NEVER COMING BACK. Just moved to the state and had to go get state inspection. This place was recommended and my Roomate with a newer more expensive car paid 50-60$ for the inspection. Day-of one of my wipers had the rubber come off, and supposedly a fog light was out? Even though it was fine the other day. ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED ON PARTS AND LABOR. 45$ PER WIPER (only one was bad), a bulb was 20$ and labor was 28$ for the bulb - 215$ for a state inspection, front windshield wiper, and bulb. Ask for your quote upfront - would have gone to Walmart or Costco to get the parts for under 30$ total... 110$ for two wipers and a bulb, plus 30$ for "labor"? Ridiculous. Never returning. Great place had to have my car towed to shop and first of all it was a night mare getting roadside service with my insurance because NO ONE WANTS to work anymore but finally after 8 hours my car was towed to CJ and mt spare was put on car and with many conversations throughout the day with Shaun and Jason they service my car with NO CHARGE... I had a great experience at CJ's. I took my husband's pick up in because he had a tire that was losing air. They noticed a second tire that was low, too. They checked both tires and found a screw in one and a nail in another. They were able to patch both tires for around $50. The wait was short and comfortable. The technician was friendly. I would use CJ's for future car troubles. read more

Honest ABE. Was here a few weeks ago to utilize a vehicle inspection coupon. The gentleman at the front (I assume the owner) was legitly the best guy I have ever dealt with in the industry in a long time! They didn't bs me with what I needed done and were honest to even not charge me as they didn't run the machine yet. All repairs were inexpensive and they even said it's cheaper here and here. WOW. I walked into CJ's over a year ago and continue to come back. They always go above and beyond for me. quick turn around, fair prices and sharing of manufacturer coupons. I ran over something in the road which caused my under sheathing to rip, the mechanic on duty removed it for me at no cost. In January I brought my car in because my steering wheel light came on. Since I drive a VW, unless there is a VW mechanic most shops can't help. Since Mario was unable to do what needed to be done he found a reputable colleague that could handle the job for me at another shop. He had my car towed, drove me to the other shop and asked them to provide me a loaner. I have never been disappointed with anyone or my service at this shop and would recommend them to everyone. I know nothing about cars. That's why I take it to someone else to get it fixed. I had always heard that garages do not like the "just-drop-in" customers. I know they get a lot of that so I thought I was being helpful to CJ's tire and automotive when I scheduled an inspection of my vehicle two weeks in advance. The appointment was for 9:00 or 10:00am. I don't remember fully, this was about four months ago. I returned home to wait because I believe it might take some time. I called them after 5 hours of waiting. They hadn't even gotten my car looked at yet. The employee told me they were busy. After 8 hours it was ready. The initial customer service from the employee who told me they were busy, was unprofessional. Clearly the shop was busy. That's why I made an appointment. I just couldn't believe that even with a scheduled time, CJ's automotive couldn't get my vehicle done in sufficient enough time and ignored the inconvenience it created. The employee who cashed me out was polite and authentic. I was satisfied with the work done to my vehicle and the price, but really was astonished how long it took. Is this just the potential problem any auto garage faces? Due to the walk-ins cutting into scheduled appointments? I don't know. I just don't think it was handled appropriately. I will be back, but I will simply do it as a walk-in, and just drop my car off. That's how you get results from these guys. read more

Terrible experience. I was told the nail in my tire was "too close to the side" to plug. They asked me to buy a new tire and I said no thanks. I went to Penn Tire Exchange where i had the nail removed and the tire plugged in less than ten minutes. They charged me under twenty dollars. Called today after the phone ringing over 10 times the manager had an attitude made me call back with the tire size even after I told him my car model he said he didn't have the tire if I could go the next day around 9:30 I said yes and after a long wait he said I had to go at 10:30 when.i said I could not because I had to be at work I said ok fine and hung up. I took our family vehicle in for tires after the dealership told me how bad they were. The manager was very knowledgeable and helpful thru every step of the selection process. I priced other tire shops and CJ's had some of the best out there. I took the managers recommendation on brand. It was no trouble to drop it off and go grab a bite to eat down the street while the work was being done. Came back about an hour later and it was done and less than expected. I was so pleased that the following week I brought my truck in for a state inspection. They have always worked around my schedule and I've never had to wait longer than expected although their lounge looks comfy if that's the route you take. I will definitely be back for my next set of tires on my truck in a few months and the ones on the family explorer are fantastic. They have done great in snow and are very quite on the road. Parked my car at work in the morning - perfect working order. Attempted to start after work - barely started, barely ran, very scary! Time was @ 545pm (they close at 6). Told them what was wrong. Asked politely if I could get someone to look at it that night...manager told me to come in. Took 35 min for a 10 min drive! When I got there, manager and a tech were waiting patiently. Popped my hood and found out some damn rodent had ate my entire wiring harness straight through! My car is precious to me, and they understood - they parked my baby inside for the night! Was told it could take some time to get the harness fixed (days?), but these guys had my car ready for me @ 48 hours later! Since then, I have gotten a lot of work plus tires from them.
