The only con for me is that beside normal business hours Monday through Friday, they are only open on the first Saturday out of each month. They had an attitude proceeded to act like it was my fault to act like whatever damage was done to it was on me. It was not on me and this is a terrible business and I do not recommend them at all. Absolutely not. As a customer for almost 10 years this is 100 percent unacceptable. Even the Alexa echo show I purchased from them stopped working not to mention that once I got home the other gaming of stopped working. It was like they intentionally made it not work or just blatantly sold me trash defective products that they claim they don't warranty despite it being less than 30 days since the purchase. So in other words screw me and my 1300 dollars, for two gaming PC's that are now paperweight's.... They also made a comment "Oh was this for someone's birthday?" Or they do use them for sizes but items were very misplaced... The low lighting also made it difficult to look at the items sometimes. However, the prices were great, they have a wide variety of items, and I liked that there were changing rooms there. They do have a bathroom but it was out of service while I was there.

Ended up picking up a denim skirt and although I wouldn't say they're priced cheap, it was fair considering the item has its original tag. When I first started consigning, I was told that if there was something I *really* didn't want donated, I could let them know. If they decided not to sell that item, I was obligated to come back immediately to get it. I thought that was a nice thing to do, especially since it creates good will with their consigners. One of the last times that I consigned, I explained to the shop-person that there was a piece I wanted to hold onto if they didn't want to sell it, and I was given some eyerolls and told that this is not something Secondi does. They did complete a quick assessment for me, which I appreciated, but the attitude around it made me feel very uncomfortable. It might be helpful if all the shop folks were on the same page about guidelines! Otherwise, Secondi has been around since I was in high school (and probably even before that), so it's a real DC institution. It's one of the most well known consignment shops in DC, and I do think they do a great job curating their wares and they do not sell mass-market/lower quality items.
