I LOOOOOVE this place!! I'm a huge fan of softer, more doughy cookies, which is definitely what their cookies are. I've got a serious sweet tooth so I like my cookies sweet too My top favorites have been the Sprinkles Sugar Cookie, Sugardoodle Cookie, and the Salted Caramel Sugar Cookie, but I also really like the Banana Cream, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip with Cookie Butter, Lemon Raspberry Sugar Cookie, and the Peanut Butter Cookie. I've tried almost all of them at this point, but the only cookie I didn't like was their chocolate chip (it tasted too much like flour). I also love the whole "build your own soda" thing. I decided to get a drink from here only to be greeted (i use that term GENEROUSLY) by a snarky teenage girl and waited well over 20 minutes to walk out without my drink (or water btw). Another girl working told a customer she was "just too busy" to take their order. I have wasted my time, money, and gas on a place I no longer plan on putting anymore money into. I'd never been to Twisted Sugar before, but when I saw the name I had to figure out what it was. Cookies! Very much like Crumbl (if you've been there before) except the box is nicer, and the cookies are not quite as big and also not quite as expensive. As with Crumbl cookies, we divvied them up like little pies, each eating slices of each of the cookies. Everything is super tasty, and their selection is even bigger than Crumbl's, too. This place was one of my favorites for gluten free cookies until recently when I ordered gluten free cookies and they gave me cookies that were not gluten free. I have celiac disease and thankfully I noticed the mistake before eating anything otherwise I would have been sent to the hospital. I called the store to relay this mistake and advise them to be more careful and the "manager" of this location proceeded to argue with me about why I have a medical need to be gluten free. I then spoke to the owner of Twisted Sugar about this terrible customer service and she then told me to go to Crumbl instead! What a joke!!! I will never be returning here ever again and I advise everyone else to do the same. What bad business to argue with a customer about a medical need rather than just apologizing and making the mistake right! That owner and this business do not deserve anyone's money. read more

This cookie treasure treat has all the other cookie places beat! I found out about Twisted Sugar one night when I was looking for something sweet to eat to be delivered. Both Uber Eats and DoorDash deliver Twisted Sugar. While scrolling through the many choices, I ended up ordering like eight cookies because I just couldn't decide. Yes, I shared my cookies because sharing is caring, right?! Everyone loved the cookies. Now, I'm not a lemon person. I can't stand lemon desserts. I think they taste gross. The only thing lemon I like is lemonade... until now. Twisted Sugar has this cookie called Lemon Tart Sugar. It's a soft sugar cookie with lemon frosting, tart lemon powder, and a fresh lime wedge. It's probably one of my top six favorites. Yes, top six as all of their cookies taste so amazing that it's that hard to choose a favorite. Their Peanut Butter Nutella is crazy delish too however, if you need that chocolate fix, their Crinkle cookie will take care of that. It's a fudgy cookie dusted with powder sugar. And, for those with a gluten intolerance, just know their gluten free cookies don't taste gluten free either. You wouldn't know you were eating a GF cookie unless they told you. I tried one just to see if there was a taste or texture difference. My taste buds said there wasn't. Twisted Sugar is the new treasure treat in town and having been opened only four months, they've already put those other cookie places to shame. How? They have a great location that's easily accessible in the Gilbert community, an impressive selection to choose from whether you or gluten intolerant or not, their prices are lower than those other cookie places, the staff are very friendly, and if you don't have the time or ability to go pick up the cookies yourself, you can have them delivered. Show yourself the love you deserve, get yourself some Twisted Sugar cookies. Your stomach will thank you later! The soda drinks are amazing too... we got a few different ones and they were all fantastic! My son loved the sprite fashionista and my daughter loved the coconut one with peach! The first time my husband and I came here, the cookies were okay. Immensely sugary, which I get it, it's a cookie, it's sugar. But my husband about chipped a tooth biting into his cookie, it was FROZEN SOLID!! We looked at each other, laughed and wondered if we are supposed to bake it at home. We asked someone and she was like, "No, we just transferred the cookies." And a couple moments of awkard silence, we asked if we could get a different one. She ran in the back and got us another one. I don't want to be overzealous but I think their chocolate chip oatmeal cookie was made in Mrs. clause basement. They should call it Cookie crack. These guys have an impressive array of delicious drinks and sweet treats. The cookies are great, and they offer some interesting seasonal choices. Glad they're in my neighborhood. The only drawback is that for some reason, it takes a really long time to get anything, even when it's not busy. I don't think I've spent less than 15-20 minutes minutes in there, even when waiting for one cookie. Sometimes it's a lot longer. We can't figure it out, because they're pre-made, so you'd think you could pop in a grab a quick cookie, but it's a process. Maybe they're doing online order first or something? I think the process (whatever that is) needs to be overhauled. If you have the time and patience, give them a try. read more

