I stepped in multiple piles of sticky stuff and in the bathroom a pile of pee so I had to go get new socks. My daughter's 10-year-old friend slid down what smelled and looked like urine on the tube side and had to stick paper towel towels in her pants for the rest of the time. The two ten year-olds want to tell the staff. The staff members got paper towels and not cleaning supplies and then asked my daughter and her friend to go in the tube slide and clean it for them because the staff member said that they were much too big to go in!? what!? im an adult and fit easy. yuck. the play area had dried up blood. trash. you name it. entire place smelled so bad i bribed the kids to get McDonalds after instead of staying to eat at the end as planned. dropping 150 dollars for two hours of avoiding pee and trash is not fun. lots of staff - someone could be cleaning

Now having a toddler, this zoo is truly perfect for little ones. Easy to walk, the right size, and packed with activities they can actually enjoy. We stopped by for a couple of hours on Sunday to soak in the beautiful mid-November weather. It wasn't busy, which was great, and we got to see all the animals we were hoping to. The giraffe exhibit is one of my favorites! The staff is always so kind and the grounds are incredibly clean. They already have the Christmas lights up, and wow I was so impressed by how many there were! I'll definitely be coming back at night to see everything lit up during the Zoo Lights experience.

We really enjoyed the red pandas and it was amazing (and a little weird tbh) to be so close to the giraffes at eye level. You can buy a bunch of salad greens to feed the giraffes, but even if you don't it is still a great up close exhibit. I noticed a lot of great native prairie plants in their landscaping, so major aura points for that.

We could've stayed here all day! The employees are friendly. I love how the play structures are Nebraska themed. And I really loved how they play Disney music on the speakers! The only thing I would critique is the parking. The museum itself is close to UNL, the university campus. Making it hard to park. There is meter parking available however there's also a ton of construction, making it easy to get lost if it's your first time visiting. Other than that -- we had a fabulous experience. I think getting a membership is worth it.

Bryan Hospital and the Lincoln Fire Department sponsor a fire truck experience in minature and health care activities. There are legos, an airplane, construction equipment and even a wooden apple tree with "apples" that fall from the tree. The prairie dog town and animal identification stations are fun too. There's a cafe of sorts that was closed when we went. The only real downside I saw was it wasn't as clean as I would expect. For example, there were cookie leftovers in the fire truck. Since we got there right at 9:00 when they opened, it seems unlikely that this was new. Someone should do a complete walkthrough before they open to make sure it's clean.

This has got to be the best lake in Lincoln. If it isn't, please let me know. I love this lake for…read moremany reasons; its beauty, how much easy exercise you can do by simply walking around the lake, it's maintained well, and there's plenty of parking. There are also bathrooms available, picnic tables, benches, many areas to fish for those who have their fishing license, etc. there's even a playground for littles! What I love most is you can do 2 loops around this lake and easily get your 10k+ steps in.

We came to see the amazing Husker Volleyball team play Penn State and it was INCREDIBLE Oh MY GOSH,…read morewhat a venue to spectate this team in. This is a perfect season so the seats we're filled to the brim. We sat in the last row before the standing room only section and still had a great vantage point. The crowds can get so loud and the tv's and music is really well done. I liked the little merch store on the main level, and there are ample concessions! there are many parking lots and parking passes also available for purchase. The team directing everyone from outside to inside is so nice and friendly. It's definitely a huge arena that isn't intimidating.
