One for now and one to go!

Their cromlettes still delicious! Came here this morning for a suaisage one and it was served warm with a cup of almond matcha latte! The place is so friendly and they are quick, plenty of seating in back too.

Grabbed coffee and breakfast here while in Lincoln. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and the sausage cromelette. Both were very good. The latte was not overly sweet and the cromelette was fluffy and light. Really wanted to try the spinach and feta cromelette, but they were sold out. Get there early to have your pick!

This is usually our sunday coffee/breakfast stop enroute fr horse stables to event center east of town. Cromellette is our go-to food choice here. Half dozen varieties to pick from. Have never known of this cromellette until here. We really like. Baked roll, near baseball size, with fillings of different choices. Tried bread pudding today. Never has been a favorite. This is good but not more wanted another day. Always good coffee and honey had here. We like.

We got to Lincoln a little earlier than we'd planned, so decided to pick a place at random to kill some time. We ended up downtown and stopped at The Coffee House because it happened to have a perfect parking spot available. There are a lot of seating options in this oddly-arranged place. Funniest part is, to order you stand in line in what I believe to be the narrowest part of the whole building while behind you is the coffee-fixins bar. So, you're trying to pay attention to your order taker and get your stuff while being slammed by people who already have their stuff and are trying to get their milk and sugar. It's kind of like a coffee house mosh pit. We found a seat in a back area. Our table rocked pretty bad, but since we were only going to be there 15 minutes or so, we hung on tight. We ordered a couple of their Cromlettes, a filled croissant. One was sausage, egg & cheese, the other was peach cream cheese. I'm not really someone who orders croissants, but they seemed like a novelty item. They were actually quite good. There were some herbs and spices on top of the savory one that were a little too strong (in my opinion), but that could be easily brushed off. It's a pretty part of town. I'd recommend it for a try, especially if you're into local coffee spots.

This was an unexpected gem of a find in Lincoln. You walk in and you forget you're in Nebraska. It's bigger than you first expect as well. Friendly workers. I ordered a medium iced Voltaire & used my check in on Yelp for a free pastry item. I chose the sour cream coffee cake - this is where it went from 5 stars to 3 stars.... the first few bites were yummy and moist and full of flavor. I broke off a top piece and there is mold along the edge (photo attached for reference). Fingers crossed nothing happens. I'm an optimist and this stuff happens so I am still giving a decent review. The Voltaire was very sweet & mocha tasting. Make sure you like that before ordering. I did enjoy it.

Cromlettes are an amazing invention. Puffed croissant pastries filled with various omelette combinations and cooked with an herb crust. Divine! My drink was a caramel macchiato latte. Didn't need to add or subtract a thing. Perfectly served.

I've been coming here for about 2 years now. I love this place. It's well lit from the open front window that is decorated with plants. You can go to the back if you want a more private and quiet place to sit. They have a great selection of brews and often have a flavored roasts. The syrup selection is large! Plenty of milk options as well. They are popular for their "cromlettes", I'd recommend the feta and spinach but you can't go wrong with any flavor. I'd also recommend their homemade parfait. The workers are very friendly and easy to talk to.

A delicious Cromlette to start my morning. Egg & Cheese Croissants

All were delicious and I would have each based on my mood. My starter drink was a Blueberry Mojito, which hit the spot. Rum, blueberry, lime, mint, and soda. Refreshing, mild, and on ice. My wife had a cucumber gimlet. "It was incredible." Food started with a unique "flight of three" soups. We each got to taste the Lobster Bisque, French Onion, and Roasted Red Pepper Gouda soups. We each picked the French Onion as the clear winner, but the others were expertly made and tasty. My entree was a starter offering, the Tuna Poke Bowl. Scrumptious, light, and filling. Served chilled in a stone bowl with chips. The Atlantic Cod and chips were great, with a couple of dipping sauces. Perfectly fried. The third dish was a lunch special, it was a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, roasted baby tomatoes, in a red sauce sprinkled with feta cheese. This was so good. We broke down and ordered desserts. The Green Gateau cake is chocolatey with a hint of pistachios. Also had the Apricot Napoleon Torte which is baked up in Omaha and is renowned. Service was superb, thank you Ben! with a relaxing atmosphere, classy decorations, and fun time. We will be back!

I didn't drink, but my friends had lots of lovely concoctions floating around. We shared the Parmesan Sirloin Fondue as an appetizer and WOW--this was a favorite. The house-made green chile cheese dip is basically a spicy, savory roux topped with crispy steak tips. It was rich, a little spicy, and incredibly satisfying. I really loved this and would absolutely order it again. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and it came with a nice, thick piece of chicken--always appreciated. The San Marzano tomato sauce was good and flavorful, and the dish was well-balanced overall. I'm a little picky about breading, and I didn't love it but flavor-wise it's spot on. I had total plate envy for the teriyaki steak bowl. It looks phenomenal and I will definitely be ordering that next time. One friend had the Moody Bleu Burger (without the jalapeños) and said it was still a bit spicy but tasty overall. Another friend ordered the Veggie Burger, and she said it was really good. She often orders veggie burgers and felt this one held its own. Someone else at the table compared it to the veggie burger at Leadbelly, with high praise. The Bistro Burger was also a hit flavor-wise--Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms worked well together--but the only downside was that the bottom bun got pretty soggy. Fleetwood is definitely worth checking out, and it's a little bit tricky to find, but it's right under the bridges under O St.

Thankfully, the kitchen was able to accommodate my request for lettuce and tomato for my entree. The burger gave me sweet and savory vibes because of fig jam and lemon herb mayo. I wish I got there before 2 PM because they stopped serving lunch by the time I walked in around 3. Now I know I must go back! I ended up getting a huge premade sandwich that had sprouts, tomato, turkey and cheese on a sesame roll. It came with chips. My total was $12. That sandwich lasted me the entire day. I ate half for lunch and the second half for dinner, that's how big it was! The sandwich was delightful and tasteful. I loved the sesame bread it came with. It held all of the ingredients together nicely (did not fall apart, which is always appreciated). Plus, the sesame seeds also did not fall off which I was pleasantly surprised about. There are tons of seating options available inside and outside. The employees were very friendly too. I am looking forward to coming back to try their soup and sandwiches during lunch hour!
