Kingdom not even close , i sat and waited for them to open and when they did they told me they couldn't change a tire on the front of my box truck because they don't have a lugg to take the nuts off, lol I take it to Boulevard tire on baseline they did it in 15 min and never cried. Spoke with Tom and he was extremely disrespectful. Overheard him on the phone with a customer when he became loud and hostile then he hung up on them while they were still talking! He gave me major attitude after that too. I talked to one of the guys in the shop and he said they can't keep anyone employeed because Tom is such a horror to work with. I see why. Not sure why Tom is still employed. Why would you want someone like that representing your company? I will never return to this location or any other Mavis store as long as people like that are employed. read more

Long time customer of Tire Kingdom but recently moved up to this area. I was pleased I could make an appointment for the next morning when I logged in on the website. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I knew I needed tires so it came as no surprise when they recommended that. I also went ahead and got an oil change as long as I was there and needed new wiper blades. The cost was about what I expected and was a fair price. The store manager, Walt, dealt with the customers in a professional manner. And even though he was very busy he took a few minutes out to talk with a gentleman who had just lost his job and had come in looking for employment, writing down some information for him to help him to apply for a job (it's almost Christmas ). A kind gesture while being a busy person. Those things make a difference in where I do business and I will definitely return should I need any further work. read more

Terrible Service!!! For this what they did with me, the City have to close this business! i dropped off my car in this service for simple alignment! They complete the job, I picked up the car, looks like everything was done the right way. Couple of days later I lifted up the car because I finished up the fog light project and reinstalled the bottom engine shield, anyway I was shocked because they left my steering boots totally twisted!! Which is shortened the boots lifetime to couple months! I straightened back myself! Than few weeks ago I heard knocking sound from my passenger side front suspension, but token some time to realize where the noise coming from. Now I removed the front wheel and I checked all the bolts on the front suspension and they left loose the front lower control arm inner bolt which is part of the alignment process. If I don't check it, one point in the future, the whole front suspension fly away with the wheel. I don't know which makes me more mad, #1 they risk my and others life on the road, for couple hundred dollars extra, hoping I will come back with the new issue, or #2 they think I'm totally idiot! Now I have to find a new place for alignment, and pay again someone else, because that bolt adjustable and not enough just tightened down in any position! read more

I went to Tire Kingdom to have the transmission filter and pan gasket replaced on my SUV. Something that is a very easy and straightforward endeavor on my particular vehicle. I even went through the hassle of sourcing out the parts which can be a bit of an issue these days. I was told by the service writer that you should not service a transmission with over 100,000 miles on it and I promptly walked out. BIG red flag! I am a retired mechanic of almost 20 years and cannot do certain work to do having a bad back. I was appalled at hearing this misinformation and immediately decided that I would not do business with Tire Kingdom again. I will also be informing all family and friends to avoid such a place that lacks any real automotive repair knowledge and provides such incorrect information. 8/28/23 - Ladies do not go to this place alone. My gf went in to get 2 tires and was told by the General manager that she HAS to get 4 tires because she has a 4x4, rather this is true or not that should be the customer's decision on how many tires they want on their vehicle. So I go talk to this guy to ask to see tire kingdom policy about this bs statement he just told us and I get no information. This is just mind blowing that the General Manger would try and up-sale us like that. Moral of the story this location is horrible!!! read more

Yes, the job could have been completed without me having to tell them that the technician did not do his job. Tire Kingdom advertises that on a Full-Synthetic Valvoline 5/20 Oil Change that certain items would accompany changing the oil. Free tire rotation, multi-point inspection and more was not done until I pointed out the tech failed to do these things. The ONLY thing the tech did was to quickly change the oil and filter and then drive vehicle to the front door. When I questioned the staff about items not done, they copped an attitude and had the tech go back and complete the things that were not done. I have been a tire kingdom customer for years, but I am reconsidering coming back. This particular store did not offer coffee or tv viewing and was dirty. I guess they are trying to cut costs. I would think that this always results in customer's going elsewhere for service and the business failing. Tire Kingdom use to be a place that cared for the customer and provided excellent service; however, this seems to be a thing of the past. So, Sad!!! read more

