Save yourself the trouble of a visit. Unless, of course, you like rudeness and substandard service. I read reviews about it being welcoming ... perhaps if you go there often and spend a lot of money? Our first time was our last time. Even after tipping, the service person wouldn't look us in the eye and practically threw our coffee cups across the table at us. When asking about the various bagels (being the first time there), the obviously miserable counter person pointed at the small card with 20 bagel descriptions and made a noise that indicated she thought I was a moron and was supposed to have cased her busy counter to spot all of the bagel details on a tiny laminated card before I ordered. This place truly doesn't give a crap about their customers. i spoke with the owner, who was extremely abrasive on the phone. Due to a recent storm we had, their power was out. But they still decided to be open and were in great spirits! They made do with what they had and provided exceptional service! I ordered the turkey sandwich, didn't ask what type of bread i wanted, was surprised when I got it home it was on croissant. Not a big fan of croissants, but the biggest problem was the croissant was very, very dry. This was the Highway 2 location, but will not be going back either way. read more

Each time, I have come up to the counter to be served, and each time I have been glared at and ignored in favor of someone behind me. I've been complaining for a long time because I didn't know there was a mom and pop coffee shop on the NE side of town. Well there is and it's been here for a while. I met a client at The Harbor Coffeehouse for an interview along with coffee and lunch. This is your typical coffee shop with decent food (I had a salad), lots of coffee choices and tea. It is a lot brighter than your typical coffee shop, it's comfortable, lots of seating, a nice spot I'm sure I'll frequent. read more

Good coffee, good ambience. It was quite busy with lots of people hanging out. Definitely a comfortable vibe. There was plenty of seating at tables or in more comfortable chairs to lounge. Free WiFi-I worked and ate lunch-a Greek salad that was tasty. Enjoyed a iced latte-they have alternative milk options (oat, almond, coconut and soy)--love to see this!! This review is for the location off 14th and highway 2. The coffee was okay, it seemed like it tasted kind of watered down. I ordered my go to of a hot latte with nonfat milk and honey and was charged for a specialty/flavored latte. Some other coffee places only consider honey a sweetener and don't charge extra. My White Mocha was much better than I expected! This place rocks. I also tried a cinnamon roll and had it eaten before I even left the parking lot (got it to go). So delicious! I highly recommend a stop. They play trivia daily and if you guess right you get to put your name into a drawing for a free drink! Clever. The place is huge and extremely clean. There were a bunch of regulars in there enjoying their morning cups of joe which was a comforting sight to see when getting out of my vehicle to go in. The service was quick but kind. Loved it. As a side note, they support an anti-sex-trafficking movement in Nepal! If there is no better reason to try it, try it for the girls in Nepal that still need rescued. read more

The drinks are delicious & everyone I have had serve me is kind except this older blonde woman. She has done my order the past two times I have gone in. She is SO SO rude and degrading. I had a simple question as to if a drink was really sweet or not. She snapped at me, asking what kind of question is that even. I am pretty sure she is the manager as others were asking her questions. When my drink was done, in the same incredibly rude and snotty tone said "here's your drink. Walk over here and get it". I was standing back away from the counter. She almost spilled my drink because she set it down incredibly hard before walking away. read more

This is such a quaint and quiet spot to chill after a day at work with a good coffee drink. I love the quieter atmosphere here, and with the times I've been there on week day afternoons it hasn't been crowded or loud at all. If you're looking for a nice place to study or catch up on any personal work, this place should be considered. I haven't had a lot of the food items, only a few sweet treats from the case which have been delicious, though the ones I've had have been too sweet for me to finish in one go. One of the ladies that works there has my order memorized, and if it's not busy she goes about getting it ready as soon as she sees me walk in the door. The extra special care in customer service is definitely appreciated. And yes, it does have quite a religious leaning, and even though I don't particularly lean the way, it's what makes this a unique coffee shop in Lincoln. Different strokes--or roasts--for different folks. But, that won't stop me from coming back for more coffee and a peaceful place to work. read more

My latte was excellent, the help was friendly as were the other customers. The seating is nice and plentiful, although featuring few padded chairs. I couldn't help notice the Mormon religious tracts in the bookshelf and a number of religious references throughout the decor. read more

I don't get the appeal. Loud atmosphere. Bright lighting. Little noisy kids. Old senior citizens laughing and speaking loudly. Latte just okay but didn't fill to rim. Made a new one when I asked them too. Ordered a scone. Only had raspberry. Asked them to warm it up. They forgot. Not a place to relax. Almost forgot.....there was no music playing!!! Or it was too loud to hear it. My daughters ordered the waffle sandwich. They said it was just "okay". And as far as being "home of the loveknot". Lol....it's nothing great. read more
