This company is Horrible!! I ordered a Double Front door thru Lowe's which they gave to TM Cobb to make. Apparently TM Cobb requires a faxed Authorization along with the order from Lowes. So Lowe's was the first to drop the ball on my order, because they forgot to fax the Authorization to TM Cobb. So what does TM Cobb do??!! Nothing!!! They set on the order for 6 weeks and never once contacted Lowes to ask why they hadn't fax over the Authorization. Never once in 6 weeks, did they call Lowe's they let the order sit for 6 weeks!!! They had an order and they did nothing!! They let the order sit and Lowes or I had no clue the door had not been built until I called Lowes on Feb 17th to find out where my door was. Lowes had no clue that nothing had been done until they called TM Cobb and they said they never got the Authorization, so they did NOTHING!!!!!!!! FOR 6 WEEKS, THEY DID NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! TM COBB let the order sit, while I am without a working front door because some jerk decided to rob me on Dec 31, 2022, and my front door is all boarded up with cold air coming in all around the frame and my heating bill is going thru the roof because my house is so cold because the door is broken. This company is Horrible!! I went on their website to see if I could contact someone from Corporate but they do not even offer a contact us site they give you a phone number.. They don't want you to contact them, because they do not care. They do not offer an email or contact number for their corporate employees!! It is time we stop giving our business to companies like this one!! IT is UNACCEPTABLE that they set on my order for 6 weeks and did not ever once contact Lowe's and ask where the authorization was on the order!! They were given an ordered, they were supposed to make sure they got all the information they needed and not just sit on the order!!! There is no customer service anymore, that went out the window with technology!! No one cares about the customer anymore and this proves it 100%, Please stop doing business with these people !! They don't deserve us!! I should be getting my door for free since I now have to wait another 2 weeks before I get my door!! 8 weeks because TM COBB didn't care about my order enough to make a phone call to find out why they hadn't gotten the Authorization. TM COBB YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Piece of crap doors are falling apart!

You know a business sucks when a company has all 1-star reviews (oh, sorry - one person gave them a 2-star review....). These are where my doors came from. My door man, Jay, ordered them. 3.5 years after the install and the doors are warping and falling apart! And their awesome 1-year warranty (my $20 toaster has a better warranty) is worthless. One would hope a door would last longer than a year. 3.5 years isn't much better. They obviously used cheap quality wood and shoddy workmanship to produce these doors. Seriously... why did my door installer order from these zeros?

Very disappointing experience. A Cobb 1525 Pantry Door was ordered through Ganahl, Anaheim. The glass in the door that was delivered looked nothing like the glass in the Cobb online catalogue, the Cobb brochure, or the Ganahl/Cobb software. I sent the door back hoping to receive one with the correct glass. Low and behold, sorry, that glass is no longer available! After receiving a $150 credit we accepted the door, although nowhere near as good looking as what we ordered. The door was re-delivered, the finish workmanship is lousy. Lots of caulking had oozed out from when the glass was seated, staple holes in beading that holds glass in place are not filled, even though the door was primed. Ganahl said this is normal. Cobb asked for photos (Aymara). Response to my second follow up call (Aymara) was give us a few more days. I made the third follow up call after two weeks and elevated to a manager (Lavonne). Response was "that is normal". When I said my Andersen doors were not of such poor quality I was told "we are not Andersen, you can cut the caulk out with a razor blade". Make your own judgement!

5 years after buying supposedly top of the line Cobb doors, the pieces the doors were constructed from began separating. 15 years later, these doors STILL ooze tree sap (see photo). Total garbage company, total crud quality, wont stand behind their products. Easy to see why-they cant. They rely on new suckers.

It's the mom and pop, big box store dealers responsibility to check all products coming from TM COBB for defects, scratches. It's a simple process, read the paper work and check the product as it comes off the truck. But to many stores just want your money and leave you hanging. Call TM COBB and they will give you the # for a good dealer in your area.

