Both Alex and Herbie, the two guys up front, were very kind and professional. Vehicle was done on time; oil and filter change, tire rotation, and inspection. Very good experience. read more

Well, I finally figured it out... A year ago I bought new tires here; expensive Pirelli tires... Ever since, my alignment has been off. They redid the alignment with no improvement. Last week it struck me the tires looked a little underinflated. Since the new tires are a touch smaller than the OEM original tires I researched what they should be inflated to and came up with 36-38PSI. Well, I discovered they were ALL at 29PSI. A real head scratcher. So, I inflated them to 38PSI, and lo and behold, the car no longer pulls to the right. And it rides a lot better. In addition, if you go back to my original review here a year ago, you'll see they charged me for new TPMS. Well, the TPMS has never functioned since then, and discovering all the tires were way underinflated makes me wonder even more what they did. And Willow Street Mavis is that much worse... read more

I want to say how great this visit was . I went in with tire in my f250sd tire . I didn't want to drive too much figuring it would go flat . Walked in asked about making an appointment to fix . Manager on counter asked " do you have a little time to wait". So I did about 45 minutes later tire was plugged balanced and I was rolling . While checked tires brakes and battery as well ( I travel with a camper) . Thank you gentleman for putting this travelers mind at ease . read more

I'd give it zero stars but figured I'd be polite with one. We used the Mavis in Willow Street Pa for a front end alignment and tire rotation. Three hours later they were done. We don't live far so didn't drive it much the first day. The second day we drove it and it was horrible. It pulls to the right majorly. This was never a problem before this service. My husband took car back this morning and was told well you need new this and new this and new that. My husband is a car guy and knows what is broke and what's not. They never once looked at the alignment. God forbid they would look to see if it was there mistake. We will take it somewhere else for an honest stand behind your work alignment. I think we deserve a full refund and I will make sure to let everyone I know not to use this place and that's a lot of people. read more

On my way home from work I ended up with a bolt in my tire and needless to say went flat quickly I was just going to replace all 4. I had to work so my wife took care of the phone calls. They call her and told her the struts were leaking in the front and had to be replaced or the warranty wouldn't be valid. She told Gavin to wait 10 minutes until she talks to me before they do anything. She called me at work and told me what the said. I said ok, they can just do the rear, since that's where my flat was, so warranty is still good, and I'll have my garage do the front. She calls them tells them not to do the front, but they already did them without authorization! Then wanted to charge for removing them! So we were stuck. BTW, we went immediately to our garage, and the struts were perfectly OK. So they lied as well! Talked to the manager and he only wanted to give us a 150 store credit! No thanks. Don't trust this place! I don"t! read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Mavis Discount Tire. I went in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, and the manager, Gavin, showed me worn brakes and recommended replacing them. I specifically asked for a total estimate for *everything*, and he quoted me $577 (plus the oil change), which I agreed to. After waiting over 3 hours, I was told the work was complete--but I was charged $1,376.78, more than double the quoted price. When I questioned this, Gavin claimed the $577 was "per axle," which was never clearly stated, and he could not produce the original written estimate he showed me. I escalated the issue to management, but instead of honoring the original quote, I was offered a partial refund or told I could bring my car back to have old parts reinstalled--both unreasonable solutions after the time and inconvenience already caused. There is way more to this review but I won't allow me to post the entire thing so I had to have it summarized. read more

If you make a reservation be sure to add on three hour to when they actually work on your car. I made a reservation at ten am to get my car looked at and my car wasn't even looked at for two and a half hours. I left early because I had work later, hence why I got a reservation. read more

I brought my SUV to Mavis today for 3 tires. My husband and I were there on Sunday and received 1 tire at that time. Sunday's appointment was longer than we would have thought. Today's appointment was SOOOOO long! It should not take 4 hours for 3 tires. My appointment was 10:30. Didn't get a call until 2 that it was done. It makes no sense at all. The only saving grace is that the coworkers that we dealt with were pretty nice, otherwise, it's not efficient at all. They had quoted us a price with an alignment. Today, I had to pay a separate fee for an alignment. It should be included when changing out 4 tires or presented differently by coworkers. It seems like they're massively short staffed like a lot of places. I think if the current crew can't handle having as many vehicles scheduled at one time, then an appointment should NOT be made! We were not the only people who had to wait for a long time either. read more

When I arrived there was no waiting. They took my rim and installed and balanced the tire while I waited. in 15 minutes they had it ready for me. Chris and the crew did such a good job that when I remounted the wheel on the car, the ride was smooth and steady handling. It would have cost me a day and more money anywhere else. read more

Mavis Discount Tire - Driver side front tire needed a repair - Tires Near Me - Willow Street, Pennsylvania

Went to Mavis Discount Tire in Willow Street for an alignment because my mechanic unfortunately does not have the equipment for alignments. I asked them to call me when it was done and never received a call. I went back after an hour and I was told that they were unable to finish the alignment because my driver's side tire was "seizing". They told me I needed a $450 repair to replace the Inner and Outer Rod Ends on my driver's side tire. I told them that I wanted to take the car to my mechanic because something seemed off with not only the price but what their "diagnosis" was. I explained what they told me to my mechanic and he was very confused about the term "seizing". When he looked at my car, he found absolutely nothing wrong with the driver's side, not even rust. I took my car to get aligned elsewhere, at the recommendation of my mechanic and for cheaper, successfully. I normally do not share my opinions online but I wanted caution anyone that is uncertain in this area. I do not know if it is inexperience or if they were truly trying to con me. But I am very grateful I did not waste anymore money at this company. read more

We recently experienced a flat tire while driving to our workplace. The tire went completely flat as we arrived at work. We could hear the air flowing from the tire while we attempted to fill it. Once filled we quickly drove to Mavis in Willow Street Obviously we did not have an appointment. They are new to the area and already very busy, likely because of their excellent service. They were not able too get to our work truck until late in the day. When we went to pick it up the next morning, the Manager, Kayla, surprised us by telling us the service was complementary, because we had to wait, and were without our work truck.. We were shocked! This level of commitment too customer service these days is rare indeed. A heart felt THANK YOU! to Kayla and her team. read more
