Since my original review a little over two weeks ago, we've worked with Daniel on a few more projects: 1) Google Nest doorbell install (which required a transformer upgrade) 2) Installing new Philips Hue lights in our family room 3) Installing new Philips Hue lights in our kitchen, replacing crappy old fluorescent bulbs Daniel's been quick to squeeze us in and has done an excellent job on all of the projects we've given him so far (along with his apprentice, Alex). We went from contemplating getting a second lamp to provide better lighting in our family room since that's one of our son's main play areas, to going all in on overhauling the lighting in many of our rooms. Is it weird to say that maybe someone's too fast? Knocking all of these projects off on our to-do list so quickly just leaves me wondering what we should do next. Thanks again Daniel! read more

Daniel has done several jobs for my home over the past couple years and I've been happy with all of it. First I hired him to do a peace-of-mind check to make sure all the outlets and wiring were safe since the home is 35+ years old. He also explained everything I had questions about. Then he fixed a faulty outdoor light system and mounted it to the stucco. A year later he installed two ceiling light fixtures, one of which was in a very complicated and one which needed an extra tall ladder. Most recent job he completed was a multi-part garage project. He measured very carefully and installed 5 recessed ceiling lights, connected them to the old switch which he replaced and updated with a dimmer switch, safely capped/covered a very old 240v outlet, wired two new outlets and fixed another one. He was very communicative with me to double check that I liked the placement and look of everything before doing it, and we talked through the reasons for each outlet to make the best plan. I recently painted a checkered wall which I was nervous to have messed up but I needed an outlet on that wall. I called All Pro Electric to help resolve an URGENT electrical issue with the new (hardwired) fire and smoke detectors that were installed less than 24 hrs before by another electrician. The original installer, who came highly recommended on our community Facebook page, did not respond to any of my urgent messages left throughout the day. Since the loud "low battery" alarm had been going off from multiple detectors at 2am, and I had not heard back from anyone at that company, I decided to find another electrician to help me troubleshoot and fix the problem. Daniel was very sympathetic to my situation and said that he would come by after finishing his other project. He found and corrected the problem quickly. We hired Daniel for one of our properties. He was extremely prompt with all his communication, and he was the ONLY electrician to answer his phone after hours (5pm). He also came out on a WEEKEND to provide an estimate. Can we say hard worker?? I definitely appreciate anyone willing to go above and beyond these days. I needed two breaker panels replaced because the ones that were installed in the early 80's were "known for causing fires" according to the inspector when I purchased this house. The quote I received from All Pro electric was fair. They stated a 3 day window to do everything I asked for. I was also having them install 2 extra outlets in my garage. Currently, there were two, one on the ceiling for the garage door opener and one at the front of the garage. I added two towards the rear of the garage. Anyway, they completed the job in 2 days. Daniel was able to come out the very next day after we inquired about an electrical issue in our home. He quickly found the problem with a very worn down breaker, and found additional damage on the main breaker. He fixed the immediate issue promptly, but was dependent on SDGE turning off our power to do the main repair. Originally, SDGE scheduled it for the next day, but then called him later to notify them they could come out after all. As of this review, I have used Daniel twice and both times he has proven to be an excellent communicator, willing to spend time explaining exactly what work will be done without rushing, and always sure that everything is done correctly to the specifications that were discussed. The first job Daniel completed was installing a new circuit for a level 2 EV charger in my garage. Before completing the work, I had questions about several existing high voltage plugs in my garage and whether they would work for the charger. He took the time to look at each one and let me know the pros and cons of each. In the end, we decided to install a new circuit with higher voltage to best suit my needs. The second job I hired him for was installing multiple smart switches in our home. I especially appreciate his follow up and punctuality when it comes to appointments. read more
