I work from home and recently I had to move my desk and computer to another room upstairs. Suddenly I was no longer near the internet router and had to rely on wifi. I had 5 bars, but when all my family is at home, my work's virtual desktop was sluggish. Playing games became impossible. No solutions online seems to help. I found a number of companies online and engaged them through the yelp project. John from Titan AVN reached out to me within 30 minutes. He was friendly and interesting and I also learned that it was his dad's birthday. Yet he took the time to reach out. A day later I presented my issue and he started throwing some ideas as well as how much it could cost. Once I had an idea of costs, I started considering other things. In short, we would move the cox router upstairs and made it a modem. we would have RJ-45 network sockets in my office, 1 for my wife and 1 for me. I had one installed for my daughter in the next room and I had yet another socket installed in our bedroom for the future in case we have to move back downstairs or something. I also considered installing cameras outside in the future and would like a network cable installed in the garage. Finally we would have a wifi spot hooked to the roof at the highest point: The staircase. Here's the most incredible part: it was done in a day, they punched one hole in our bedroom and fixed it after. My only responsability is to repaint it. They managed to run all these cables throughout the house with just that. And the only reason was because a beam was preventing them to reach the wall behind it. For this one hole which had to be dug and then plugged , they covered everything in plastic. Before they leave, they vacuumed and cleaned everything after them. Finally, John installed the new router, set it up with me. Not only our important PCs are directly wired, we have 3 private wifi network and 1 guest network. No more kids sharing passwords with people outside the household. My work is no longer sluggish and I can play games with no lag or issues. To top it off, my wife is also extremely happy with the new addition. It was a quality work, at a good price with a pretty amazing outcome but above all they were also all super friendly too. read more

To start off it has been a few weeks since John completed our home network project. Our home network is now flawless and runs at top speed. John installed a network switch, ran ethernet ports all throughout our two story house, and added two wireless acces points. John was great with communication. He always got back to me quickly, and was easy to make appointments with. On his initial inspection of the property he came out, heard what I wanted done and started offering better suggestions on how the project should be done. He was able to get all the wires ran with minimal holes cut throughout the house. He was very fair with his pricing, and held a high standart the entire project. Misunderstandings, late arrival times, painfully slow work, and wrong assumptions resulted in multiple unnecessary repeat visits spanning over 4 months just to get 3 TVs mounted. Each visit, they showed up between 2 and 4 hours late. Despite this, hour-long lunch breaks were taken resulting in failing to finish the work. 2 hour visits to Home Repot (4 miles away) etc. No availability the next day to finish, so waiting till next week. Next week. Next week. Showing up yet again three hours later than promised. Mounting time is excessively longer than it should be. Two televisions took literally 10 hours to complete. Yes I said 10 hours. Two visits where they were in my house from Noon til past 5pm. Perhaps they bill hourly, I'm not sure. But that would probably explain it. Which further justifies this review. I have another condo in Miami where five televisions were mounted in two hours by two guys. Done right the first time. Never had to come back once. Maybe now I'm understanding how this played out the way it did. read more

Wow! Highly recommended! Titan AVN is the best. The first to respond, and highly professional. The Owner, John Coleman, came over the same day, spent a lot of time explaining everything to us, sent us detailed $PQ's. Work started the next day. We have a 2 story, L-shaped house with lots of dead spots, and an outside casita, and we are blocked almost 100% by canyons, trees and houses from our nearest cell phone tower. Our cell phone towers were being upgraded, and our phones barely worked, and I mean 99% didn't work. We were desperate! It was a lot of work but John made it happen! it was all completed quickly and works fantastic. We now have whole inside and outside supremely fast Wi-fi. We had several different problems with our 3-year old Home Theater. We were only getting surround sound when using Contour or Contour apps - otherwise, only through the TV speakers. Then suddenly we stopped getting picture on the TV. John tried a new HDMI cable, which didn't work, and then discovered the AV receiver wasn't working. We discussed the terrible possibility that we might need a new receiver, but then John figured out a complicated way to do a factory reset even without a menu on the TV screen. It worked! And we now have proper home theater sound no matter what we watch. John was timely, professional, and a great communicator. He also specializes in home networking and offered a few options, which we'll be considering for the future. He's been doing this for several years, but didn't have a presence on Yelp until recently, thus only limited reviews. I can't recommend John enough. read more
