If I could give Electrical Insight 10 stars, I absolutely would! I received several quotes for installing my Tesla Universal Wall Connector, and a few other companies made the project sound much more complicated than it needed to be. I was being told I would need additional panel or breaker upgrades, which would have added quite a bit to the cost. Austin was completely upfront from the beginning. He reviewed what was actually needed, provided a clear and fair bid, and was able to complete the installation without the unnecessary upgrades and added costs that others were recommending. That transparency was a huge reason I decided to go with Electrical Insight, and I'm so glad I did. From start to finish, the process was incredibly easy. Scheduling was a breeze, and Jaxon and the installation team were awesome -- fast, professional, clean, and efficient. They did a great job with the installation and left everything looking clean when they were finished. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the experience. I really appreciated the honesty, professionalism, and quality of work from the entire team. I would 100% recommend Electrical Insight for EV charger installations or any electrical work! read more

Electrical Insight was great to work with. Austin was professional, responsive, and gave us a very fair price without trying to upsell us. He recommended the best option for our warehouse and replaced our old, bulky lights with new low-profile commercial lights. The difference is huge, and we're very happy with the results. We'll definitely use Electrical Insight again for future projects. Highly recommend Austin and his team! read more

This company is amazing! Their technical expertise is solid! They find the best ways to take care of electrical nightmares. Their prices are more than fair. Great work on my fuse box. This company is great to work with - from start to finish! The first project I had took less than three minutes and they didn't even charge me. (Turns out it was an easy fix, but outside of my knowledge base.) I got three estimates for the next project I had, and these guys weren't the cheapest, but they did come across as the most competent. They were able to price match a quote that I got, and they came out and did solid work. Clean installation and very respectful employees! I would definitely hire these guys again. read more

This was a good experience from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable and service was excellent. Jaxson did the repairs and some new installation to some lights in my place and he was professional, knowledgeable and I am extremely happy with the work that was done. read more

Installed an EV charger. Very personable and upfront with quote/cost of project. Will reach out again for future electrical issues!

The electrician charge five times more than the assessment fee and left me with flickering lights. He said that I can pay several thousand to have all of the outlets replaced to wire things correctly and identify the issue. I found the problematic outlet myself a few hours later when we lost power again. read more

they installed circuits and extra drops from main panels to outdoor kitchen. Austin and Connor did a fantastic job. Austin's bid was extremely competative, so highly recommended. As a side note a month later, Austin came out for a power issue with a spa along with a arcing issue in the main panel. He took care of both quickly. ?Highly recommended electricans!!! read more

Douglas was super responsive and did a quick walk through to get a quote generated. Robert showed up the next day and was easy to work with to configure the right solution for the electrical panel to provide a 50A circuit and a direct 220V line to our new sauna in the backyard. The project went smoothly and was executed efficiently and professionally. Great communication and scheduling too. Highly recommend the Electrical Insight crew! read more

Mari gave me a 2 hour window that Doug would show up to provide an estimate. I pushed out a few work meetings and left early to meet him at my house. He never showed. He called me 30 mins after the window to let me know that "he left me hanging". Yeah, I know. No apology and zero effort to even make it out. Further, he let me know that he would be sending me an invoice for the estimate immediately... huh? He wanted to charge me $200 ($100 off for no-showing) for an estimate that I didn't receive. I pushed back on that nonsense and he offered to do the estimate for free like it was a favor. If there is a minimum charge for a visit, you need to let people know up front, Mari. Weird vibes and odd business practices. read more

nice work and reasonable price, friendly worker. the work has been done neatly and efficiently

Quick response and next-day service. Austin was incredibly personable. Will definitely be using them again.

They were paid to rewire the house. Every time we open a wall, we find a mess they left behind. In this particular instance, they ran romex through the j-box and tied it to the original wire that was supposed to be removed and replaced. They made this connection just above the box. Totally unsafe and illegal. Later they had a drywall patch guy come back and he used 2 1/2 inch screws and put two of them through the wires. As a result the j-box is hot. This company is a total mess. They were a mess to work with, and I'm paying to have messes left behind fixed. read more

Doug & Austin arrived in the hour of need! We have used their services for multiple electrical situations when adding lighting to our backyard, setting up our hot tub and assistance with our Tesla charger. They are efficient and professional. A great value for what they provide ! read more

Great service, my 1973 panel was upgraded, and extra cables were added throughout the condo. Some drywall damage occurred where access to the cables was necessary, so if you're not prepared to handle the repairs yourself, make sure to have a drywall contractor ready to patch and match. Austin provided a prompt estimate and was readily available to address any questions. His efficiency made the selection process easier, especially considering others contractors either failed to send an estimate or took too long to respond. The only issue we encountered was with the additional kitchen cable; the white cover was not properly secured in the socket and had popped out along with the box. I'm guessing this occurred because the hole made was a bit large. I had to undo the work, readjust the wires, and reinstall the electrical box and cover to ensure a snug fit. Overall I'm happy with the work that was done and I'll be calling them for any future electric upgrades/repairs. Thanks! read more

Friendly, reliable and trustworthy! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Friendly people that care about quality work.

Douglas was super helpful with getting a new light fixture installed for us. Very friendly and professional service, thank you!

The guy that came out was nice but he didn't actually do anything. He was supposed to do a quote and I thought he was and it's an urgent situation where the power is shutting off. The soonest appointment was a week out which okay fine but then today they said they are coming to assess and give a quote. What??? So what was the other guy here for? I canceled and just going elsewhere. read more

Austin was super helpful. He called to provide a quote and ask what the issue was. Provided advice over the phone and I tried out his suggestion which worked perfectly. So fixed it myself and didn't need to have them out after all. That's service! Will call them again for other needs. read more

I called Austin at Electrical Insight at 8 pm after my Kitchen applicances stopped working. Frustrated having checked the GFCI and Circuit Breakers, Austin put me at ease on the phone and led me to a subpanel installed for my solar system which held the offending breaker. Quick reset and back in action. So grateful to Austin for his quick and efficient help and would highly recommend him. He will be the first person I will call for electrical help. read more

Polite and responsive, however they charge a minimum service fee of $300. My work was a simple light dimmer socket switch replacement - probably 5 mins or less of labor. Yes, travel time to and there, however, still unreasonably priced. Went with a different company that had good ratings and quoted $150. read more
