Juan handled the skylight and related roof and flashing repairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond and fixed both the skylight and surrounding roof area beyond my expectations. Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

They were so sweet driving down 45 minutes from Oceanside to fix it up enough to get us through the storm. We were quoted for a proper patch and a whole roof. The quote came back better than any other quotes and were able to do an entire roof. Staff showed up on time every day, and the project was completed on time. Staff were very professional and courteous. They even helped my neighbor bring in her trash bins just because she was elderly, which I thought was so very sweet. There was a little damage on a fascia board and before we spoke about it, they already were working on replacing it and out getting paint to match the house. I called them and they tested it to see it was an issue with the flashing. They replaced a portion of the siding and had it fixed in one day with some touch up painting the next day for about an hour. I am so impressed with this company and how they stand behind their work. The crew that came out was wonderful and you could tell the supervisor had a lot experience and knew what the problem was right away. While working the job, they went under my house and found the ducting for my HVAC had become detached and let me know. I already have the HVAC company coming out this week. Talk about going above and beyond! If that wasn't enough, I had a part failure in my Enphase solar panels. They had a tech come out right away to troubleshoot. My roof was replaced a few months before I purchased my home, 2 years ago. With the last rain fall…read morea few weeks ago, I had a leak of spraying water entering my bedroom and stains appearing on the ceiling. I got out the invoice from Roof King and contacted them to fix this, under warranty. They strung me along for a couple weeks, not returning calls, etc, telling me they wouldn't honor the 12 year warrantee because I didn't "transfer the warrantee" 2 years ago when I purchased the home. I did some research and found out that in California, contractors have to fix their poor workmanship for up to 4 years, regardless of a warranty. I kindly pointed this out to them and gave them a week to respond, before reporting them to the CA licensing bureau. I got a call a couple days later saying "we will be out today between 1-3pm to fix your leak". While I'm glad they fixed the leak (which I cannot confirm since it hasn't rained yet) I think any reputable business would have fixed a leak 2 years after a roof was completely replaced. I would not recommend this roofer at all. If my roof ends up still leaking, I'm getting it replaced by someone else and not messing with this company anymore.
