I was even told by these electricians that if someone finds out what the problem is to please let them know. I called Kats Electric a couple of days ago about this issue. They came over today, followed the circuit halfway through my house, and found the culprit: the circuit was making a connection to a disconnected copper water pipe through the chicken wire inside my wall! Very professional, personable and skilled. I highly recommend them.

Jerry Langner of Langner Electric is awesome in every way imaginable! Jerry worked on my father's…read moreand my homes in all sorts of capacities, and did an outstanding job on every project he was handed. In my father's home, he removed old and dated fluorescent lighting in the kitchen and all bathrooms and replaced them with beautiful LED recessed lights. He installed electric heater controls, multiple indoor and outdoor outlets, recessed retrofit LED lights, 14-inch flush mount LED ceiling lights, exterior downlights, replaced old bathroom exhaust fans and the list goes on. In my home, Jerry installed bathroom ceiling exhaust fans, light junction boxes and light bars, closet lighting, exterior bubble cover outlet, interior outlets and light switches, wiring for bedroom ceiling lights and the lights themselves, as well as repaired a wobbly and noisy ceiling fan. Jerry is a great communicator and a very nice and genuine guy with a positive attitude, which made it a pleasure to have him working in both homes. What's amazing is how once he gets started, he works like a quiet and steady whirlwind (I told him he was like the "Tasmanian Devil," the cartoon character), swiftly and systematically attacking each job one by one. There are always some fine-tuning decisions to be made when electrical repairs and installations are done, and Jerry made sure to include me on these decisions, which I greatly appreciated. He took the time to show me a variety of exhaust fans available so I could make an informed decision. He also consulted with me before installing them to make sure I approved of the installation location. He also did a fabulous job of cleaning up after his work was completed. Jerry is a terrific problem-solver, has great ideas and thinks outside of the box. He's organized and has a trained eye for detail. Jerry of Langner Electric will definitely be my electrical contractor from here on out, and it will be my honor to refer him to my friends and neighbors.
