Found this place a while back and have been meaning to try it and it did not disappoint. I love bubble waffles and these were some of the best I have had in Canada. Super crispy on the outside and stuffed full of purple yam on the inside. I got the ube bubble waffle with Hong Kong milk tea ice cream. The ice cream was super cold and creamy with a rich tea flavour that paired perfectly with the warm and crispy waffle (plus it was super cute). The menu was extensive and I had a hard time deciding what to get but will definitely be back to try other combinations. The owners were super kind and welcoming and the food was made relatively quickly. Can't wait to come back again. An absolute hidden gem.

Ahhh they made us heart shaped egg waffles !! How cute is that ? It's on the lighter sugar side. Price is SUPER cheap 2 for $5. It's ran by an older couple -service was relatively quick . We did a round around the mall and it was ready ! Definitely recommend this place for a quick sweet snack :)

Friendly service. Small store. Cute heart shaped egg waffles. Can't go wrong with their HK Style Milk Tea. Behind the plaza, there's a park called, Ray Street Park where after my kids finished playing, this was their snack and they enjoyed that very much.

Delightful hidden gem on the second floor of Langham. Make an immediate right when you get off the escalators and you'll see a small stall pumping out egg waffles. They're super affordable at 2 for $5. The egg waffles are always freshly made, fragrant and crispy. The owners are very nice and sweet.

I went next door to get sushi and finally gave this place a try. I was with my son so decided to get the 2 for 5$ egg waffles. The store seems to be operated as a small home business as staff appears to be retirement age. They were nice and quick with the service and even offered my son an extra lollipop at no charge. The egg waffle was delicious and we got both shapes. The standard circle and also heart shape. They have also home made ice cream which another customer said was excellent. I would have tried as well if I didn't have sushi to eat for my lunch. Give them a try. Support local small businesses.

I loved how they took the time to make the waffles. It was so fresh and hot. Loved the seaweed and pork floss flavour. 1 for $3.5

2 scoops of Japanese Black Sesame ice cream in a HK egg waffle "cone"

Deliciously made Japanese Black sesame ice cream! Great toasted flavor, artful texture, really an experience like no other. I've had all different flavors and makes from "frozen dairy dessert" to custard to gelato, and this tops the list of one of the best things I've ever eaten. They take the time to put these little Oreo cookie ears and chocolate chips on it to look like a bear. So sweet.

Full disclosure, a friend recommended this place to me because he's actually family friends with the owners. We wanted to support some local shops so we decided to make it egg waffle night! 100% friendliest owners. Whether with us or other customers, they're always smiling and just the sweetest couple. They also have taken many precautions to keep things clean and safe during covid-19, which is something I'm sure we can all truly appreciate at a time like this. I waited a bit to review because i wanted to try more things first and be able to write an honest review. Curry items are great. I mainly order the combo with the three fish ball and three beef balls. The owner can add extra chili oil if you like it a bit spicier. They usually have a 2 for $5 original waffle deal. The waffles are shaped like hearts and perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We tried the pizza waffle at one point. Not my favorite flavor combination personally but I get why people love it so much. I think you have to eat it fresh. It gets really soggy if you leave it too long I wasn't a fan of ube waffle because of the texture, but if you like ube, you'll love this. They really pack it with the purple yam. Same goes for durian flavored egg waffle. Literally pieces of durian inside and I loved it so much. 100% my top favorite thing to order here!! They also do the rolled ice cream, simple cold drinks etc. They keep things simple enough that there's diversity, but they can control the quality. Solid spot!

3.5 Very small unassuming shop on the second level above T&T supermarket. Never really realised how many shops are operating upstairs and definitely worth a walk through :) Toast Delight is located near the right corner immediately off the escalators and have their menu displayed outside the shop. We got an original egg waffle and a lemonade. The egg waffle was $3.50/ea or 2 for $5 and the drink was $1. The lemonade was decent and a bit sweeter near the end. The egg waffle was crispy and surprisingly not very sweet. The sweetness level was almost quite subtle. It was a good snack and hit the spot!

I was with a few friends in the same plaza for dinner and had been craving HK egg waffles with ice cream since Woofles closed up shop. A friend of mine suggested Toast Delight so we went. This place is a bit hard to find if you're unfamiliar with the plaza (like me and my friends) we actually strolled around for a bit till we found it. I was surprised it was a tiny vendor in the wall with zero seating. basically the decor screamed hole in the wall. All their signage was printed out signs on paper made with MS word typed out in Calibri default font. However...We were greeted with the friendliest people behind the counter. All the flavours can be overwhelming out on the front but I'm glad they had a board closer to the counter that gives you a step by step direction of how to put in your order and which ice cream flavours you can choose. I ordered a HK egg waffle with red bean ice cream $7.50. The staff behind the counter dressed it up with a mini Oreo, gummy bear, chocolate chips, and a tiny bit of white cream to resemble a bear. It was cute and unexpected. My other friends ordered the exact same thing except with Neapolitan ice cream $7.50 and a HK milk tea flavoured Thai ice roll $8.50. I thought the price was actually really expensive for what we ate and considering it was a take out only. We ate the waffles standing and then we found benches inside this mall. My waffle took awhile to make so I was hoping it was fresh and warm but it was a bit cold and hard. My ice cream, tasted a bit freezer burned. I would have enjoyed it way more if it was soft serve but because it was so frozen hard, it was hard to eat. My friend who ordered the HK Milk tea flavoured Thai ice roll enjoyed her ice cream flavour a lot. Overall, next time I'm craving ice cream with HK egg waffles, I probably wouldn't come back here again. Disappointed with the texture, freshness, flavour, and thus, price point.

