Best TJ's in the area. And I've been to almost all of them on the VA side within a 30 mile radius. It's quite large despite the smaller, perfectly Georgetown-esque street level entrance area. Enter through either the street level door and go down one level or through the dedicated parking garage elevator entrance that opens directly onto the lower/main shopping level. From there, it's TJ Maxx shopping at its best. Tons of great clothes, home goods, shoes, bags...all of which are very well organized and beautifully laid out throughout the exposed brick-walled space. Even better: much of their stock is high end designer stuff. Far more than I have ever found elsewhere. It's become one of my favorite Georgetown shopping stops. And there's plenty of competition there, as anyone who has been to Georgetown knows well. Five stars for sure. Nothing else compares really

Came here while shopping in the area. This is a runway location so they do have some high-end designer items. This is a location that you could spend a few hours in because there is a huge selection. I burned out before I was able to find something but I would go back another time with more energy.

Very large TJ Maxx, most of the store is in the lower level and that space is huge and has it all. You can literally find anything you'd need, from clothes for the whole family to luggage to housewares to seasonal merch to personal care. Tons of clearance clothing. The store is also pretty surprisingly well organized so shopping isn't stressful. What makes it mildly stressful is how busy it is and Georgetown attracts a lot of people. Sunday afternoon lines were long but moved quickly and effectively. I spent $23 (I HAD to get that last small St Patrick's Day shirt) and am so proud of how much I restrained myself from going overboard with nonessential essentials! There's a guard at the front entrance to keep an eye on theft and a giant bin for umbrellas to avoid lawsuits from customers slipping and falling.

I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit

This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I will revisit very soon for some more shopping greatness.

The edit is solid -- everything from Hermes (yes, I spotted a pair of immaculate riding boots, sadly not my size) to The Row, Prada, Chanel... even some more accessible gems from brands like Mansur Gavriel. I lucked out and found a pair of Prada Monolith loafers that are still available in-store at full price -- except mine were half the cost and looked like they'd maybe been worn once. Maybe. Such a good score, plus I got to support a small business, which always feels better than buying direct from some corporate mega-retailer. And shout out to Julia, who works there -- she was fantastic. Super helpful, super knowledgeable, and when the right shoe went missing (yes, really), she helped me tear the place apart to find it. I had almost given up, but then I spotted a Prada box... and there it was. Victory. All in all: great range, well-curated, and the kind of place where you just might walk out with a designer piece you didn't even know you needed. Definitely one to add to your DC shopping circuit.

Not only was the staff lovely and welcoming - the glass of wine offered was such a nice touch - they were incredibly helpful as well in finding me a gorgeous red Armani dress at a fantastic price. It only gets better! One of the employees (Krista) noticed that there was a small fix that needed to be done on the shoulder. Before I could even blink she had a seamstress in from a local shop, who came and got the dress to repair on their dime. I honestly didn't notice the issue until Krista pointed it out, she's got an eagle eye. Krista was amazing at coordinating the dress pickup a few days later. I couldn't get out of calls from work so she got the dress delivered to me! I cannot get over how amazing they are, and will ALWAYS recommend Ella Rue. Consider me a customer for life!

It's an old building, attached to the Rosslyn Metro station. It has a dark and run down feel to it, and really not much to offer in the way of actual shopping. However, for those who live or work in Rosslyn, you get used to the dinginess of it and the hobos that incessantly loiter in the public restrooms on the second floor and around the first floor open seating. (Note: Avoid the 2nd floor public restrooms at all costs, unless you enjoy watching less fortunate individuals bathe themselves). Skywalk Cafe is on the 2nd level -- not a bad weight-and-pay restaurant for those who are feeling indecisive and want some buffet style food (mostly Asian). There's a Rite-Aid which is honestly the shining star of this "mall." And a Panera just opened on the first floor (Yay). Theres some other odds and ends stores around like a constantly empty women's clothing boutique (I frankly do not understand how it is still in business), a cute little jeweler (M&J Jeweler), a barbershop that appears to be stuck in the 50's, and some Bank of America ATMs. No need to come here unless you live/work in the vicinity or need to kill time by the metro.

Inside the building you'll find office entrances with secure access meaning if you're a visitor you'll need to sign in or have an access badge to gain entry. On the lower level there is a food court but sadly when walking through recently it looks like the Five Guys is closed, which used to be quite popular when I worked down in the area a few years back. Also little known secret about the food court area there is a clean restroom available. Of note too if you're like me and cut through the building they close access right at 6PM, not 6:01 or 6:02 right on the dot. So if you're leaving work a little late and you get there at 6 you'll have to walk around the block to get to the metro escalators. Trust me the building people don't make exceptions, I've seen many try and fail. Also if you're an early to work person the building doesn't open up for public access until 7AM.
