A recent stop at Toast in Temecula yielded a delicious breakfast. Our server was delightful as we were one of the first customers when they opened. The menu offerings are a good size, as they highlight beverages (see caffeine and cocktails menu on the wall too!) griddles, benedicts, and "other stuff" such as sandwiches, salads, and even poke bowl. The creme brulee French toast was a treat! If not for breakfast, this is equally a dessert. The French toast was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The creme was rich. The sugar disk was too thick and served more as a decorative element than anything. Had it been thinner or served differently, it would make a perfect crunch element to the brulee theme. Nonetheless, it was delicious as served. BYO omelette was a good size and not overly done; the side of potatoes (extra well done) with a sprinkle of parmesean was excellent. Don't forget to ask for Tapatio :) Cinnamon maple toast latte (w/ oatmilk) and Americano (iced w/ oatmilk) were both wonderful. On a separate visit, the Four Leaf coffee on nitro cold brew was subtle, nothing too jolting. My only grumble at this particular location from a recent visit is it is freeeezing inside in the morning. It's winter right now, where is the heat?! read more

Such a Gem!!! First off, servers y'all were great. From the minute we asked for a table to the time we left, all staff we interacted with were super friendly, helpful, offered great suggestions, overall fantastic. We were a group of 5 friends that arrived for brunch at 1:30 and were able to be seated within 10-15 min. We ordered 2 of the giant mimosas (totally worth it). The watermelon juice with champagne... I highly recommend. My friends ordered the Chilaquiles, Strawberry Cheese Cake Pancakes, Berries and Cream Crepes and I had the Avocado Toast. Everything was delicious!!! Those Berries and Cream Crepes were absolutely divine!! Sweet but not overly sweet (skip adding the syrup), light and had nice texture. I highly recommend those. Wow What a Great Breakfast. We were in town 4 mornings with friends and went to Toast two times. Such creative offerings. Even flights of Mimosas. Did not try those but the food was outstanding and the service impeccable on both visits. Absolutely loved the Avocado Toast with a fried egg on top. I have had lots of avocado toast at places and this is the best. The Greens & Granola was huge and provided a great mix of fruit, vegetables and even mini pancakes. It was one of the most creative healthy breakfast offerings I have ever experienced. The benedicts are outstanding (based on others in our group), as are the omelets, and the pancakes are wonderful. In other words, they did not miss on any item. Don't be fooled by this just being in a strip mall, it is really top-quality breakfast. Toast's food was pretty good. We ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was delicious and the berry crepes, which were not too sweet(a good thing!) The ambiance was very cute. The service was good as well. We sat out on the patio which was perfect in the morning when it was not too hot. Our only complaint was that we could not finish our meal due to about all the staff trying to find a dead animal in the bushes at the restaurant. They made it obvious and kept talking about this animal and the smell. Oh wow I was so please to visit here once in Temecula and then a few days later In Murrietta. Both places were wonderful. Murrietta had a great spot for our dog outside. Absolutely loved their food portions and the food was good! They offered good food choices and the prices weren't too bad either. We will come back for sure! Came here last week with a very large group after my wedding rehearsal!! We called ahead and luckily they were able to seat us relatively close to each other!! The outdoor space is covered by heated lamps which was super helpful due to it being a bit chilly that day!! We found out that you can order french toast and crepes ala carte so if you're not sure which flavor you're thinking of going with (apple vs tiramisu vs. etc.) you can order a variety of each. The service was bar none. My father in law ordered eggs your way with sausage. The sausage came out and he thought it tasted a bit spicy. He told the waitress that the sausage was a bit spicier than he expected and they offered and insisted he get another meat with his order free of charge. Toast is SO good. Probably the best breakfast/brunch spot in the area. There's two separate locations: one off temecula parkway, and the other in Murrieta. The temecula parkway location is TINY. Limited outdoor seating, and elbow to elbow seating. It's also incredibly hard to get in on the weekends, since everyone know this place is the jam. Service regardless of the location always seems to be on point. The ambiance at the Murrieta location is better than the temecula parkway just due to sheer size. The standard coffee comes with a confetti biscotti, and their coffee menu in general is fairly eclectic. Don't forget their festive cocktails too. The bloody mary could definitely be a meal in and of itself. Our favorites to eat here are: Nashville hot chicken sandwich, Korean short ribs, Rueben sandwich, and the steak and eggs. YUM!
