She ordered the coconut almond crunch brownie, oatmeal chocolate chip, lemon raspberry cookie, salted Carmel cookie, crinkle cookie, & the peanut butter Nutella cookie. I tried a bite of the brownie & the crinkle cookie. Both were good. The crinkle cookie was perfect! The cookies aren't too sweet or too rich. Great selection of cookies and great service. This is more of a grab and go type of store with not much seating space inside and no patio seating. We chose some classic sugar cookies and they were huge, delicious and fairly priced. The one thing I did notice was that they felt alittle too moist from possibly being refrigerated a while, but my kids still ate them up and ask to go back often! When my husband brought home the frosted sugar cookie with a lime on the top, I was like, "What?" I'm a lime fan for desserts, so he thought I would especially like this one in the pack he purchased. I squeezed the lime on the top of the frosting and then took a bite, it was kinda a dense cookie and not a big chilled cookie connoisseur. I personally prefer them warm out of the oven or at least room temp! The service for a Saturday night was not bad, not great, but I don't care too much about that, even though there was a group of teenagers that couldn't decide and that caused a delay with our "to go" order. Decided on their 6 pack. They seemed to be at bit smaller than the other popular cookie spot, but are cheaper than them too! Hadn't gotten anything other than the cookies, but they do offer soda drinks such as unique ice cream floats, delicious dreamsicles blends & many other refreshers. Another great twist they have are; low-carb, gluten-free or sugar-free options as well. My husband enjoyed the peanut butter/nutella cookie. Our boys sampled them all. They thought they were just average. That said, the left overs we ordered (didn't eat last night) didn't look as appealing in the AM as so much grease filled the lined inside of the box. The drinks and cookies from here so far are fantastic! They have a really cool concept for a menu and great prices as well ! They have a huge variety of sodas and flavor add ins you can choose from I got the Shirley Temple and I thought it was perfect ! The cookies were great I got a lemon sugar cookie and a banana cream cookie I can't tell you which one I liked better they're both very good and also they weren't too sweet and perfectly balanced which I LOVE so yay, and the sugar Cookie itself was nicely cooked and fell apart in the mouth , went really lovely with the toppings! I saw the sign for Twisted Sugar while driving by and couldn't help myself. I stopped in and was immediately greeted by the staff. She was as sweet as their treats! The space is simple and ideal for takeout, though there are a few tables and seats if you decide to hang for a bit. Twisted Sugar had 20 different cookies to choose from at the time of my visit. It was a bit overwhelming because they all looked delectable. They also add a new cookie for the month. I think their fun and unique flavors set them apart from the competition. The helpful staff member answered all of my questions and helped me decide on three. I went with the Rolo crinkle, Twisted Sugar, and chocolate chip. The Twisted Sugar has coconut icing and lime. It's their take on a key lime pie and it tasted just like one! The Rolo crinkle and classic chocolate chip cookies were also delicious. This place is so good! I don't drink soda but the cream you can add makes the sodas delicious!!! The cookies are smaller then crumbl but just as good. It is cheaper then other cookie places! And they have ice cream! Inside is pretty basic, but open. Not a ton of seating but most people take theirs to go. The workers are always so sweet! read more

We came into the store around 2 PM on Saturday and were greeted by the very strong smell of cleaning products. No worries, we were getting it to go so we grabbed our 4 cookies and went on our way. The BAD: When I took the first bite 20 minutes later, I thought I tasted a chemical cleaning product but I doubted myself until the 2nd bite. I asked my wife to check her cookie and the same experience. We actually had to Google if it was possible for baked goods to absorb cleaning product smells and tastes and it is! An hour later when I went to throw the rest away I opened the box and the cleaning product smell was still there waiting. The good: The staff was polite and provided quick service. Ironically enough the cookies were actually pretty good after the first couple chews because the sweet flavors overwhelmed the cleaning taste lol Bottom line: Something went terribly wrong with the cleaning process at this store. Did the trays of prepared cookies get overspray? Was the refrigerator where the cookies get stored recently deep cleaned? Either way, I wouldn't want to take the chance. We are just out $13 for cookies so I guess I don't have that much to complain about. But under the circumstances I really can't give any more than two stars, and that's being generous read more

I don't usually eat or like cookies but...Hung out with the guy and stopped here since I've been wanting to for a while. Glad that we did stop, as the staff were nice and friendly. I assumed that the cookies would cost more but they are reasonable! The store is cute. The service was fast! There's plenty of parking and is easy to find. We got the oatmeal and chocolate oatmeal cookies and they are really good and tasted freshly baked. I didn't see any chocolate chip and didn't ask since these looked good in the display. I live walking distance from here and never had any issues when coming here. The Cookies are on par of what you would think of any cookie place. They aren't huge and super rich where after 1 bite, you're down and out like some other places. But they're sized great and still decadent in flavor. Their cookie variety is decent and they have rotating flavors. I'm not a big cookie person, but I have no complaints from this location and it's super close to me. Ordering online is a piece of cake. So Hard to Choose Stopped in to pick up a treat and it was hard to choose a cookie, everything looked amazing. The service was quick and the staff was friendly, and was helpful explaining the cookie options as there are so many choices not only with cookies but drinks too. My favorites were the lemon raspberry, smores, and banana cream. These cookies are very soft, super fresh and very flavorful.  The menu offers a varied selection with reasonably pricing. Shakes are $4.50 and cookies are $2.75. You can make your own fountain drink flavor and those prices vary depending on size. Great place with delicious cookies and friendly staff. read more

I've had some good cookies in the past. Today I was given a rock hard frozen oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with frosting on top. The cookie tasted a little like freezer burn. This place is always hit or miss. Placed an online order and when i walked in there was a huge line. No one bothered to acknowledge. When i finally got ahold of someone they said they never even saw the online order that was supposed to be picked up 15 minutes ago. The most amazing peanut butter cookie I've ever had, it's such a cute place bring your kids.

