I had 5 newly wired ceiling fans, 2 other fans hooked up and a laundry vent and bathroom fan done by Glen's team Bryan and Gunner. Glen came out to look at what I was hoping to do and he gave amazing feedback. He was so easy to talk to and all in all a super nice guy! Bryan did most of the work but then Gunner came and they were both super pleasant and also did not leave messes left behind! It was easy to schedule times and everything was done in timely matter! Prices were also reasonable and I will definitely call Glen if we ever need electrical needs again! read more

I had a pretty serious electrical issue that started about 3:00 on a Friday afternoon. I figured there would be no way I could find someone to come out to take a look but I reached out to MacGray Electric to see if they could help. Glenn responded to me quickly and said that although they were done for the day, one of his electricians, Bryan lived near me and said he could swing by to take a look. Bryan identified the problem quickly, (a bad main breaker), then he and Glenn coordinated with SDG & E to get the power turned off to the house so Bryan could make the necessary repair. Unfortunately it took SDG & E almost 2 hours to show up, (and by now it was after 7:00 pm), Bryan came back to finish the job. It is rare for a company to go the extra mile but Glenn and Bryan did just that, If you have the need for a courteous, professional electrician who really cares about customer service, I can't recommend MacGray highly enough. read more

MacGray Electric - Tesla Wall Connector - Electricians Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Best Electricians EVER!! Highly recommend. Honest, transparent experts. I have always gotten the straight story from them. When I asked them for recessed lighting in a room, they told me frankly why I might not want to do it!!! Would've put multiple holes in my ceiling due to construction earlier. Will always be my "go to"!! read more

Great work and affordable! Super happy with the install and professionalism.

My first time and I'm extremely impressed! Called in the my issue late morning and they had a person show up later that afternoon. Their repair person showed up with mask and within an hour repaired the circuit breaker and rewired an outlet. I will definitely encourage anyone with electrical work to this company. Superb service! read more

I had a plumbing leak above a light fixture in my laundry room. I was unable to get my usual electrician to come out to remove the ceiling light fixture. I looked on Yelp and found Glen. Glen happened to be available, and arrived in less than an hour. He removed the fixture and opened the ceiling to confirm the location of the leak. He called a plumber, who then arrived within the hour, and agreed to return to install a new fixture. He was a pleasure to deal with, had a professional manner and got the task completed quickly. What a lifesaver! I recommend him highly and will let my neighbors know I had a positive experience. read more

Have to say 3 years now of using MacGray Electric for my own home and referring them to dozens of clients and they're always amazing! Very reasonably priced and they do a great job. MacGray Electric has helped many of my clients too, with both big and small jobs. They make it very affordable, whether you want to upgrade your service, add a 220, change outdated light fixtures, add dimmer switches, even upgrade to LED...Last year I saved a ton of money on my electric bill by switching almost the house over to LED. Definitely give them a call as they're amazing! read more

Fixed a non existent problem in 2 min and charged me $65. When I called to ask why it was an hour to drive down to my house and back up.... Didn't make sense. Im giving a 2 star instead of 1 because of their speedy response. read more

I have used MacGray Electric twice and both times have had an excellent experience. I highly recommend.

MacGray Electric was referred to me by a close friend who is a "custom home" general contractor. He only works with contractors who have the same high standards as himself. I have now used MacGray a number of times, and every time they have been amazing at diagnosing the issue and taking care of it promptly. I can't recommend them highly enough!! read more

I was recommended Macgray Electric by my Realtor. I needed 2 ceiling fans installed in my 2 living rooms and a loft extractor fan. The quote was reasonable so I gave the go-ahead to do the work. Today 2 guys came to my house, on time, and proceeded to get on with the installation. I supplied the 2 ceiling fans and Macgray Electric supplied the loft extractor. The 2 electricians overcame several issues that arose, which were hardly surprising when they don't know the way the house was built, and did an immaculate job. Before starting in each room, they carefully covered everything, and after the job they removed the rubbish and left my house as clean as when they arrived. They were polite, brought their own drinks, and were clearly very skilled at what they do. My thanks to Glenn Macgray and his staff for a job exceptionally well done. I will not hesitate to use them for all my future electrical needs and highly recommend them. read more

Super good experience with MacGray electric today. Our new home in San Diego needed some Retrofit lighting. The MacGray man on the scene was super. His first name Eulice is third generation. Make sure you ask for him. Several times we needed some creative thinking to get around some difficult obstacles. Every time he solved the problem. read more

Awesome service! We are moving & the buyers had a request for each breaker to be examined prior to the sale of our house. MacCray Electric was able to send someone out immediately! I typically have a low threshold of tolerance for tradespeople here in North County San Diego, but this company is the best that I have ever dealt with. Total pros that communicate well, charge a fair rate, and get the job done. I couldn't be happier with these guys!!! read more

Glenn is awesome! We have used him with clients for years now, he is fair and very professional. He has a very impressive setup with his work vehicle, and doesn't need to go out and get materials, he already has them on hand. My go to electrician! read more

Glen and his crew are extraordinary electricians. Their response time, assessment, prices, and professionalism exceeds expectations. We have used MacGray for complete wiring for new construction, re-wire existing construction and emergency power pole. I would not use any other electrician. The only questionable feedback I can offer for them is their sports allegiance: Big Red Sox fan's. Thanks Glen Tom - Carlsbad read more

MacGray Electric is awesome! I've only spoken with Glenn MacGray by phone but, yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan. Bryan is friendly, professional, expeditious and generous with his knowledge. He gave me several suggestions for fixing a few items myself (which I really appreciated). He came by our beach house to repair some bad outlets and run power to a new garage door opener. While he was onsite, he conducted a thorough inspection for us and found several dead outlets. He repaired these quickly and, cleaned up. Their work is great, their prices are fair and they're nice people. We're very happy with MacGray Electric and I would recommend them to anyone who needs professional electrical work done RIGHT! I'm an actual customer. Call me directly if you need to.
