Junk service at all, junk customs service, all in this company is junk. If you buy your own tires they say no. What kind of service is that?Haaaa I know now, because they sell a set of tires for $1,000 dollars same tires you can fine online for $500. Same brand same size same tires. read more

TERRIBLE!!! To say I'm disappointed in the service at Tires Plus is an understatement. I made an appointment online and dropped my car off on Dec 22. I received a call on Dec. 23 to say the person that needed to look at the car was not back in the shop until Jan 3/4. The car was not drivable so I left it at Tires Plus (Lancaster). I had 2 missed calls on Dec 28 from a number I didn't know and not the Tires Plus number on their website but no message was left and no one called back.I called on Jan 5 since I hadn't heard anything and Shawn told me that they've been trying to reach me. Again, no messages were left or emails sent. We went back and forth a little about the lack of communication and he proceeded to tell me that the drive shaft was bad and needed to be replaced. Cost was $1700. I applied for a Tires Plus CC over the phone since it's 6 months no interest and 10% off when you use their CC.I picked the car up on Jan 9, drove it home and dropped it back off the same evening because the issue was not fixed. I called the next morning as soon as they opened and it took 3 tries until someone answered. Jairo told me that they would take a look at the car ASAP and let me know. Jairo called that afternoon to tell me that he had his master technician look at the car this time and  the issue was the front shift differential. However, the drive shaft that was replaced the first time, was bad. I'm not sure if the drive shaft was bad or not. The cost to replace the front shift differential was $2400. Since they replaced the drive shaft and it wasn't the issue, they gave me credit for $1700 towards the shift differential but I still had to pay $800 as the difference. I should not have had to pay anything additional since they did not fix the issue the first time.  According to their website, they have The Tires Plus Guarantee: We promise that the services we perform will be fixed right the first time. If the automotive repair or service was performed improperly, then we will re-perform the service at no additional charge to you, during the established warranty period. Reading the guarantee tells me that I should not have had to pay an additional $800 since they didn't fix the issue the first time. Needless to say, I will not be taking any of my vehicles to Tires Plus in the future and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

ABSOLUTE LIARS! tried to scam my son $800. Never go there. They lied to my son about repairs that were needed. Said his car was unsafe to drive and refused to give him the keys. He had to pay for towing back to his house. I've been a mechanic for 30 years and know his car well having serviced it many times before. He was told the caliper piston seal was leaking, that the front brakes, rotors and 1 caliper needed to be replaced. I inspected the car and found the banjo bolt from the brake hose to the caliper to be 1/4 turn loose. No fluid on brakes or rotor. I replaced the brakes myself 1 year ago and know there is no reason for that to have happened. I suspect the tech loosened the connection to take a picture for a good paying easy job. I am pursuing legal action to prevent others from being scammed. read more

very friendly very detailed with my car great service tires are great made appointment online took very good care of my car

Brought vehicle in to get a nail removed/plugged. They brought my vehicle back around 11AM. It took them 40 minutes to come out and tell me that the tire isn't repairable. Total waste of time. Will never come back. read more

