Richard Olinger provided excellent service. Richard returned my call immediately, and his electrician, Jeremy, was at our house within half an hour. Jeremy really knew how to troubleshoot the problem and methodically tracked it down to a bad GFI outlet in the garage, which was causing several GFI outlets on our patio to lose power. He was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. I would definitely recommend Richard Olinger and Jeremy for any electrical read more

Ricky and team at Richard Olinger messaged me promptly and offered near same day fix on my electrical issue. He had an opening earlier than expected and offered to come out sooner and pickup necessary products on the way to my home. He respected my ask for fan remote color, which was great. He was able to solve the issue quickly and demonstrated care and consideration for my home. Additionally, he provided analysis on other issues he saw and recommendations for follow up. This never felt "sales-y", just care of the home and safety related to electrical. The team fixed the fan/remote kit for a vaulted ceiling fan, mapped the breaker, and analyzed a switch in the wall that previously had no connection. Their price was higher than some other offers, but would have had to wait days to even get an assessment. This team was in and out right away and did the job right. Will definitely hire this team again for electrical needs. read more

The service I had requested was to replace an old light fixture in our hallway, which was falling apart, to a new one. I was in contact with Rick. He was able to schedule it at one of the available times I needed, since the new year is around the corner I wanted it to be done before then. Today Ricky and Billy came to do the work. They came at the time frame they said they are coming. They installed the new light fixture in no time. Both Ricky and Billy are very personable. They made sure that everything is working before they leave. They made sure not to leave any mess at all. The price of the service is worth it. I highly recommend Richard Olinger Electric. read more

Jeremy from Richard Olinger Electric repaired our landscape lighting, which had completely stopped working. We used this service twice. Once to "fix" some everyday issues and (since that went well) once to install a second 240 plug for EV charging. There was a small hiccup in communication about the date expected for service, but that was ironed out quickly and to our satisfaction by Rick. We are really happy with the final product and it works really well for my wife to get her vehicle plugged in. Just what we were looking for. read more

Let me preface this review in stating it is well overdue. Richard Olinger Electric was hired in 2023 to install a 240v outlet in our garage for my new EV. Installation was seamless. The problem I had was the charger was shut off while charging and read as an error. Rick went out of his way to help me troubleshoot the problem. He even suggested I to go to his house to use his outlet to make sure it was not the new charging device I purchased. It wasn't. Long story short, he figured out I had to adjust my car settings in order for my car to charge. Simple fix for sure but not so simple for a new EV owner! I apologize Rick for the very tardy review. Your customer service went above and beyond and I have never forgotten it. So thank you again and I wish you and your family a very happy and prosperous new year. With the warmest of regards :) read more

Rich's team did an excellent job at installing our EVSE behind our main panel inside the garage. My only regret was that I should've been more specific with the circuit breaker rating for our hardwired installation. However, Rich's team was able to accomodate a breaker swap, and that extra visit impressed me. Would definitely seek their services again in the future when needed. read more

I messaged after work one evening because I wanted to do some electrical work in my garage and Rick came out the very next day to give me a quick estimate which was very nice.