The service was really friendly! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from the store. I had a sugar craving and this clearly solved it. I ordered Hong Kong milk, tea and coffee waffle along with a scoop of Matcha ice cream. Since nobody really goes to upstairs of TNT so you would expect much from the store but it's really surprising. How delicious it was.

Found this place while wandering around and I am so happy we did! The couple who runs it are very kind, and the egg waffles are one of the best I have ever had. The outside is crispy which gives you that little bit of crunch while the inside is super soft and airy. When we went, it was 2 for $5 I think and the owner gave me a heart shaped one - so cute!!

Unexpectedly came across Toast Delight today and decided to give this place a try. We just opted for their original egg waffles as there is currently a promo going on, 2 original egg waffles for $5! The egg waffles were a little on the drier side and lighter in sweetness, likely because they offer many variations (i.e. flavored options like pineapple and durian, and even pizza egg waffles!) so they want to ensure their original waffle pairs well with everything. I might have to give this place a try again, especially for their speciality waffles to give them a fair trial - but if only based on their original egg waffles, it wouldn't be a place I'd coke regularly.

The line moved quickly and when it was my turn, I placed my order for one durian egg waffle and one original egg waffle. I also chose to pay an extra $3.99 and ordered the mango pomelo sago drink (only available as an add-on). I probably waited between 6-8 minutes for my order. They call out your order number when it's ready for pick up. We went to the food court to find a seat (there is no seating here, counter only to order your HK style egg waffles for takeaway), and I got into the durian one right away. It was so crispy on the outside and once bitten into, the gooey durian filling was heavenly. The original is just as delicious & the mango pomelo sago drink is probably the best I've had. There are instructions on the bag for reheating. I did follow it the next day since I didn't finish everything...1-2 minutes at 325 Fahrenheit. I found that it took longer for me but that's fine. It's not hard to figure out.

For the flavour, I prefer a more eggy taste which would be closer to the ones in HK. The biggest down side about this visit was the batter wasn't mixed very well. You pass through a charming patio to enter, which was shaded nicely thanks to the size of the Shoppers building. Given the recent heatwave, we opted to sit indoors. We were greeted at the door and offered the choice between a two-person table tucked farther inside or a four-person table closer to other diners. We chose the smaller table for a bit more privacy and ease of conversation. Menus were provided right away, followed shortly by tap water. When our server checked in to ask about drinks, we let her know we were fine with just water. Later, when we were ready to order, she came promptly when we called her over. A standout moment: we ordered just one smoothie, and she kindly asked if we were sharing, then offered to split it into two cups without us even asking. A thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The Pineapple Banana Smoothie was a highlight. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, and incredibly refreshing. My sister ordered the Halloumi Benedict. She noted that while the waffles leaned toward a sweeter flavor on their own, the combination of waffle, egg, and halloumi was well-balanced and worked beautifully together. The egg was jammy and spot-on in terms of taste, texture, and presentation. I had the Fully Loaded, which features a potato waffle topped with bacon bits, sour cream, chives, and cheese. It leaned a bit salty, but not overwhelmingly so, still quite enjoyable overall. I loved the potato waffle which has the slightly crispy edges but was soft to bite with a texture that resembled mash potatoes. As someone who isn't usually crazy about waffles, which was such a nice alternative. Each of our mains came with a side salad (lightly dressed and refreshing) and a choice of fruit salad, maple baked beans, or potato salad. We both chose the fruit salad, which was impressively varied with orange, grapefruit, watermelon, blueberry, blackberry, and banana. Note: Payment is cash or debit only.

The yuzu sauce was refreshing paired well with chicken. The dish came with a side of salad which helped balance out the heaviness of the fried chicken and mochi. I also liked how it came with fruits on the side. I also ordered their hojicha latte, which was one of the best ones I've had. It was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of tea flavor. The milk foam had the perfect velvety texture and it came with a pretty latte art. Overall, I really enjoyed the brunch they offer here. It is a pretty simple cafe, so don't expect it to be all decked out because it's not those instagramable cafes. But the food were solid and it's a great option for a small group brunch as they don't have many tables and they don't have large tables at all (the best is to 4 people or less).
