family. Soon our marshmallows were in demand so in August 2013 we ran a successful Kickstarter campaign (online fundraising website) and doubled our goal! This gave us the funds we needed to start an online store, stat shipping across the USA and reach our local community at various farmers markets in Arizona. After a few months, local news and magazines started publishing our gourmet marshmallows and pretty soon we had to find a location. We are now operating a small location in Gilbert AZ and hope to expand in the near future. We still offer our marshmallows online for shipping but now we also offer America's 1st and only operating S'mores Bar and shop fully dedicated to everybody's favorite treat, the marshmallow!

Meet the Business Owner: Tricia A.

Tricia has always loved local small owned coffee and bakery shops. Growing up in Albuquerque, New Mexico she frequented a local shop that offered a bounty of sweets with a great cup of joe. Customers lined up and hung out to read, do homework, socialize or just people watch (this was before the internet!) She has always held on to the warm and positive feelings of that local coffee shop and hoped one day she could create her own. Fast forward 15 years, Tricia was challenged by a friendly work competition at her full-time job to create a homemade treat made of marshmallows. Instead of buying marshmallows from the store, she researched how to make a homemade marshmallow. Her attempt although not the prettiest, did win her the competition and started a love affair for these fluffy treats! Tricia's has truly perfected her marshmallow recipe and the business has grown quickly. On August 8, 2014 and Tricia and her wife, Hazel Arce opened the first Marshmallow Cafe in the USA.

Given how meaningful the wedding cake is as both a focal point and photo moment, this was really disappointing for us. I went in to the store (about 10 minutes after closing, which I had no idea until later), explained the situation to the very kind and empathetic worker, and she found a vanilla cake in the back that was exactly perfect.
