I've purchased beautiful lighting options from Light Gallery Plus several times in the past 5 years. Excellent service and lighting selection! Highly recommended. read more

Light Gallery Plus is great to work with! Wonderful selection, advice and reasonable prices. They also did a fantastic (and fast) job installing. They are always so nice and knowledgeable about their products. I really appreciate their quality service. read more

Broke my lamp while repairing. Hid the crack then told me it came to them that way. Flat out lied. Horrible experience.

The most amazing thing happened today! I read the Yelp review about Light Gallery Plus, went there and met with Sean and the wonderful crew, and they happily fixed my lamp in literally 2 minutes! Plus we laughed and I told them they made my day! I only will go to them in the future! read more

They did a great job repairing my lamp. Quick turn around. They have a large selection.

I can't say enough about Sean and the Light Gallery Plus family. Sean was very helpful, patient, resourceful and creative in helping us navigate the lighting and electrical challenges expected and unexpected with a recent remodel. Sean advised and arrange for the exterior installation, of many inside recessed lighting, outdoor house fixtures, switch and plug, outdoor lighting, landscape lighting. Our house has never looked so good, or been light as nicely as it is now. It is now the difference between professional frosting on the cake and the homemade easy bake oven situation we had prior. read more

Everyone at LGP pitched in at various times over a couple months during my remodel project to provide great customer service! I purchased new electrical switches, can lights, mirror, standing light, and a table lamp. The owner Val went out of his way to make 2 house calls, delivering items and re-installing an electrical switch that had an issue. Thank you to the entire team! read more

Update Mon Jun 8th: Received an undescript email asking me if I received an email stating the "item was discontinued and can no longer get it?" 2 weeks to tell me that??! Update Thurs Jun 4: 3 days later and still no call from the store. I have no idea if my lights are ordered or not. So far, I am not impressed by the customer support I have received... or NOT received. I placed an order on May 25th, and today is June 3rd. I have called three times and sent one email. In one of the calls, I was told Tiffany would call me back the next morning, and that was two days ago. I am not not confident that I will receive a call, or my ceiling lights I ordered anytime soon. read more

I absolutely LOVE this showroom! Shawna, Aaron, Sean, and Val are all so great! They are a local family owned business that has never let me down. As an interior designer, I love having this family be a part of my projects...they truly make me feel like the most important client in the world everything I visit. They have a selection of products that can not be matched anywhere else. Sometimes I go in with such a specific vision and the team instantly is able to find me options that perfectly match what I want. Pricing is also very competitive (even better than what you find at some of those online outlet places), quality is superb, and they stand by their products. I have been using them for the past five years and will continue to use them as long as I am a designer! Great choices for interior and exterior lighting with constant product updates too! Thank you to the whole team at light gallery plus, I wish every company was as wonderful as you! read more

Lights will turn on in your mind with the bright design ideas on display. I was warmly greeted by Shawna and was impressed with her professionalism and lighting design knowledge. She will provide you a custom look by guiding you every step of the way and give back that GLOW in your home or office with the ease of purchasing the RIGHT main or accent pieces. Also, they are family owned and it was nice to be in a family friendly environment where I didn't feel pressured to buy just a good experience overall. Highly recommend checking this showroom out for your lighting needs. This showroom is a breath of fresh air in terms of a shopping experience. read more

Came into the store today to explore options for replacing all the exterior lights on my home. One person said "Hi", but no one offered to help me. I stood in that area for a long time and even walked around the store. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Beautiful selection, but very pricey. While I did find quite a few light fixtures that I loved, the prices are just really out there, we are talking several thousand each, just too much for the amount of lights we need for our new home. Service was nice and the selection great, just not in our budget, so we will have to look elsewhere. read more

This is the way people are supposed to be treated. The owner Val is awesome. My fixtures are incredible. The service was top notch. Everything about my experience was great their customer service, knowledge it's all first class. I will be going there for all my lighting needs. Rick and Michele read more

I was pleased to find Light Gallery Plus does lamp repairs. I stopped in their store yesterday with one of my lamps which needed a minor repair. The gentleman fixed it on the spot. When I asked what I owed him, he said he wasn't going to charge me for the couple of minutes it took to tighten the base of the lamp. I didn't have any cash to offer a tip for the great service and repair. I'll go back to find two fixtures I need for bathroom updates. The store has many beautiful and varied lighting options! And I know I'll get outstanding service! read more

We recently purchase 2 hanging lights for our front hallway and dining table. It was quite an investment. The folks at Light Gallery Plus were very helpful in picking out the right lighting for our design. However, where store really shines is customer services. There were some issues that arose with the fixtures, and every time, these folks stepped up and made this an incredible experience. Very glad we worked with them, and are really happy with our fixtures. read more

Thank you Shawna for your help with the beautiful pendent light selection. I stopped in just to look around thinking the store maybe out of my budget. I was totally wrong!!! Shawna was super helpful and patient with me finding what I needed. I was surprised at how fast the products ship as well. I've had to stop by a few times and everyone is so friendly and eager to help. read more

So sad...... Stopped by today to purchase lighting for a two story home remodel. All lighting fixtures will be replaced. Walked in and two gentlemen were in the store. One was talking on the phone in the showroom discussing at length his stocks and the corona virus. The other gentleman was watching a video on his phone. I was there for about 10 minutes and was not greeted or recognized by either person until starting to leave after looking around for 10 minutes. Very disappointing. read more

Friendly and easy to work with family ran business. Lots of selection for ideas. Our order came quickly.

