They were amazing! I was traveling through town & my check engine light turned on (I had gotten an oil change at a different vendor in South FL the morning before). They triple checked everything for me & fixed it. Treated me like a local instead of a traveler & gave me peace of mind to continue my trip back home. So thankful for Kora & Baily!! read more

I had an oil change performed at the Take 5 location at 6225 SW State Road 200 in Ocala before a long-distance drive. I specifically asked the attendant to make sure the oil filter assembly was secure, and I was told it would be double-checked. About 300 miles later, I stopped and found oil sprayed all over the underside of my car, with the vehicle smoking from oil burning on hot components. I brought the car to another Take 5 location in Quincy, where a technician inspected it and identified the problem: the oil filter housing cover drain plug had not been reinstalled during the Ocala service. Because of this, I had to stop my trip, get a hotel for the night, pay for a replacement part, and wait for the repair before I could safely continue driving. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked them to double-check the oil filter area before I left. I have photos, receipts, and documentation from the second Take 5 location confirming what was missing, and I am pursuing reimbursement through Take 5 corporate. Leaving a required oil-system component off after an oil change is an extremely serious mistake. I'm very fortunate I stopped when I did and noticed the leak before potentially causing major engine damage. read more

First time yesterday using Take 5 Oil Change. As I got in line for service I was greeted and offered a bottle of cold water. Javier handled the whole process with a couple of folks working with him. He explained everything. I couldn't have been happier. I will definitely use them again. read more

1st time using them. They were quick is the price was good. They forgot to reattach 2 buttons on the plastic guard and or they might've even popped out after they thought they had pushed them in. When I got home, I gave them a call and the dude came out in 15 minutes and fixed it. There competent, will use again. read more

Visiting from South Florida and needed a quick oil change. Welcomed with a smile and cold water as soon as I pulled up. Service was quick and they walked us through everything. Prices are explained and shown on there computer right in front of you. The workers are so kind and pleasant. 100/10 recommend and will be the only place I go for an oil change now read more

Quick and thorough, thanks! Will go again- no wait , same as the other places that take two hours.

I took my VW Atlas in for an oil change as I have used them many times before. First of all they didn't have my wiper blades that fit and I had to go to Reilly for new blades which cost me $36 more dollars . 2 days later I noticed my light coming on for water. I was told that everything would be topped off!!! My husband checked everything and discovered the wiper blade liquid was very low and the water cap was missing!!!!!!!! I was very upset and so was my husband... that I felt being taken the advantage of because I am a woman! So now I have to order the caps that were left off! I am not happy and plan to find another place to have my oil changed! I paid $103.00 and now have to pay for replacement caps! Shame on you TAKE 5!!! read more

Greeted with a bottle of chilled water. Manager and technician were polite and knowledgeable. A BIG PLUS is that they did not try to upsell me or try to sell me services or items I didn't need. Price was reasonable, job was thorough. I'm only in Florida for half the year, but I won't be going anywhere else for an oil change. read more

We love getting the oil changed here, they are very fast and friendly. They offer complimentary bottles of water and a generous military discount. Highly recommend! read more

Took a Nissan Maxima 2018 to a shop in Tallassahee Florida, 6541 Thomasville Road for an oil change. Had to take it back for them to add oil. Whatever they did they did it incorrectly and caused the car to leak oil which caused the engine to seize. $11,000.00 later we had to get a new engine. That engine was good for 350,000 miles. Called the shop spoke and sent all information to the manager, Lewis Mclein. He stated that he would make things right and refund me my money. After a month of going back and forth, he told me he wouldn't be able to do anything. I sent certified letters to corp and to their legal department and have not heard back from them. I have emailed and no response. This is how a million dollar company operates? They are HORRIBLE........... Unprofessional........Disrespectful to their customers......No AccountabiliTy...... read more

I have used Take 5 before and received good service. Stopped by today and was told they could not change the oil in my car because it was too new and they didn't have the information needed. My car is a 2025 and was released by Kia over a year ago. The model has been available to buy since Sept. 2024. I showed them the information in the manual amd they said they still couldn't change the oil. So I left. I called the company to double check the information I was given and I chose the option to speak to a petson. Instead the automated system sent me directly to a survey about how the agent helped me. But I never got to speak to an agent. I called back 3 times and chose different options each time. Each time it went straight back to the survey. Seriously.....do better Take 5. read more

This has been the best Take 5 I have been to! they are fast and the services performed are done with quality. The deals they have offer plenty of value and are priced well. The service requested was oil and filter change and it was done efficiently. The employees are polite and considerate. I recommend them 100%! read more

We made the mistake of getting our oil changed at Walmart and ended up having it gush out when we were out the next day. We were lucky enough to be walking distance to Take 5. The employees were caring and knowledgeable and gave us water and showed us how the drain plug had fallen out and helped us take pictures to file a report. Excellent service read more

Service was absolutely amazing! My cabin air filter is a pain to get to and it desperately needed to get changed and Dalton did an excellent job. He was incredibly patient with the uncooperative plastic. There was a bunch of playful banter between coworkers which was refreshing to see in a work place. I will 100% be coming back! read more

Very attentive and thorough. Good value for everything they do. If you need a good quick oil change this is the place to go and you never have to leave your car. read more

I needed an oil change really bad in my Toyota RAV4. So I pulled into Take 5 and got oil change. The guys were friendly and knew there stuff. They did a fast job and really quick. It is really tricky pulling into the place but you won't be disappointed. They are great! read more

This is my favorite take 5 oil change location; It is a new location . The staff are honest , knowledgeable and friendly ! Thank you!

