Regular street parking in downtown Lincoln. They have pastries and stuff. This visit- we came approximately 15 minutes to closing. They politely informed us that they were closing in 15 minutes. It's like a speakeasy in the basement. Really cool! A cafe equivalent of one. They do have wine and beers too. And snacks, pastries too. I will definitely come back. I love the coziness of this place. There are some lounge chairs and a couch available. I got me an iced Chai. It's nice n sweet with a strong cinnamon taste They sometimes have live music too. How cool is this!! Point to note: summer vacation = summer hours. They close at 4 pm in summer as they are usually run by students and have primarily a student clientele. This place has delicious coffee, crepes and muffins! There are a ton of tables inside and lots of room if you'd like to study down here. Since it's close to University of Nebraska, this place can get crowded on a game day morning. Be ready to wait awhile on these days if you are ordering a crepe. The staff was super nice and friendly. I loved everything about this place! I ordered the Hot Cortado and a Cinnamon & sugar crêpe. Both were super yummy!!! The ladies at the front counter were really nice. We stopped in this morning after the Hozier concert. Thankfully the opened up earlier than some of the other coffee shops in the area, so we could get back on the road quicker. What a lovely and charming space! crescent moon coffee is a hidden gem in the Haymarket. The reason I say hidden is because you have to go downstairs in the building to find it and if you walk up on the other side you don't see it. Trust me it's worth the look. . Beth waited on me and made me an absolutely amazing Correteado. What was so impressive is that called from the review on yelp and found them that way and found out that their hours were different they're open till six during the week and then 10 Wednesday Thursday Friday I hope I have those dates right. Beth was so friendly, helpful and customer service oriented. She even walked outside to show me where it was because I was walking around not being able to find them. How wonderful to have a business that serves great coffee and has a great staff. I saw people doing work, enjoying the surroundings, they have a stage and it looks like poetry night and a few other things. We stumbled upon this place during our recent trip to Lincoln. The staff was helpful answering all of our menu questions. Each member of our party ordered a different crepe. I got the banana and strawberry crepe. It was yummy, but I wished they had used fresh strawberries instead of defrosted frozen :( My daughter loved her Nutella and banana crepe and the muffins (pumpkin and blueberry) were a hit as well. But the atmosphere makes up for it! Very cozy. The entire place is lit very atmospherically, with a variety of seating and a small stage. The cashier who took our order was very sweet and patient with us as we figured out what we wanted. This place is the absolute cutest. It was not as hard to find as I thought it might be. The set up is great, and it's nice and warm and cozy. The first wasn't overly friendly with anyone, as I sat for awhile and watched the interactions. When I go to a coffee shot and order a double I don't expect the reply to be "so do you want a coffee or what". The other barista was much more friendly with customers. First! The goods: great location as long as you don't have to park. This also provides direct competition to The Mill, two doors down. Wi-fi worked fairly well. EMPTY. Maybe it's just not well-known, but I was one of only a couple of people in here. The bads: ad-driven wi-fi although, strangely, it was just a white bar with no ads that you could hide (although it came up again all the time). Coffee isn't great, but it's not outright bad either. They had a lot of other menu items that I'm sure you could have tried. If I were in Lincoln again and knew that the more popular places were going to be crowded, this would definitely be a good choice. read more
