I do understand very hard working couple in the back very polite and kind. I ordered sesame bubble waffle and matcha wanted to try. Total should have been 9$ however they charged me $10 not a big deal their tip or tax or maybe they didn't have change in cash. Black Sesame one came out crispy, matcha flavor wise wasn't too memorable. My friend wanted to order ice cream the lychee and ube was out. Settled for mango. They took time to decorate the ice cream apparently made in house. 3.98$ plus tax for 1 scoop. Price was decent they had some other deals such as original bubble waffle 1 for $4 or 2 for 6$. This is a little dessert snack shop owned by an elderly couple. It's located upstairs in Langham Square. I usually come here whenever I'm in the area and craving for original egg waffles. Their egg waffles are always freshly made and its crispy, it's legit bomb! My kids love them and so do I. The owners are super nice and sweet. When they see my kids, they would offer them a little treat like candy or freezies. They offer a variety of drinks and desserts. Ice cream is offered in many different flavors. Original egg waffles are 2 for $5 which is the cheapest I've come across, no where else beats this price. I keep coming back here because of their great service and the prices are really good. I didn't realize there are so many food places in langham square, if you have time make a trip there you won't be disappointed. Right when I came the owner greeted me with a smile, he was telling me he makes all the ice cream from scratch no additives or artificial flavours which I really appreciate it because majority of ice cream has chemicals added into it. What I liked about this place is they don't add much sugar to their ice cream you get the authentic flavour of the ice cream. I got the matcha rolled ice cream on a waffle, I can't believe how light the waffle was it melts in your mouth, and the rolled ice cream was amazing I really get the matcha flavour and the owner said he makes his own matcha which is incredible, it me inside the langham square, luckily it wasn't too busy I only waited ten minutes because he makes everything from scratch, this is what I like about trying new things, the owner is the reason why I'm giving this place 5 stars, super humble and nice, and you just want to keep talking to him. read more

Found this place a while back and have been meaning to try it and it did not disappoint. I love bubble waffles and these were some of the best I have had in Canada. Super crispy on the outside and stuffed full of purple yam on the inside. I got the ube bubble waffle with Hong Kong milk tea ice cream. The ice cream was super cold and creamy with a rich tea flavour that paired perfectly with the warm and crispy waffle (plus it was super cute). The menu was extensive and I had a hard time deciding what to get but will definitely be back to try other combinations. I was with a few friends in the same plaza for dinner and had been craving HK egg waffles with ice cream since Woofles closed up shop. A friend of mine suggested Toast Delight so we went. This place is a bit hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the plaza (like me and my friends) we actually strolled around for a bit till we found it. I was surprised it was a tiny vendor in the wall with zero seating. basically the decor screamed hole in the wall. All their signage was printed out signs on paper made with MS word typed out in Calibri default font. However...We were greeted with the friendliest people behind the counter. All the flavours can be overwhelming out on the front but I'm glad they had a board closer to the counter that gives you a step by step direction of how to put in your order and which ice cream flavours you can choose. I ordered a HK egg waffle with red bean ice cream $7.50. The staff behind the counter dressed it up with a mini Oreo, gummy bear, chocolate chips, and a tiny bit of white cream to resemble a bear. It was cute and unexpected. My other friends ordered the exact same thing except with Neapolitan ice cream $7.50 and a HK milk tea flavoured Thai ice roll $8.50. I thought the price was actually really expensive for what we ate and considering it was a take out only. We ate the waffles standing and then we found benches inside this mall. My waffle took awhile to make so I was hoping it was fresh and warm but it was a bit cold and hard. My ice cream, tasted a bit freezer burned. I would have enjoyed it way more if it was soft serve but because it was so frozen hard, it was hard to eat. Toast Delight, however, does a great take on the classic egg waffle. Their outer shell is usually nice and crisp but the interior is soft and pillowy as I like. The do offer a nice range of different flavours as well, which I am always hesitant to try, but their fillings are quite prominent but doesnt take away from the experience of a classic egg waffle! If i were to choose a filling, I would definitely opt for the ube. This one is nice and creamy from the ube itself, as you do get bits of sweet potato! It's always a nice surprise to find something great pop up in the upper levels of Langham Square. We went here after some shopping in the T&T below. We took our food and ate it at the food court. The store is run by a very nice couple, who took our order with poise. They had a deal of 2 egg waffles for $5. We took that alongside their Curry Double combo (3 fish balls and 3 beef balls), which also amounted to $5. They came in within 10 minutes. It's an unpredictably popular little egg waffle and rolled ice cream place on the second floor of an unpopular shopping centre. Honestly, I think Toast Delight is one of the pillars still holding up this waste of space that is a mockery of the real Langham Place in HK. Sorry, it really grinds my gears. What doesn't grind my gears is how good these waffles are. The family that runs this place is as creative as they are friendly. It's almost as if they're challenging themselves to create the craziest egg waffles possible. HK Milk Tea? Okay, it's just flavour infused into the waffle. Real smashed