My advice is to avoid at all cost. My experience leads me to believe their employees check their brains at the door before they clock in. I had my car in for inspection and oil change. I gave the front counter guy a plastic holder with my insurance proof and registration proof that is required with inspections. I doubled checked that I had the current proof of each as these both have expiration dates (this becomes an issue later). Much later, I get approached by the counter guy and he tells me there is an issue with my registration proof being expired. He asked me to come to my car which is still in the service bay area of the business. He hands me the plastic holder I gave him earlier with current proofs of insurance and registration. Now, low and behold the current proof of insurance and registration are gone and expired ones that were behind the current ones are all that remain. We go to my car and someone has removed everything from my glove box and tossed it around haphazardly over both front seats (they were looking for the elusive current paperwork). I tell the guy I don't have anything to add because I know 100% for sure that I gave them the current proofs of insurance and registration in that holder when I dropped off the car. He then tells me that they found the current registration but not the current insurance proof. I tell him I have no clue where it went but I know I gave it to him when the car was dropped off and I have no idea where in the shop it got misplaced or which employee misplaced it. He then goes over to another area of the shop to talk with the technician involved. After a few minutes he returns and says he owes me an apology as they found the current proof of insurance too! I am instructed to go back inside and the car will be ready shortly. About another 1/2 hour goes by and I am getting worried again. The counter guy approaches me AGAIN and says when they entered the insurance information there is a problem. Yikes! I thought we just took care of this issue a half-hour ago when they said they found the current proof of insurance paperwork!? The technician then came into the waiting area and spoke briefly with the front counter guy. I heard the front counter tell the technician he needed to "get it together." The counter guy apologized again and said they had the proper paperwork and there wasn't an issue anymore! The car was the brought out a short time later. I can't recommend. The price was about average but the stress and aggravation from just employee incompetence leads me to my 1-star review and I would tell people searching for car repairs to avoid this particular establishment. read more

Tire change took 3* hours probably because I ordered the tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped to this "authorized" installer. Summer tires were put in my trunk ..I knew that because of the grease prints all over my hatch. read more

Thank you to Jeremy Rosario and Wellington at your Plaza Blvd. location in Lancaster for being so helpful to me when I brought my car in for state inspection. I could not find my insurance policy or registration. They were so patient while helping me go-line to find these documents. Outstanding young men! read more

DISHONEST people. I went there to get screw removed from tire and patched. They said it couldn't be patched and I needed a new tire. This was after taking my car in an hour and a half after my appointment. I was annoyed with them so I said no thanks and left. Went to Jack Williams Tire today and they not only patched my tire but they didn't charge me for it!! This is my second experience at Tires Plus where they tried to overcharge me AND perform unnecessary work. This was the last straw. read more

This place has been my service shop for several years now. I have always found them to be helpful and quick. They have occasionally recommended services that I didn't originally order but they have always been reasonably priced and my car is going on ten years old! The clerks are professional and cheerful. A great place to do business. read more

This was a horrible experience!!! I made an appointment for 8:00a to drop off my truck and get it inspected and it took them until 4:00p to finally start the inspection. Once the inspection was completed it then took them 3 more hours to replace a tire, windshield wipers and a broken tag light. I will never go to one of there stores again...oh yeah and I paid $400+ for this service... Horrible customer service!!!! read more

I enjoyed chatting with the manager during my visit. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I can tell he really cares about the company, the employees, and the customers. This was my first visit (for a state inspection) and now I'm planning to go back next month for tires and alignment. Definitely earned a repeat customer. read more

My Suv was towed to this location around 10am from a Firestone location. My husband drove by to see if our truck made it there and when my husband didn't hear any communications from them, they lied and said they didn't get it until after 12pm, (i have email showing the time) so that was 1 lie. Then they said they didn't finish an inspection ( I'm guessing there look over or checklist) which was done prior the day before at the firestone location, so it didn't need done, and my SUV was at tires plus for repair that firestone said they couldn't complete, even when we had an appointment. So after not hearing anything my husband called again, and was told that they were going to just replace the wheel bearing hub assembly and send him on his way with not fixing the brakes or rotors. This place is just as incompetent, with no communication, poor customer service and they will max out your credit card, overcharge, and do not care if they send you off on your way regardless if work is done properly or have no care about your safety. Need better management, better customer service and techs that actually care about customer needs and safety. read more

I cannot believe how long it takes to troubleshoot a leak and patch a tire here. The people are awful as well. Front desk complaining about other customers while waiting in the waiting room. Ended up waiting well over two hours(even had an appointment) to find a nail in a tire that ended up not being replaced requiring me to purchase a new tire. Would have been ok with the long wait if the front desk staff weren't so rediculous and rude when asked about the delays. read more

Excellent customer service, the manager was very accommodating and really helped me understand what was wrong! Highly recommend them.

