TJ Maxx is the place to go to for name brands for less. They used to have a lot more stuff to choose from but they seem to have less now. I also like to shop at Ross. Prices seem to be good there too. But TJ Maxx is much to my home so I end up going there more often. My happy place this is the best place ever! It beats any other store if you are looking for great prices. I went in expecting nothing, just like everything else in my life. I needed a dress for some honor thing, and as a really thin person it is hard to find a dress that fits proper. I actually found a few at TJ Maxx that fit perfect. I left there so happy and was speechless. The staff was friendly, and the dressing rooms were clean. The only thing I had issue with is that I wish they had more clothes in my size. They have some really good clothes, but a lot of the time it is for sizes way bigger than me. But, I enjoy my shopping trip every time I go. I love to,go to different ones because they are not created equal and if you see something you like, you better get it because there is a small percentage that you will find it at another TJ Maxx. But they all do pretty much sells the same stuff but some stuff I regret not get at other TJ Maxx. As I was here, I took pictures of stuff but I hope that cookie sheet is still there when I visit again. I also love that little chair they use to I'm guessing put up items on small shelves, I wish I had that chair at Walgreens when I used to do resets.

There were a lot more nearby.

Gross. Was trying on clothes and dust bunnies were just everywhere. The lady with batting eyelashes with a thick layer of mascara could have been sweeping her area since they weren't even busy. Blah. Not the store to go to. Anyways not a large selection to choose from.

Horrible selection. The idea behind this kind of store is to save you time and money. Waste of both. Fashionista my behind.

Each place has a theme, or a charm all its own and Grind N Gears Cafe is one of the latter. When you pull up you immediately recognize the place as a former body shop or service station. Not a as station, but a body shop. They have their own small parking lot in front with special motorcycle parking on the sides of the lot. It's a small place. When you walk inside there is a runner leading up to the counter with their case of delicious looking eats and a platform above with an old Indian motorcycle perched looking over the place. To the right of the counter are some toys for the kids, including a kids motorcycle and other funs toys to keep the kiddos busy while their parents enjoy a magically concocted coffee drink by the shops artisans. There are comfy little sitting areas composed of oversized furniture from your parents basement. The front has a few racks of leather jackets that feels like your at The Alley's northern location. They do have some hats and apparel for their own shop and I almost bought a hat. On the left side, they have another seating area, but it looks more like a table in a cozy kitchen than a sitting room. It's quaint no matter where you look or sit. Lastly, their drinks and food are quite good. With all the stand alone coffee places popping up, Grinds N Gears is one of the cooler places and I don't mean hipster.

But once you get inside it's so much fun. With a variety of drinks from coffee to teas and boba there's really something for any mood. They also have baked good from local bakeries. My lovely wife and I finally visited the Fashion Outlets of Chicago for the first time over the…read moreweekend. Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.

However, if you shop in the stores, make sure to ask for parking validation--you can get up to 3 hours free, which is very helpful. Overall, it's a really nice place for shopping. The mall itself is very clean, modern, and comfortable, which makes the whole experience more enjoyable. Definitely a good spot if you're planning a shopping day.

No one greeted me, no one acknowledged my existence for 15-20 min after I was wandering the store. It's funny because there were A LOT of employees working. Most were just standing around either doing nothing or chatting amongst each other. One of the employees actually said they need to figure out how to get more people to the store. More people in your store won't do anything if your staff doesn't offer to help your in store customers. I asked 2 people for help and neither were helpful. I tried to ask someone if all the sizes were out and with her back turned to me, she barely muttered yes. I would have placed an online order, but decided not to based on my store experience today. Happy Returns decided that my order was a gift, and so would not allow me to get my money back, only a store credit. (Hello in there - even if it's a gift, if it doesn't fit, someone (the person who paid for it) should be able to get their money back.) Hmm. I call the customer service number. Rep says there's a discrepancy between my billing address and shipping address. I ask what the difference is. My name on one is Margaret M, and just Margaret on the other. My street on one is XXX Ave, and just XXX on the other. It's a pretty stupid system that can't figure out that the bill-to and the ship-to are the same person. Rep tries to start a return, and can only send a UPS label. I've read horror stories about that online, and so I hold on to the items until I can get to a store. I go to the store. No signage indicates that online returns are done at a little desk in the back of the store, but no problem, someone came up and told me where I had to go. Clerk lady tries to start a return, but can't do it, says it has to be sent to Dodgeville. I have to agree to this, there's nothing else she can do. I give her credit, though, she did try to help me. This is way too much to go through to return things. I've been a Lands' End customer, off and on, since the '80s, but no more.

Assistant manager was terrible. Came here with my sisters and mom for a Mother's Day photoshoot…read more The lady who took our photos was the assistant, didn't catch her name but she's got matted dirty blonde hair and is short. In between shots she was frequently on her phone and rushed our set which was MAYBE 10 minutes when last time we were here with a different photographer who was very nice and funny and took her time, excellent customer service. She took maybe 15 photos with some of us blinking or not smiling yet. Obviously we were not happy with the outcome and she had a VERY NASTY attitude saying she can't redo them because they're completely booked for the rest of the day AT THE SAME TIME her coworker was on the phone with a reservation who was running late. We just wanted a couple pictures redone as we were absolutely NOT going to pay $370+ for overall horribly taken photos. It seemed as though she was rushing us to get out of her face and it almost came off as price gouging as we did not pay that much last time we came. Super disrespectful woman who was rude to my mother on a day where we came to celebrate her. If you come here, make sure you do NOT have this disgrace of an employee as your photographer. We ended up not paying for any photos as they came out terrible and we endured an overall miserable experience. That woman ruined our Mother's Day outing. Next up will be calling corporate!