ube? Challenging, yet doable. KIM CHI? Now you're crossing a line! And yet, it works. Every egg waffle I've tried, despite its filling and flavours, is at the peak of egg waffle supremacy. The egg part is soft while the edges are nice and crispy. The HK Milk Tea/Coffee combo is probably one of the best waffles I've had, being very fragrant and flavourful. Kim Chi was the most interesting; the sourness and spiciness of the fermented cabbage worked surprisingly well with the sweet waffle. The egg part traps the kim chi so it doesn't make the waffle soggy in any way. I haven't had the pleasure of trying their Thai-rolled ice creams or one of many handcrafted drinks yet but I'm sure they're just as good. When you see a couple as passionate as the Toast Delight owners are about their food, you just know whatever they put out would be good. Plus, just look at how photogenic everything is. Next time you need a snack and don't mind fighting through a car park battlefield, Toast Delight is there for you. And if you can't go to them, they can go to you as they also do catering! A little hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the plaza as I was but it's just up the escalators in the TNT mall to the second floor and on the right. Egg waffle was not very fluffy. Grabbed lunch earlier from the same plaza and yes, I was still hungry. So my friends and I strolled around and decided to grab some egg waffles from here. This little store reminded me of the egg waffle push carts back in HK. The store front is tiny and is ran by a couple (I imagine boss and boss lady). And the store itself is very compact. Shocking though, not much traffic on a Sunday. However it is long weekend, so I imagine everyone is out of town. The store itself is clean and well lit. Our daughter wanted two of her favourite desserts to share with her friends for her birthday. Toast Delight offered both--egg waffles and Thai rolled ice cream. We made arrangements with the owners the week before the birthday event. Our daughter and her friends each ordered their custom desserts in advance online (30 minutes before we arrived), thereby minimizing the wait time at this normally very busy vendor. Everything went very smoothly. The owners were super kind, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their special dessert treats. (My husband & I also enjoyed our order of Apple Cinnamon Thai rolled ice cream. So yummy!). The pork floss, sesame and seaweed egg waffle definitely caught my attention. Finally they opened a store at Langham Square on the 2nd floor. It is a small shop, run by these two lovely older couple. They have a HUGEEE menu of egg waffle flavours - it takes about 5 minutes to digest that massive list - and you can also add 2 scoops of ice cream or Thai rolled ice cream with your order as well! So far, I've tried Ube flavour, Milk Tea, and Pepperoni & Cheese... they are all very tasty. I espeically enjoyed the savoury one :) Please note: I assumed when I asked for Pepperoni and Cheese, it meant Pizza with the toppings on top... but they stuffed it inside instead lol. I tried the HK milk tea flavour but I would almost second guessed the owner for making my order wrong as it tasted nothing like HK milk tea. I ordered the egg waffles with black sesame ice cream but overheard that they ran out of the black sesame flavour. Instead of hitting me with disappointment, the owner ended up mixing the flavour behind the counter and got me two scoops of black sesame ice cream to fulfill my order. You could clearly see that the colour wasn't as black as normal black sesame ice cream, it looked almost like cookies and cream. The flavour was there, just not strong enough. DROOOOOL. OH MY GOODNESS, IT'S SO GOOD! This place is upstairs above T&T in that empty mall upstairs. As soon as you go up the escalator, turn right and you'll see it right away. The man that works here is very friendly and efficient. There are several flavours of waffles, all for a great price. $5 for two and $3 for one, so obviously greedy me had to settle for 2. Honestly I wanted four but didn't have enough coins & they don't accept card. Wait time was around 5-7minutes, which was acceptable. Unlike the 'wooffles' across the street that take two and a half days. These waffles were also a lot bigger and tastier. I picked the pork floss & seaweed, which was amazingly savoury. If you like salty and sweet, this is your thing. It was huge and every bite was better than the last. We also bought the green tea one, which looked really great. The matcha on the inside was prominent (at first, I was eating it with the pork floss one and couldn't taste any of the green tea, then after eating it by itself, I fell in love) The flavour was very strong and has the authentic bitter green tea taste. 3.5 star Hong Kong Street Food is something I always missed and have craving for. Curry Fishballs, Egg Custard Waffles and more.. The smell of freshly made waffles is just so intoxicating! Toast Delight, a newly opened Hong Kong Snack Shop might able to help if you have the same cravings as I do. Located on the second floor of the same Mall as T&T Unionville. Egg Waffles $3 each or $5 for 2 in 8 different flavours including choice of original, matcha, red bean, sesame and even savory: Pork Floss & Seaweed. Made to Order and it might take a while to be ready. I ended up ordering the Original and Sesame and while I was waiting snacking on on some Curry Fish Balls ($1.50). The verdict? Not bad but not really as good as the "real" thing. Just make sure you let it cool down so the outer layer would be crunchy while the interior nice and fluffy. The egg waffle a little bit too dense for my liking but still good stuff. Curry Fish Balls was so so. The curry taste was not too intense. But not bad as a snack! Toast Delight also has over 20 different types of freshly baked buns which can also be pre ordered to guarantee freshness! Closes on Tuesdays. P.S. My coworkers did comment that these Egg Waffles tastes much better than Dong Dong at Pacific Mall/Market Village. So definitely worth giving them a try! read more