I very much enjoy the sodas, and the "Twisted Sugar" cookie is among my favorites. I go here at least once every couple of weeks. However, for a long time they've charged higher prices (specifically for the basic cookies) than the menu reflects for the cookie. I've definitely been overcharged for a few cookies worth! I arrived to pick up and I was told my order was not ready and they ran out of several cookies. While I understand inventories run out, the method of fulfilling paid orders and lack of professionalism toward customers was disappointing. The young lady with reddish, pink hair was very rude to me and the customers behind me. She tossed her phone down, and hastily put my reorder together, and pushing the boxes toward me, with no words. My daughter and I went to Twisted Sugar for the first time. We walked in and it was pretty packed because it was the day before Valentine's Day. I was immediately uncomfortable because there were a bunch of people without masks. I couldn't even get close enough to read the menu off of the wall because of all of the people without masks. I told the cashier I needed a paper menu to read and she said they didn't have any. I told her I felt uncomfortable about people not wearing masks and she just looked at me helplessly. I ordered generic cookies... sugar and peanut butter (which were okay). I will not be returning any time soon. They do not require masks, there is no way to social distance, and they did not limit the amount of people in the store. read more

I've always loved going to twisted sugar, it's my favorite drink place! But tonight I went and the service was just weird and awful. We walked into the place and three employees were loudly laughing and screaming to each other. They did not calm down once we approached the counter. It was almost like my friend and I were interrupting their fun. Then, the male employee kept rudely interrupting and telling jokes to the girl trying to take my order. To the point where I almost had to tell him to stop so she could hear me give my order. He kept screeching this super loud screech! It was so strange! My friend and I were appalled and embarrassed for him. Normally, I'm tolerant of young workers because I know they're learning, but he was incessant and it was earsplitting! I almost walked out before I got my order. It was unbearable. All the employees kept laughing and joking together as though they were in on some joke that we were the butt of and it was very awkward for us, the customers. I definitely recommend more customer service training for the employees that were working there tonight around 6:45 pm. My fav dessert place! They have so many options of what to get and everything I've tried there has been AMAZING! My fav thing to get is the oatmeal cookie butter or the crinkle cookie! The cookies are literally the best that I've ever had! Other cookie places are slacking compared to Twisted Sugar. I've tried a ton of their sodas and they ALWAYS slay! My go to is the Zuko- Dr Pepper with raspberry syrup, fresh lime, and cream! I will forever be a die hard Twisted Sugar fan! No other dessert shops even compare. I wanted to like this place, but first impressions can be killer. I walked in with one other patron sitting down. One worker was behind the counter and clearly concentrating far too hard to even glance my way, let alone a simple 'Hi, Welcome '. The place is sugary in concept, you'd think the staff would be as well. After waiting a weird amount of time for being the only person waiting for service, and just short of leaving, the gal simply asked what I'd like. No suggestions, no sorry for the wait, no friendly smile. This being my first time in, I opted for their name sake, the Twisted Sugar cookie, convinced it was their classic for a reason. If you absolutely love raw flour, this is your cookie! I'm not even sure about the icing, as I couldn't get past the overwhelming flour attack in my mouth. I want to try so many other options, but this base cookie seems to be what you'll get on most options, so not sure just the topping will convince me to give it another go. When your opting for your next cooking binge, you're better off at Sodalicious or Crumbl. Or save yourself the lack luster customer service experience, and just buy the pink frosted cookies at your local grocery store. read more