This would be a great place to go if you're looking to get scammed. Go in for tires and they tell you you're car is too dangerous to be on the road. Backtrack when you call them out in it. They even try to scare you by taking pictures etc. backtrack when you question them. Even try to bait and switch the tires by telling you it's too cold to put on the ones you asked for (wtf) but can give you other discontinued tires for the same price. Seem to think because you are female you don't know any better. DO NOT GO THERE!! read more

TWO THUMBS DOWN!!! Took my car in for free exhaust inspection and was charged for it. They did something to my exhaust system so now it vibrates the entire car and is extremely loud. My car is not able to be driven. They must have loosened something or intentionally broke something. What a scamming way to get business...I don't recommend. read more

My wife took my car in for me to figure out an issue I was having with cupping tires and to buy 2 new tires. She was nice enough to wait for the car!! Tires Plus did find an issue that was most likely the culprit. This took 2 hours+. They called me and explained the issue and the cost but I decided it would be cheaper just to replace the tires since I'm going to sell the car within 2 years. I told them just to replace the 2 bad tires and they didn't seem happy with my decision. So again my wife is waiting for the car and 3+ hours later they finally finished installing the 2 tires!!!! I really think they were pissed because I didn't go for the $$$$ fix!! And I think they decided to make it tough on us (mainly my wife) to slow down the installation which should have take 30 minutes!!! I will never go back to that place!!!!!!! You've been warned!! read more

It's exactly the same with the oil changes. They have a bunch of young kids or mean guys that just don't give a s*** about helping out their customers by scourging. but then again this is cow country Lancaster so tire plus fits in just perfectly. useless zero. read more

Had to give one but really No STARS for this place. I took my car here just for struts and a tire alignment.! I had recently just got the brakes done on it somewhere else near by. After tire plus worked on my car the brake light came on. My brake fluid is full had new rotors pads everything so theres no reason for the light to be on. Then my car broke down i got a jump and it shut right back off not even 1 minute later. Took it back to the same place for a battery change and told them to look at my alternator. And they said they would give a discount since things didn't go right the first time. When we got the car back the battery light was on. How it on but you put in a new battery and said everything with alternator is fine no other problems. 1 day after that car wont turn on again. Come to find out they didnt even check the alternator just battery. And it was the alternator that needed to be replaced..... this place is terrible they are just scamming people for money all the way $1200 later and it was just the alternator.... DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!! read more

This business was a big help! My wife and I were in Lancaster for the day to see a show at The American Music Theater. We enjoyed the show and were waiting to get out of the lot and two men knocked on the window that we had a flat tire. We pulled into the mall next door and took a look. The tire was completely flat. We had a tire pump in the car that plugs into the lighter. I worked on inflating the tire while my wife called around and tried to find someone to look at it. It was almost five o'clock on a Saturday night and I knew it would be tough. She tried Walmart and they said they weren't taking anyone. They mentioned Pep Boys. They also said no. They told us about Tires Plus. We got in touch and they said that if we could get there before 6pm they would see what they could do. We arrived around 5:20. They brought the car right in. Turns out that there was a shard of metal in the tire. They patched it for us. Not only did they do this at the end of the day, they stayed late to help us. Even though they could have told us no, or just put the spare tire on, they took care of the issue so we could return home to New Jersey. Thank you Tires Plus! read more

Several weeks ago, Tires Plus at 875 Plaza Blvd, Lancaster, PA installed a new set of tires on our minivan. The manager was friendly and agreed to match a competitor's price on the tires. The difference was honored/reimbursed after I returned with a print of the pricing on the competitor's website. The manager and other staff answered my questions knowledgeably and patiently. I was fairly certain tires would need to be replaced, but requested to have them first diagnose the driving problems I had noted. Their mechanics also found that the rear rotors and brakes needed to be replaced. They checked and corrected alignment. They also replaced a failed bulb for the third brake light at no charge. Turnaround time was reasonable in my opinion and work was completed professionally. Thank you! read more