I had a complete oil change on my 2021 Jeep. I now needed a second oil change. I went back to Take 5 but they were to busy and I didn't have time to wait so I decided to do it myself. I bought the oil and filter and proceeded. Once I was under the car, I could see next to the oil plug the pan was cracked but not leaking. I tried to take the oil pan plug off with a regular wrench, but it was on so tight it wouldn't budge! I had to use a long extension, ratchet and had to use both hands to remove it! It being screwed on so tight is what caused the cracked pan. It's only supposed to be snugged 18-foot pounds max. Then when I removed the old oil there was over 7 quarts of oil when there should only have been 6 quarts. I took pictures and filed my complaint with Take 5. On 7/7/23 I received a call from the local Take 5 Oil Change in Inverness Fl. and basically, told me they are not going do an anything about it! read more

My wife and I took her car and my truck here a quite a few times. They were always fast and friendly. The last time I took my truck in a couple days later I found a couple large oil spots on my driveway. I jacked up my truck and found that the oil filter hadn't been properly tightened. Now I'm trying to get oil spots off my driveway. I guess I'm lucky I caught it when I did. read more

This place is a Godsend. The manager Michael and his crew are the best. I called Firestone and other companies in the area. The crew at Take 5 were the most professional, kind, empathetic, and honest people we had the immense pleasure of interacting with. We were driving through the state of Florida on our way back to Virginia. We needed to an immediate oil change while on the road, or we would've been stranded. I called Take 5, and they immediately answered all of my questions and got us in with no appointment. They charged $70 for an oil change and got us in and out in under 15 mins. They have late hours unlike their competitors and so efficient. Take 5 is A-1 in our book. read more

What a great place to get an oil change. John did a great job walking me thru every part of the visit. Found a slight issue with the drain plug (cross threaded) and swapped it out with an OEM replacement. My vehicle takes a little more oil than most (7 qrts) and they did not try to talk me up with an air filter or wiper blades. Free bottle of water was a nice touch. read more

I was put in a bay then waited 20 minutes while the manager an attendant flirted with a young lady in the other bay. After 20 minutes I told them to close my hood and I left. I had used them several times in the past without a problem. I will never go back!!!!! read more

I come in here every 5,000 miles almost religiously so these guys can do my oil change. Every time I'm there I always see John and Jeremy and both are fantastic. They never try to sell me on anything I don't need (air filters ect.) and if I need something they explain why it's need. They always explain what they're doing and why which to makes me feel better because I know what they are doing. I'm in and out in 10 minutes every visit. read more

This place is AWESOME! They were fast, friendly, efficient and didn't try to rip me off. I highly recommend them for your oil change needs!

The company cc machine was down and instead of letting me walk next door to the ATM they made me lose my place in line. They said no service with out payment however once I got the cash they did the service without taking the payment first. My first issue with them and I'm going to get over it read more

The men were fast and efficient. I will definitely be returning to this location. Special thanks to TJ and the crew

These guys are always amazing!! Can't beat the price with no wait and no pressure to buy the extra stuff. My last trip was 15 mins total!

In a word: Fantastic! This is my 2nd visit back (and I wish I'd written a review the first time, because they were just as amazing then - even accommodating me 5 minutes before close!). What brought - and will keep bringing - me back is: - The guys are super-friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable - There's a cold bottle of water on arrival, and juice for the kiddos - Efficiency ~ for a standard oil change, it's literally 5 minutes. 7 minutes tops, if you get to chatting w the cool staff :) - Competitive prices - They don't try to upsell. They will point out what is best for your vehicle, but they explain the rationale, and aren't pushy about it. Overall, my 2 experiences at the Ocala Take 5 have been exceptional, and I HIGHLY recommend their services. :) *Shoutout to Kevin, Daryl, and John for being awesome!!! Thanks guys!! read more

I arrived at 3:40 on Sunday afternoon. There was only 2 other cars there. The guy says the car ahead of you is the last car of the day because I have to clean the shop and be out by 4:00. It claims it's the fastest oil change hence name take 5. I would expect cleaning to be done after hours not turn customers away with 20 minutes before closing. read more

Went here to get my oil change with oil that I bought separately and they were very friendly and professional. One suggestion would be to bring your own oil and filter because they seem to use cheap conventional oil if you don't. I use AMSOIL in all of my families cars. But again they were really nice and friendly and a huge plus they let you sit in your car the entire time and you can watch them change the oil and filter. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Very quick service, I was in and out within 5 minutes. They offer a great military discount. I've seen John (SVT writer) there 3 times now and he is always in a good/positive mood.
