According to the Lincoln Journal Star, the new owner was a former regular, so it appears that Meadowlark has retained its character and employees. With the exception of less paper in the front windows, walking in you can't tell that it had ever closed. They have a large selection of brewed coffees available every day, and a distinct selection of espresso drinks. There is frequently live music in the evenings, and a variety of seating options. It's great for solo trips, as well as small and large gatherings. I live several blocks from here, and definitely appreciate having them back open. When it was closed, there was no high quality coffee options in the Near South neighborhood. As someone who is passionate about my neighborhood, I am very excited that this community gathering place has reopened!

I had and blueberry muffin that was out of this world and it was so moist and tasty. I wished I had bought more than one because I don't live in Lincoln and it was a stop on the Nebraska passport. The two girls that waited on me were adorable and very friendly. I got a lavender mint lemonade, which didn't really thrill me after I tasted it, but it tasted just like lavender so I got what I paid for. There's also a little cove of seating for books that looked very comfy and cozy. I would highly recommend this place.

I am very picky when it comes to chai lattes in general, this drink was absolutely delicious. The chai flavor is there, not overly sweet. It was a perfect midday pick-me-up on a toasty spring day. My husband got a peach smoothie. He said it tasted like a popsicle. It was so good. There's lots of seating available. It's super spacious and clean. It's a great place to work or study. The employees were very friendly. Our drinks came out quick. There's even merch available for purchase!
