Great place to stop by for lunch. I'll either dine in or call ahead and pick up my order. I love the clubhouse stacker and the pepper soup. On another occasion, I tried the tomato dill soup and loved it as well. I've ordered the stroganoff a few times and my only complaint was whenever I asked for it to be well done, it was undercooked. If you want to dine in, make sure you have at least an hour because they take a while to bring the food out. read more

I had the Reuben with fries and a diet coke. Came during the weekday about 1pm in the afternoon. I found the sandwich and fries to be standard. Nothing overwhelming about it. Nothing special. I sat a couple of times with an empty glass; which I thought service could have been improved upon as well. I love the ambiance and the restaurant was very clean. read more

One of my go-to restaurants. The location in Fallbrook is perfect and the outdoor seating is great. We almost always get the prime rib dippers for an appetizer and I highly recommend. The drinks are very tasty and refreshing, the summer menu is one of my favorites. read more

This was my first experience at toast, I've lived in Lincoln for just over a year and people keep telling me left and right that I need to check it out... I feel so silly that it took me this long. What an incredible hidden gem. I am on a very restrictive diet and I feel like I'm the annoying customer and our server Ashlyn was just incredible. She was very knowledgeable and super accommodating... The general manager Jesse came over to check on us, and again I felt like I was greeted with open arms trying out this new spot. It's a little bit further than I typically travel but without a doubt absolutely worth it. The customer service at Toast is not what it used to be. One person in our party found a long, black hair in her food. When we informed the server, she said "I'll get a new one". NO APOLOGY. NO REMORSE. So she did get a new entree, but then when the bill came, I had to request that she remove that entree from our bill. She seemed very annoyed. Basically, she treated us like we were a pain. A couple more curt comments, and she walked away. Things happen. But the manager should have come over to our table. Someone should have apologized, and we never should have been charged for that entree. read more

Went for lunch with four co-workers. It was close to 1:00 in the afternoon and it was busy. I had a BLT on white toast with cottage cheese as a side. Lots if bacon! Very good. My co-workers had the BBQ sandwich and a hamburger. No complaints from anyone. Great place for lunch with a large bar for after work. Wait staff was fine although it took some time for our food to arrive. Approximately 20 minutes. A long time for lunch. read more

The restaurant is in a cool part of town. Big patio as an option for seating. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. The prime rib sliders with Guinness onions and mushrooms are to die four. We could have eaten a platter of those for dinner!!! A great place for dinner. read more

The food is really good. Just don't feel like you are getting your moneys worth. Mash potatoes were about 3 bites worth. Very good but not much on your plate. prices are expensive on everything. Okay, this place is kind of a gem in Lincoln, I come here quite often with my friends and everything is good! A little Small portions but the taste is there, I've had the pot roast sandwich, salmon club, nachos, and sloppy joes with cornbread! Toast is gross, the service was awful the bartender was annoyed that I could bother her with a beer. I ordered a blue moon and the orange came from a jar sitting on the counter not refrigerated. The sandwich I ordered was ice cold and dry and just nasty. The wings were good but not good enough to overlook how dirty the bar was. The entire bar was just covered in filth and flies. Always wanting to go to a locally own restaurants, my son brought us to Toast. Nice place tucked away in the northwest part of Lincoln. It is close to the airports. Glad my son knew how to get here. I would have to use a mapping system. It was hard to decide what to try. Everything sounds wonderful. Our soda and teas were served in a quart canning jars. You could get an adult beverage if wanted. Have come here a few times for lunch. Came today and ordered the lunch special. Got a small Caesar salad and a Rueben sandwich. Got my food within 5 minutes of ordering and came out the way I wanted. Our food and drinks were great and server was super sweet! I only gave one star because as we were leaving we had some friends sitting at the bar and we were talking to them quick and we're actually going to sit down and have a drink with them. Right as we got ready to sit down someone who works for the establishment very rudely told us we needed to "MOVE" instead of politely saying excuse me. You mean to tell we just spent over $100 and we're going to have a couple more drinks and then one of your employees decided to be nasty and rude. Can't say we'll be going back. read more

Just finished the Carolina bbq burger. Holy cow! Talk about some serious flavor! I've heard lots about toast, I frequent their sister restaurant LeadBelly in the hay market and have heard lots about this place. I figured I better come see if this place was approved. The atmosphere is really nice at TOAST. They have gourmet coffee, wine, beer, and some fantastic food. I came with a group of people and we all ordered something different. No one would shut up about how great their meal was... Also the service was fantastic TOAST is a must try if you like LeadBelly. I'll be back again soon. read more

TOAST is toasted. Barely cool Bud draft beer poured in a hot glass. That's so Bushleagish!!!! The bartender seemed annoyed when I kept on asking for a cold glass. This place has got potential, but with new owners. They apparently don't have much competition here so do not care. The owners were there too, no excuses. You're not going to see a lot of farmer types in this place, but the food is good. The service was very good, but you should understand that you're not going to get in and out of this place in a hurry. I took the wife and my 3 kids on a Friday night and everybody ordered something different. It was all good... from the hot wings to the grilled cheese to the reuben to the pasta. The coffee was excellent (says the wife), and we all enjoyed a variety of desserts from apple pie and ice cream, just ice cream, and a fancy, shmancy cupcake. The only complaints is that it isn't a little closer to home, but we'll drive the 30 minutes it takes to get there because you'll get a great meal. read more

Great place for dinner . Variety of choices on the menu including chicken,beef and seafood. Sandwiches , salads and main dishes too. Full bar with unique cocktails, local bear and wine. The chips and salsa were delish- homemade and fresh . I ordered the salmon which melted in my mouth . My husband had the Santa Fe burger with chicken and also loved his meal. The server was upbeat and attentive and accommodated our special requests to alter our food dishes( bacon on the side , green beans instead of steamed veggies) . My husband and I took our kids here and our server was amazing with them!! She was kind and very patient. Our burgers were quite delicious and my sons grilled cheese was also well made. He practically devoured it in 10 minutes!!(a lot faster than he normally eats). I also had a Moscow mule, which was about a 7/10. I've had better but I've also had way worse. Based off of the ingredients- it should have been crown apple, yuzu, matcha powder, lemon and grapefruit and vanilla syrup. Just from the ingredients alone- I would have expected something with some green in it. Light green. Or floating matcha powder. I didn't taste any of the elements quoted. But it was nice- as previously mentioned- tasted like plum wine. Our server did check on our behalf and she said this was made correctly. I ordered Thai shrimp sliders. Shrimp was crispy and plump. Slaw on top was delicious. Sauce was a little sweet. But overall good combination. I ordered a second drink - clarified saturn. This time- i did taste the elements of the ingredients. Peaflower infused gin, golden falernum, pistachio syrup, passionfruit and lemonjuice. Light lavender/ pink was the right colour. Tad strong on pistachio syrup and not really tasting the passionfruit. This was better than first drink. Overall good experience and we will be back.

We begin to eat our dinner and the fries are Luke warm and no where near just came out of a fryer fresh for the customer order. Appetizers finally show up before we are ready for the check and to leave. Appetizers also no where near "freshly prepared" the potatoe skins were cold to the touch and the mozzarella sticks were also again all this like it had been sitting there for a while. Definitely not prepared fresh for customer order. I'd give 0 stars if it allowed me to post a review without it. $100.00 dinner and it was total ass. We won't be back.

Misty's use to be one of my favorite places, but with large prices increases and decrease in quality, I will not be going back.