We love this location! The only downside is the parking lot is always super full, which can make it hard to get out sometimes. But the cookies are always delicious and the place is clean and the staff are friendly. Our favorites recently are the Twisted Sugar cookies and the Banana Cream Pie cookies. Their gluten free cookies are great if you need that type of thing! You can choose whatever frosting flavor on a gluten free base. They also have a wide selection of specialty soda drink and you can't go wrong there either. read more

Funny thing about this place... First time here, all I could think was "it's no Crumbl"... but slowly and surely this is like the girl next door that suddenly becomes hot. Twisted sugar just got better and better with time and the fact it's walking distance for the bear and I makes it incredibly sexy for a late night "cookie call"! The ladies are usually quite pleasant. I'm not certain if they're high school students, but they often seem awkward. I believe that being known can lead to better treatment, friendliness, or a sense of welcome. I understand that everyone has biases. For instance, I waited eight minutes for just two cookies. When using Apple Pay, the time of purchase is displayed. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I only visit Twisted Sugar once a month or every other month, despite living just a three-minute walk away. It was 8:40 p.m., and I hope I didn't make them feel uncomfortable buying a cookie. I hope I didn't give off any negative impressions; I haven't been in Twisted Sugar this year yet, so coming in 20min to close probably wasn't the best time. read more

Sugar shops are a magical place. I was so excited to see the Now Open sign, and couldn't resist swinging by to grab a couple cookies for the family. In a world where there are so many different designer cookie options (I'm not complaining), these had their own personality to them. I like the light dough and creative flavor toppings. What's especially neat about Twister Sugar is the array of soda concoctions. Been here twice. I was greeted by friendly staff. However, both times I have been here I was hit with a strong chemical smell. I got the coconut sugar cookie Togo and took a bite and it had the same chemical smell and taste!! I spit it out immediately. Very freaky. Not sure what they are using. The employees at this location need to have more customer service training. Not one employee came up to the front counter to take an order for quite some time. They never apologized for the delay in service. I started placing my order by asking for a pack of 4 cookies and I was immediately just told what the total was. This was a total turnoff as we indeed wanted to order more but it seemed we were an inconvenience to the girls working and was just rushed to pay. While we were waiting for our order two girls walked in and were immediately greeted by a team member who customers and myself quickly recognized were friends. The team member and the two girls talked at the register for quite some time and were even handed their cookies at the register. They still remained talking to one another with no awareness that another customer was waiting behind them for several minutes even the team member talking about how sweaty she was and showing the girls the front of her shirt. Lastly, customers that ordered after me were getting their drinks and cookies before I ever did so, I walked closer to the counter and waited even more time. Finally the same girl that took my order said what are you waiting on? I was in shock because not only did the girl that's asking take my order at the register but I only ordered cookies so that would be the only thing I'm waiting on. I have had twisted sugar delivered several times but this was quite upsetting to see that this is the behavior and customer service you get when you go in person to the store. Placed an order here on Friday in part to celebrate October birthdays. Online ordering was the way to go - quick and easy. When we went to pick up they were super busy so I was glad not to have to wait in that line. Cookies were very tasty. I prefer a more well done cookie so I'm better off selecting a cookie that's more like cake so I chose the pumpkin cookie with cream cheese floating. Lots of pumpkin flavor throughout. We sampled the lemon and lemon combo cookies, chocolate chip and a cinnamon sugar. Everyone enjoyed their selection. We need to go back and sample some of the drinks. Twisted Simple! Took my family to Twisted Sugar after eating Backyard Tacos. It's less than 50 yards away. We got three cookies: Lemon Raspberry, Crinkle, and the chocolate cookies. My wife really liked the Crinkle and chocolate cookies and the same basic cookies. Crinkle has powdered sugar on it. I had the Lemon Raspberry and it's a mostly good cookie. But, the raspberry is just syrup on the top. So, it's a sugar cookie with lemon icing and some raspberry syrup. I think most folks will like it. But I think it's twisted simple. They need to put some lemon and raspberries IN THE COOKIE! Come on Twisted Sugar, stop being twisted simple. Work in your recipes and give us some great cookies not flavored icing on a sugar cookie. As deserts go Twisted Sugar will do and when I return to Backyard Tacos I'll try some more cookie flavors but I'll be looking for a cookie that's not just a sugar cookie with icing. I LOOOOOVE this place!! I'm a huge fan of softer, more doughy cookies, which is definitely what their cookies are. I've got a serious sweet tooth so I like my cookies sweet too My top favorites have been the Sprinkles Sugar Cookie, Sugardoodle Cookie, and the Salted Caramel Sugar Cookie, but I also really like the Banana Cream, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip with Cookie Butter, Lemon Raspberry Sugar Cookie, and the Peanut Butter Cookie. I've tried almost all of them at this point, but the only cookie I didn't like was their chocolate chip (it tasted too much like flour). I also love the whole "build your own soda" thing.