Trustworthy, honest, reliable, and they do good work! I almost always take my car here, but for convenience, took my car to another shop for my inspection. The other garage said I needed $3000 worth of work to pass inspection. However, Tires Plus inspected it and said it would take $498 and explained why. I will never take my car anywhere else! This Tires Plus is the absolute best!!!!! read more

came in to tire plus to check one tire, was told even with the insurance I bought for them it was going to cost over 140.00 dollars. they also said all of the remaining tires needed to be replaced soon. I spent over 2hrs waiting for them to tell me this. what a waste of time. never again will I ever by another tire form tire plus. the guy who was handling my car seemed to be more annoyed that I was asking about my car. taking my tire plus card and shredding it today. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I made an appointment on Friday to drop off my car for two new rear tiresome Monday. Unfortunately my son became ill and I called Monday morning to see if I could get an appointment. The gentleman, jack said 1030 would work. I show up at 1020, let them know I'll be at mall and made sure they had my phone number. I came back almost 2 hours later(how long I was told it would be), only to find out it just got started!! John wanted to argue with me about the drop off, since he took original appointment. I explained the situation and they finished my car(over 2 hours longer than quoted). Took my car home and then realized they replaced to wrong two tires!!! When I called to see what to do, John tells me I have to bring car in to see what happened!!! I was also told that I had to wait and that they wouldn't get me in right away. It's calling for 6-9 inches of snow tomorrow, so it was imperative I get it done today. Why do I need to come in? They knew my tire size, style yesterday! I bring car in and the manager wants to argue with me about whose fault it was. I want my old tires back! Nope, they're gone. After 4 calls to 800 number (no one ever called me back) and arguing about what should be done, I'm getting the LOWEST priced tires to replace my $200 performance tires. #poorservice #nomore #nocustomerservice #profitsoverpeople read more

My car was towed here as a recommendation from AAA after it wouldnt start up for me. When the tow truck arrived it did start up but i insisted we still take it so that it wouldnt happen again. I left it overnight and returned in the morning to get it after they said they found NO problems. After driving off the lot i took it to advance auto to have it looked at for a second opinion. - I myself am a female mechanic in the military and often dont mention this just to see how places try to rip people off. - This is when i noticed that there was a huge puddle under my car after smelling it realized it was water. I drove 10 minutes to my house and parked when i noticed then that the engine was smoking. - this car was just driven from Nevada to Pennslyvania with ZERO issues until i took it to this place. - You can make your assumptions. I called them and was told to bring the car back where after almost 2 hours i was told that my water pump was leaking and needed replacing which would cost me $1200. I refused service because this whole situation was bull and i believe they created an issue to get money out of me. I left the lot. Ordered a water pump for my 91 mercedes Benz online for $80 and had it installed that weekend for $100. Do not let this place cheat you out of your money. I most certainly do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Best Customer Service in the area. Super Friendly Staff that were attentive. They did what they said they were going to do. I had a blowout...had a full size spare. They ordered the new tire, kept my blown out tire, and mounted it before I arrived to have it installed to save time I would have had to wait. Top Notch Crew. I've had services performed at NTB (Harrisburg Pike) and Sears Auto (in the same parking lot) and the service was less to be desired, thus my reason to try a different place out. read more

this place is literal trash. The only dude who seems to know anything is Patt K. The rest of the staff is completely incompetent. We brought 2 wheels in to have them put new tires on, after over an hour and half of waiting they suddenly had issues with their computer which lasted for another 45 minutes. Then they just argued about whose fault it was. Just don't go here if you have anything planned because they will make you late or you'll miss it all together. Total time wasted by going to these folks: 2 hours and 15 minutes. read more

I recently posted a very negative review of Tires Plus. Within one day, I received a response on Yelp and after I emailed, it was less than another 24 hours later that the store manager was calling me. He and I spoke about what had gone wrong and he was extremely apologetic for how I had felt after leaving their shop. He far exceeded my expectations in making the situation right. I sincerely appreciate everything he did for me and will return to them for future service. read more