1st experience: Came to do alignment,bill came $250 something,I was gonna pay around $100 for one time alignment,the guy said oh it's better $250 it's for 5 years he didn't even bother ask me what program I want,fine I don't want to argue,paid $250 for 5 years program. 2nd experience: Bought 4 tires cuz my tires are bad,come with warranty and free tire rotation. 3rd experience: This was the worst,Iam never back coming this location again! I came to do alignment and tire rotation since I just put coil over on my car,manager told me $200 to adjust the high on all 4 suspension, I said no it's fine then we d had deal for $100 ( end up $140 ). So they said they can't do fully alignment since I have bent sub frame,ok fine,I asked if they raided the suspensions,they said yes,which I don't believe cuz it's still the same high and I was watching the whole time that they never took off the wheel to raised the suspensions,and they didn't do tire rotation that I asked also,I know because I know where all the tire are due to some scrathes on every wheel. I paid them,just good enough for me to know how bad they are and to post this here,so no other people will experience this. read more

I arrived on time and waited over twenty minutes to be served at which point I was told that I had no appointment and that they couldn't get me in today even after showing them my confirmation and letting them know I had taken a vacation day in part to get this done. Recently had my tires replaced at this location. No choice given for warranty extension/road hazzard/service plan upon invoice write up. Added without asking. I did keep it as written up. Ordered tires I wanted via phone and they arrived quickly. Shop is very clean, my car got tlc through whole process. They have very nice lifts that do not damage vehicle. 4 star vs 5 due to not asking if I wanted extra monetary costs. Good work by techs. read more

I get there and the guy says I have no appointment, that maybe I made it at another location... so I rang the number I called and when he answered the phone I told him it's me, this is the number I called and I'm positive I made an appointment, then he says well I wasn't here so the other guy must've not written it down , and they had someone else scheduled... and no I didn't get any service ! read more

These people are absolute thieves so be sure to steer clear of this place and especially Charlie. They ripped me off for $3400 for a head job and didn't even do it properly and then when I took it back because of leaking oil Charlie refused to honor the warranty and kicked me out of the store. Charlie is routinely disrespectful to customers and made comments toward me that were disparaging and made me feel like he was making fun of me. I believe that they are guilty of grand larceny on a person over the age of 65 because what they told me was not true and so they elicited me to come in and have the work done even though I was planning to sell the car and then when the work was done they left me with a big bill and an unsalable car. Even though the mechanic seemed good at his job they did not complete the job and they broke other parts of the car while doing the job. Their so-called 12 month warranty on mechanical work is worthless they do not honor it. Don't go there not for tires not for an oil change not for anything the place is badly managed and you wait hours for the simplest thing, and then the simplest thing will turn into a big bill somehow. Absolute thieves. Watch out for Charlie especially. They convinced me they could do my head job for $2000 and after 4 months it came back $3400. Never called, never told me it needed more. I don't have a lot of money so I had to finance it. They returned it to me incomplete. They did something to the gas gauge so it doesn't work now, and they forgot to connect a vacuum hose causing it to run rough. After 100 miles I began to notice oil on the garage floor. I was told the warranty was 12 months. Charlie said "It needs a new head" and refused to honor the warranty. In his talking he admitted that they did NOT send the head out to be retrued (planed) which means they did the job half-assed and now it's leaking some oil and they're not going to honor the warranty. Charlie was also inappropriate with me when I was trying to buy tires. He wrote up a quote for $1100 for some 17 inch tires and didn't have them there to install. When I turned it down he turned to his co-worker and said "He looks like someone spit in his soup"...making fun of me. My need was immediate, so I went up the road and bought them at Pep Boys for $600. Do not go to these clowns for anything! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOK SCAM ARTISTS WHO SIT AND FEED YOU A BUNCH OF CRAP JUST TO UP-SELL YOU, NOT TO MENTION THE UNPROFESSIONAL ACTIONS DISPLAYED IN THE WORK PLACE. VERY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR! We had a nail in the tire, that needed replaced. They found "another" one that I suspect was put there purposely to make more money on another tire. The vehicle was at Volkswagen just minutes prior and underwent a full inspection, with no feedback on two tires that needed replaced. Once the tires were removed, the tech started yanking on suspension pieces and conducting a full vehicle inspection. We didn't ask for that. The tech further stated that the vehicle had major issues, to include a leaking CV axle and loose tie rod ends. We told them they are full of crap and left. Took the vehicle back to Volkswagen who said there is absolutely nothing wrong. They informed us that multiple consumers have visited Volkswagen after stopping at Tire Kingdom and have had the same experience. The management at this location needs to be charged with fraud and fired immediately. The whole crew needs to go. They are a joke of a business and should have their license revoked by the city. read more

