We recently had an issue of no power in some outlets in the bathrooms of a new home we just moved in to. After checking the obvious things like the GFI resets we still had no power so we decided to seek professional help and contacted Let There Be Light.. After describing the problem to Kevin and answering some very specific questions he had about our situation, he was able to fairly quickly isolate the problem to a remote GFCI circuit that was buried behid some moving boxes located in the garage. I went with this company because it is local and family owned plus great reviews. I needed our smoke detectors replaced. During the initial conversation Kevin informed me on the most current Fire code so that I have the right equipment for our hallway and so he could provide the service we need. Contacted Kevin for a malfunctioning fridge. He responded back with detailed information about what might be causing the problem and gave me some troubleshooting tips. I had also been speaking with the manufacturer and had an appliance tech come out, with recommendations ranging from putting in a dedicated circuit to buying a new door for the fridge. Kevin would have come out and installed new outlets if we wanted, but he knew the problem wasn't with our electrical, and he thought buying a new door was excessive. Bottom line, he referred me to a repair company which referred me to an appliance tech who worked diligently until he found the fridge circuits that were shorted out.
