Wayne is very knowledgeable about all cars, especially European cars. He's helped me out multiple times on BMW and Mercedes on issues other shops couldn't. read more

Wayne helped me out with getting my out of state vehicle registered and inspected- super informative.

Really good experience here for a PA inspection. My interactions with the owner were excellent. He went over areas of my car to keep an eye on for issues in the future, but were okay for the time being. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I appreciated the extra time he took and for working me in the shop's schedule. read more

Impressed with the service, one of the best places around for oil changes etc. They went above and beyond, not only changing my oil but greasing the zirks on the tie rods and ball joints of my truck while it was up in the air. They also recently plugged a tire for me on the spot with no notice. Superb and proactive service! What more could one ask for? read more

Wayne is fast, efficient, and knows what he is doing. He is a hundred times faster than Jiffy Lube, We went in for an oil change and he also diagnosed and fixed what was wrong with a tail light nobody else could figure out. We just left there and Mr. Taylor couldn't wait to review this place! read more

Called to make an appointment, and told me to come thru next week. I called again for confirmation & he was unable to honor my appointment. Horrible customer service. read more

We made an appointment for 9:30 AM on a Wednesday and after arriving and waiting until 10:15 no one showed up. We called and did not receive a response. We wasted almost an hour throughout this whole time and never received a call explaining why our appointment was not met. read more

Just had my car repaired. Still had a grinding noise when braking and driving. PA Auto Service was close so I gave it a try. Am I glad I did. Diagnosed the problem in minutes. Repaired it successfully that day. Price extremely reasonable. Staff was professional, courteous and friendly. Highly recommend. read more

I'm writing this review and it's about 8 years overdue. My husband and I have been taking our cars to Wayne ever since we have been in the area. This is a first class establishment and you will get treated like gold. Wayne treats his customers like family and he always gets the job done. He is the most honest mechanic I know and we will continue to use his services forever. Prices are great and staff is wonderful also. Give this local business a try, you won't be sorry. Always support small local businesses. Wayne thanks for all you do. read more

I've used this car service here to do pre-buy check up on a car from local car dealership. I am highly impressed and totally satisfied with service. The owner of shop is honest sincere and knowledgeable. read more

Great service and reasonable prices. I started going there a few years ago when my car died just as I reached home. I had it towed to PA Auto Service because it was close. I thought there was something horribly (read expensively) wrong. Visions of hundreds of dollars in repairs. Turned out to be something simple and the total was about $50. Wayne could have charged me a lot more and I wouldn't have know since I was already braced. Then and there, they became my guys for all things auto repair related. read more

I had been trying to find a mechanic for a weeks. I Googled the most honest mechanic in the area and Wayne's shop at the top of the list. I gave him a call he told me to come right there. He actually gave me a ride back to where I was staying and not I only did he squeeze me in between all his other appointments, he fixed my ENTIRE car to where it passed Inspection/Emission. But wait, there's more. He did all this for a price that was $ hundreds $ less then what I was going to give him up front just to get it started. Wayne and his guys gave me my car back a day before it was supposed to be done and made sure I was able to prove , in court , that my car is totally legal, legit, and safe for my 2 year old to ride in. Thank you so much guys you really have over and beyond. And I agree with Google / Yelp #1 on the list for honesty & prices... read more

Wayne and his mechanics at PA Auto are the best around. They'll figure out what is wrong, clearly explain it and fix it once and done! Reasonably priced. read more

Met the owner dropping off my vehicle for an inspection, he immediately put me at ease. Being new to the area, I took a gamble on the closest place to where I live. The gamble paid off. Great work, great service, great price. I'm used to waiting until the end of the day to get the call about my vehicle, these guys had it out at lunch. Brilliant. I will be back and I'll make sure everyone I talk to knows how great these guys are. read more

I brought my 98 Volvo in with a check engine light and Wayne was able to investigate and set the Volvo straight the very same day. Though I did exchange words with Wayne's administrator, Shirley, in which I walked out over the amount due, telling her I would never return, I later realized Wayne had given the car a great deal of his time and I had left out vital pieces of information that would've made his job faster. I would definitely come back, but doubt Shirley would allow it. read more

They squeezed me in for an oil change on a Friday afternoon when they were busy. And they give a discount if you pay with cash which is awesome. I think mine was $30 for a Honda CRV. quick and efficient workers! read more

I was very impressed with this business. I stopped here frantically today when the air in my tires was very low. The air machine at the Turkey Hill down the street was acting quirky, so I stopped in at PA Auto Service because I work right down the street. The owner and employees could not have been nicer or more helpful. They have definitely earned themselves a new customer. Thanks so much! read more

Beware of this shop. Ripping people off and replace unnecessary parts. Price are much higher than local mom and pop shop.

I went there for a simple inspection Price was higher than other local places but I got the job done right away..that was the plus Place could use a new office person as the person there didn't know what the heck she was talking about when it comes to automobiles at all. I didnt talk back as I could tell she was used to 'lording over people and had an obnoxious 'attitude Thing is....cars are second nature to me as I tore down and rebulit my first engine at 16 and Im an old man now. You just can't bullshit me into services that I do not need or are unnecessary.. Im going to keep looking..you should to read more

I originally brought my car to be inspected at another garage, where they were trying to rip me off for parts that I do not need to get an inspection(All new rotors and brakes). I am pretty car savvy, so I knew that I did not need the services they were saying was faulty. I recently changed the brakes 5 months ago. I went into PA Auto Service to schedule an inspection for a later date. Wayne said "How much time do you have?" He inspected my car on the spot!!! Talk about service! After reviewing the items that the other place said were faulty, he confirmed that they were not. Wayne provided great service. I recommend this establishment. read more

I recently purchased a 12 year old Ford Taurus for My son to use at College, which is 300 miles away. My son limped home this spring with the check engine light on and multiple misfires . The staff at Pa auto checked over the entire car and repaired the problem (spark plugs and wires ). They also identified other issues which should be addressed in the future ( rear brakes, E-brake cable). Necessary repairs were performed quickly, affordably, and the car has been driven 800+ miles over the last month with no problems. I plan to return to have other work done. Communication from the shop was good, and service was great read more

Wayne is a great guy! I walked in on a Friday afternoon with smoke coming out of my front wheel, I explained I was from 40 miles away and had just dropped my wife at the doctor and asked if he could look at my Jeep. Without hesitation Wayne took my information, ordered the parts and told me to take his car to pick up my wife as it was unsafe to drive the Jeep. My brake caliper had given up and locked the brakes. Wayne and his mechanic had it fixed in 20 minutes, no lie, and cleaned off the inside of the wheel for me, to get the brake dust and grime out. He performed the best caliper replacement I have ever seen from a garage. He cleaned the slide and ground off the rust, put anti seize on it, replaced the brake line at the wheel and the new caliper, checked the brake pads and rotor, sanded the pads to get the extra dirt and brake dust off. They bled out the old brake fluid because it looked old, replaced it with new and made sure there was no air in the lines. And I must mention he had three other brake jobs and other work ahead of me also! And their lunch was on the table in the office, still in the bag. I highly recommend this garage for A-Plus work and great customer service!! I would drive 40 miles again for this kind of service!! Thanks again Wayne for helping me out of a bind!! read more