Worst tire experience ever. Manager would not install tires on my classic vehicle and could/would not provide any written guidance or rational explanation why. I agreed to just purchase the tires outright He initially refused to honor the military discount specified on the website saying it does not apply to "cash and carry tire sales", again without any documentation/proof of that policy. He finally acquiesced on that, but then he charged me the $13 fee for tire disposal even though I was not leaving any tires for disposal, again in contradiction to the website. Throughout the entire transaction he was condescending, insulting and arrogant. I told him I would eat the $13 but that he really should look on the company's website that says otherwise. He continued verbally abusing me and finally told me to "take it or leave it".... so I left it. That angered him further as he had to credit back my payment. He literally followed me out the door to my car berating me the entire way!. I felt somewhat threatened physically. I am a 62 year old disabled military veteran. He actually told me he was doing me a tremendous favor by selling me the tires and complained about the company's unreliable website and having to work until midnight the previous night, as though it were my fault or made any difference to my transaction. He also informed me that he and the other attendant "work for a living", I guess as a dig on retired people, and that a "real car guy would have jacks and stands and equipment to do this sort of thing at home". There is more, but I was so flabbergasted I can't recall every detail and every outrageous thing he said. I would not have taken the tires from that man even if they were free! I have never experienced such horrendous treatment in a retail establishment in my life. Unprofessional is putting it mildly. read more

On memorial weekend I had seen the ad for the memorial day sale, so I went in that Saturday morning. There were only three of the tires I was looking for that were a lower price with a higher load rating and longer warranty. So I settled for the higher priced ones with the lower rating and shorter warranty. They said they are pretty busy because of the sale and wouldn't install that day. She then asked me to schedule an appointment for Tuesday while still getting the sale price, since I came in the weekend that it was happening. I arrived on time for my appointment on Tuesday morning, and was told that I will not get the sale price I was quoted and had a print out for on Saturday. I understand that there are some things you cannot push through the computer even though someone else made a mistake that ultimately cost me a couple hundred dollars. So I worked with the manager with ease and he brought the price down some, While still giving up some of the perks I would have gotten with the holiday sale price. I had the tires installed and as soon as I left, the TPMS in my truck went off, and all 4 tires only had 16 psi by the time I got home. I filled up the tires to the appropriate level that evening at home, and they were all flat by morning. So, I had to fill my tires up with enough air to get me back to tire Kingdom this and take a day off work (losing my day of pay) to get the problem resolved. They fixed it and told me that the TPMS they installed were the wrong ones to match my vehicle. They installed the correct ones free of charge while I waited between their other customers. An hour after I left the store, the TPMS sensor still remained activated on my dashboard. I'm not sure why it is on at this point, but I know that I will have to waste more time and another days pay to return to have it fixed. Further more, they did not put the center caps for the wheels back on tight, and one came off while I was driving. Not only am I upset with that, I am also worried and hope that it didn't come off in a manner that hurt someone or caused damage. I don't appreciate having to go back to the same place four times as well as am highly upset that it will ultimately cost me several hundred dollars. That's all between having a printed copy of the price I was scheduled for, the parts that came off my vehicle that weren't secured right and the amount of time I have to takeoff to get these things fixed so that I can make it to work at all. read more

Driving from alabama to Ocala with a horse trailer started having major issues on 75 south, the truck was unbalanced and shaking. After dropping the trailer I came in the afternoon. Shocks and tires needed replaced. I had to get the trailer hooked back up to haul the horse further . The staff stayed late to replace it all, excellent customer service . Truly thankful ! read more
