a plate of breakfast food on a table

Food is great but service is slow. It's a family buisness for sure so can't complain much about that. It feels homey in there

This place is one of the best hole in the wall breakfast joints I've ever stumbled upon! The staff were so kind and attentive, the small space felt so welcoming and homey, and the food was PHENOMENAL. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and they did not disappoint. The cook sat down to take my order, gave helpful suggestions as I was a first timer, and remembered me by name. I highly recommend Woodees!

What a great little spot which I would say is a local hang out and great breakfast spot. I would recommend this place when you are in town. Great friendly service with food to match.

Lol! We would show you the food- but we scarfed it ALL down!

We drive from California to a Omaha and back about every six months - this is DEFINITELY a place you should stop if you can. The bacon is SO midwest - LOVE it! The food is awesome- the people are awesome- the price is awesome! We will see you all in another six months! Thanks for filling us up for the long drive!

Great food and a sense of humor. The "Woodee" is two eggs, choice of meat, hash browns or a darn good pancake plus toast!!

What a great spot. Neighborhood restaurant vibe with mature, high functioning staff. Great food, great prices, great service. Appeared to have many regular customers. I definitely would be one if I lived in Lincoln.

Veggie omelet. Stuff with hash browns. Did I eat that? Yep.

Hometown kind of restaurant. Friendly, fast & fun service. Great prices. Nothing fancy, but worth the time to stop and enjoy.

Can't beat a local breakfast place. Everything ordered came out hot and delicious. Enjoyed the haystack.

We had a girls night at Fleetwood, and overall, it was a really solid experience with great service…read moreand a comfy atmosphere. I didn't drink, but my friends had lots of lovely concoctions floating around. We shared the Parmesan Sirloin Fondue as an appetizer and WOW--this was a favorite. The house-made green chile cheese dip is basically a spicy, savory roux topped with crispy steak tips. It was rich, a little spicy, and incredibly satisfying. I really loved this and would absolutely order it again. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and it came with a nice, thick piece of chicken--always appreciated. The San Marzano tomato sauce was good and flavorful, and the dish was well-balanced overall. I'm a little picky about breading, and I didn't love it but flavor-wise it's spot on. I had total plate envy for the teriyaki steak bowl. It looks phenomenal and I will definitely be ordering that next time. One friend had the Moody Bleu Burger (without the jalapeños) and said it was still a bit spicy but tasty overall. Another friend ordered the Veggie Burger, and she said it was really good. She often orders veggie burgers and felt this one held its own. Someone else at the table compared it to the veggie burger at Leadbelly, with high praise. The Bistro Burger was also a hit flavor-wise--Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms worked well together--but the only downside was that the bottom bun got pretty soggy. Fleetwood is definitely worth checking out, and it's a little bit tricky to find, but it's right under the bridges under O St.

I also tried a dirty chai latte with almond milk, but will probably try the chai tea latte next time. My son loved the nicer doodle cookie and my daughter loved the gluten free chocolate chip cookie. Service was great and the ambiance was amazing. It had so much work in the ambiance that I could appreciate. The bakery is located down some stairs under a bar. I was a little bummed out that they don't open a little bit earlier to grab some coffee before my meetings. Maybe next time.. I went back today and got another brownie 5.95 so that I could eat it on the airplane. I was a little disappointed, I couldn't try the coffee with the dollar latte coupon I had because they did not have any decaf coffee as it was 5 PM at night as I stated maybe next time. Ambience is really cute. It's all Allison in Wonderland has a huge bookshelf. I didn't take a picture, but it seems like a really nice place to kinda hang out and have a dessert and coffee. All were delicious and I would have each based on my mood. My starter drink was a Blueberry Mojito, which hit the spot. Rum, blueberry, lime, mint, and soda. Refreshing, mild, and on ice. My wife had a cucumber gimlet. "It was incredible." Food started with a unique "flight of three" soups. We each got to taste the Lobster Bisque, French Onion, and Roasted Red Pepper Gouda soups. We each picked the French Onion as the clear winner, but the others were expertly made and tasty. My entree was a starter offering, the Tuna Poke Bowl. Scrumptious, light, and filling. Served chilled in a stone bowl with chips. The Atlantic Cod and chips were great, with a couple of dipping sauces. Perfectly fried. The third dish was a lunch special, it was a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, roasted baby tomatoes, in a red sauce sprinkled with feta cheese. This was so good. We broke down and ordered desserts. The Green Gateau cake is chocolatey with a hint of pistachios. Also had the Apricot Napoleon Torte which is baked up in Omaha and is renowned. Service was superb, thank you Ben! with a relaxing atmosphere, classy decorations, and fun time. We will be back!