The temperature in the south facing bedroom on a hot 90 degree plus day would always be nine degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I decided to replace not only the four windows in the south facing bedroom, but six other windows that can be viewed in the same field of vision from the street, to keep the aesthetics consistent. The replacement windows I selected are double pane argon gas filled to help keep the heat out during the summer season. I put out a bid on Yelp and narrowed the field down to two companies, Note I did not select the least expensive bid, but actually selected the most expensive bid. My reasoning was a solid five star Yelp rating, BBB A+++ rating and the knowledge and excellent follow up provided by the salesperson, David White. Other factors in my decision were silver coating on the glass to reduce the intense green hue that most argon gas filled windows exhibit and exterior window casings that are solid without decorative ribs that would collect dirt. I was provided with a detailed explanation of the process and same day estimate. The process from start to finish took five weeks. This would have been as little as two weeks if I did not have an arch top window. Curved windows take longer to build, at least for Ameristar. It took me a while to prepare the two rooms, so I was not in a big hurry. The installation was done yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, and from my view, was extremely careful and exhibited excellent attention to detail. The 10 windows were installed in one day. The crew cleaned up their mess very well and everything went according to plan. I am completely satisfied with the entire process. The windows are very elegant looking, not so green and make the house look better. I trust that the temperature in the south facing bedroom will level out with the rest of the house with the argon gas in the windows. Five stars all the way. Well done.

He was nice and explained everything. Plus gave suggestions... I gave a downpayment of 10% for everything to proceed. They then ordered it. Rough estimate would be 3-4 weeks for the entire process. They have a physical store in norco which was being run by Andres' wife. After 3 weeks or so give or take... i got a message that they were ready to install. Well within the time frame.... They informed me when they were on the way. They probably took roughly 2.5 hours. Lucas, Andres' son was present. Nothing was rushed and i saw how they handled everything... They can reuse your old door handle... but in my case, i bought a new one... just because. The price: It's pretty fair. It isn't cheap but you get what you paid for. For the peace of mind... ill do it again. Since i got a door replacement, everything was included. From removing the old one , to clean up, trash, installing... and thankfully.... the door i got doesn't need any paint. So it's pretty good. Threshold was top notch. And it seems water / insects wont be able to pop in. Will i choose to work with them again? Probably yes... Once i opt for a screen door... maybe in a couple more months once it gets a little bit cooler.

I would had to pay a lot more for Milgard or other name brands. Crystal Pacific Windows is the West Coast division of Crystal Windows in Flushings, NY, which has been in business for over 30 years. So they aren't a fly-by-night company. And they have the warranty to stand behind their work. I did my homework. I chose Crystal Pacific for their commercial lines of vinyl storefont windows for my motel lobby and all 11 rooms facing the street. The quality of the windows exceeded my expectations. The guest rooms facing the street used to the last ones to sell because of the street noise. Fire trucks and ambulances would race towards Providence St. John's Hospital. These dual-glazed, energy-efficient windows cut the noise level by 80%. I also swapped out the old-fashion, wall-sleeve PTAC air conditioning units that also transmitted sound. Now, our worst rooms are amazing quiet and comfortable. And they look great from the street too. Here's our facade renovation poster about our facade renovation. We are almost done. I'll post the actual storefront and guest room windows once we are done and all the dust is gone. During the renovation and installation by our general contractor, we noticed that one of the windows had a crack. My GC said it was due to stacking too many windows against the wall. Regardless of who or what caused the crack, Crystal Pacific's Service Team IMMEDIATELY came onsite, inspected the cracked window, measured it, and replaced it within a week or two! Wow, great service too.

Our home is 29 years old, and the windows had been showing wear and tear for a long time. We finally got a quote from a company that constantly sends flyers to our mailbox, but even with a "huge" discount for just a few windows, the price was close to the cost of a swimming pool. That pushed me to search online, and I found SoCal Window Pros, a highly rated local company. Jack, the owner, came out with sample windows and gave us an estimate. He was straightforward, no‑nonsense, and genuinely kind. The windows were impressive -- solid engineering, well‑made, great warranty, and locally manufactured. We also met his son Alex who is much involved in this family-owned business, and he was equally professional and personable. We ultimately decided to replace all of our windows as well as our sliding door, and we're very happy with the results. Our house looks refreshed and updated, and the old rubber seals that kept popping out are finally gone. The windows look beautiful and have made a noticeable difference in the overall appearance of our home. I literally let out a sigh of relief every time I see the windows. Gratefulness and gladness! There were a couple of windows that took a little longer than expected to arrive, and two were delivered in a different color than originally specified. In the end, I decided to go ahead with the installation, and fortunately, the color worked out beautifully in our home. Jack and Alex checked on the installation throughout the process, and their crew was helpful and efficient. Despite a couple of minor hiccups, communication was good, and we felt that Jack and Alex were attentive and committed to making sure the project went well. Overall, we're very happy with our experience and with our new windows. We would definitely recommend SoCal Window Pros to anyone considering replacing their windows. It was a blessing to have found a local company with quality products and people who genuinely care about their work and their customers.