Wow! What an amazing team. I am trying to figure out kitchen lighting with some current "issues." Everyone was so helpful and creative. Definitely recommend! read more

My husband and I purchased a wall sconce in early 2022. We liked it so well that we purchased the chandelier in March 2022. The chandelier sat in its box in our great room for eight months -- my husband had buyers remorse -- but I wanted it up before Christmas. He grudgingly agreed. There was no remorse once the contemporary chandelier was hung. It is so stunningly beautiful and it finishes our dinning room perfectly. Val, the owner of Light Gallery Plus, is wonderful to work with on these amazing lights. Light Gallery Plus has the best selection of luxury lights than any other light store in San Diego County. The contemporary and modern lighting showcased is spectacular. Equally spectacular are the stores' wall fixtures, outdoor fixtures, fans, pendant lamps, lamps and chandeliers. Nothing can match Light Gallery Plus and owner Val's good taste, good humor and good business practices. Highly recommend. read more

I had a complex lighting/electrical problem that I just could not solve. I spent 2 months time in buying and returning components. I got frustrated and hired an electrician. Even he did not solve the issues. I went into Light Gallery Plus fully prepared to start from scratch and buy and entirely new monorail track system. After explaining the problem to Val, he told me he didn't think I needed to start from scratch. He came over to my house and solved the problem in minutes. He knew exactly what to do and provided me with all of the components to make it work. He could have easily just sold me a $3000 system but instead what I needed only cost a few hundred dollars. Besides being an expert, he was as kind and honest as they come. My lights work and my kitchen is beautiful again! Thank you Light Gallery Plus! read more

I'll never go in there again. Very "po-dunk" - terrible Customer Service. I tried a few times to shop with them. Not too sure what's really going on there. read more

Sean and team are absolutely amazing! Very attentive and resourceful.

This is one of the most professional family owned businesses still thriving. It is exceptionally run by the Owners Sean and Tiffany and their incredible knowledgeable staff. Looked at several other places for new lights and was overwhelmed. Came here, Tiffany was so helpful and knowledgeable. She asked questions to figure out the style I was looking for. Made the process easy and painless. LOVE my new pendant lights so much that I came back and ordered lights for my dining room and entry way. read more

We are so pleased with all the fans we bought from Val and Sean at Light Gallery Plus (6 in total). We had a problem with one of them, Val took care of it (and I'm talking he came over and installed the replacement fan himself). Just a sweet guy who knows a thing or two about customer service, quality products, and fair pricing. We loved supporting this local, family owned business. We will be back for some light fixtures soon! read more

Sean and Val have been super helpful in assisting my clients with quality lighting and fans. Recently I installed a Minka simple, and the motor was defective. You can tell this is a family run operation from the minute you walk in. They all work together and deliver an amazing customer service. We had a big order for all of our outdoor lighting and despite a small hick up in our shipment getting displaced by the shipping company, they handled things beautifully. They made sure they got right on it and placed a new order immediately. When I went to pick up my order, my car was too small and one of the owner's grandson's drove the rest to my house and took care of it. Their prices were definitely reasonable and more than anything their customer service was superb which is what I usually care about the most. I highly recommend!! read more

We always find what we're looking for at Light Gallery Plus. We've completely remodeled our house and Light Gallery met all our expectations! I'm not really one for surveys or writing recommendations but I really feel that Light Gallery Plus goes above and beyond and deserves five stars for a job well done! Val and his family always have great suggestions and help us plan for things we might not be thinking of. Very friendly and helpful. Lots of choices, quick delivery. Worked great for us! read more

I recently visited this establishment and while I really didn't know what I was looking for, I was so happy that I stopped in. I had the pleasure of working with Shawna. She was the best. I don't know much about lighting and/or what I needed. I was a bit intimidated going in there, but she was so warm and welcoming and patient with me. I had a million questions and she took her time with me and made sure I was well informed. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. You guys are lucky to have her! If you are looking for lighting.... for anything, go see Shawna. You won't be disappointed. read more

This is by far the best light store In San Diego. Everyone who works there is incredibly helpful and can help you find any type of light you are looking for. The store has great selection. We shopped there last year for a home remodel. Sean helped us select great fixtures for the inside and outside of our home. One of the cool pendant lights we bought stopped working. I thought it was the bulb. Sean looked up the light and helped me figure out the right bulb. When the bulb didn't fix it, Sean asked me to bring the light in and he tested it! He determined that the socket is the problem, and he is now working with the manufacturer to get me a replacement. I'm amazed by his service and support. Wow! read more

Loved this place! Great selection and service. Tiffany helped me with lights for our dining area, which has 2 story ceilings, master bathroom, and 5 ceiling fans. She has a great sense of design and was very helpful. Their installer, Andy, was wonderful, too; very knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous. WE will definitely use this gallery again when we upgrade our landscape lighting and any other interior lighting. read more
