I've been to this location for service on two separate occasions, and on the second visit while doing the tire rotation, a technician noticed my truck (formerly a northern vehicle) had extensive rust on all the brake components. So, based on the equipment condition, both myself & the service personnel all agreed it was going to be a tough brake job to complete. But I have to say that both Christopher & Katelynn stepped up to complete the work, as it ultimately went into the second day due to a part that needed to be ordered, and in fact Christopher came in on his day off (Sunday) to finish it up, so I could leave town afterwards. $145 for just oil change on my 2019 ford F150 thats alot... the guy kept saying its franchise decision repeatedly. I left to find others. In Alabama was much cheaper than Fla. No wonder i can see why the rating so low as 2stars. There was no cars in there when I arrived. read more

The Manager said 3 quarts was $20, the workers charged me $30 they talked me out of a Groupon to give me %50 discount, and purposely didn't email receipt or give me a physical one, be careful these people will over charge you. read more

Ironically, my vehicle has NEVER had an oil leak until literally 4 days after visiting this Jiffy Lube when the oil pressure light began illuminating, & ultimately the low oil light a few days later! Upon inspection by JF employees, it is discovered that there is oil leaking through "the housing of the oil filter"! I am then informed that "this is very common on this vehicle", and os not related to the recent oil change, therefore not covered. "Perhaps we dislodged some dirt when changing the filter...". I have had the oil changed in this vehicle every 3-6,000 miles for 8 yrs! This is the SECOND time i have had an oil leak isse among my 5 vehicles after an oil change at this store! I just got home from getting an oil change, a special oil treatment, a part changed that controls oil distribution, and a tire rotation. I 55 years old and had the most amazing service that I have ever had anywhere. My car is a 2001 PT Cruiser, manual transmission and it's been really sluggish and just not running well. I am not exaggerating when I say that my car drives so much better now. Everyone who helped me was so nice, exceptionally nice. They were honest and knowledgeable and went above and beyond. I am a single mother of a boy with autism, and I truly value service like this. My life is full of challenges and hassles. It is well worth driving out of my way to be treated this way. I brought my daughter's car to Jiffy Lube in Ocala on College Rd and it was a pleasant and simple experience. I went on a Sunday so it wasn't crowded. I had the oil changed, tires rotated, coolant topped and a new air filter for a great price (had a $26 coupon from Google) and in a good time. Staff was all very friendly and professional. Went there for oil change and they were done they closed the hood on something they left under it and bent the hood !!! They four workers all pushed the hood down so i would not know they did anything wrong. When i got home i pooped open the hood and seen the damage that they did. disgrace!!! The hood is bent up in the back and sticks up about a good one inch and is not even on both sides. This afternoon going to a shop to see what if anything can be done!!! read more

My $125 Oil Change at Jiffy Lube in Ocala. I have never seen a set up like this. This place may be legal, apparently, but it's certainly not ethical, and if you're smart you'll stay the hell away from it. Customers are taken advantage of by customer reps who plus-sell options customers don't need, customers are shown only the most expensive options, and they may not get the product they think they are paying for. After the car is in the bay, the fun begins. A customer rep. shows you a series of computer screens and tries to plus-sell other options--many, many options. I was shown the $80 synthetic oil changes, but not the regular oil change for $30 I wanted and had to ask about it. They offered to change my air filter which I actually needed done, but it was $40. You can buy one at Wal-Mart for $9. They wanted to change my transmission fluid for some ungodly amount like $500. I was told my license plate lights were both out, a ticketable offense, which they would gladly replace for me--for a mere $8 per bulb. The coolant level was low, which I knew, and I was asked if I'd like them to top it off for $5, which I agreed to, but my temperature gauge was running hot after that, which happens when water is put in the radiator, not coolant. I checked it when i got home, and it looks watery, not green-yellow. So I paid $5 for the privilege of them putting water in my radiator, being misled that it was coolant, when I would have bought an entire container of 50/50 coolant for that and done it myself if I'd known. And the piece de resistance is I was told my tire treads were low at 5/32s of an inch and the tires needed replacing. However, I am fairly certain this is untrue since just purchased a full set of new Michelin tires 6 months ago, guaranteed for 40,000 miles, yet these honest, ethical, wise and compassionate captains of industry were telling me the tires were worn out. How could this be? Who looks at brand new tires and tells you they are completely bald? How much would they have charged me for a set of new tires I didn't need, I wonder. I understand that businesses like this exist because people value their time and will pay more for the convenience of being on their way faster, but this Jiffy Lube is run by flim-flam men and con-artists who take advantage of unsuspecting customers, and it's disgusting how they treat people. If you are savvy and know the prices of things, you can negotiate with these snakes for what you want, but how many old people from nearby retirement communities are clear-minded enough to do that? "Sure, lady, your new car needs the spark plugs replaced. That's only $50 apiece." This business is preying upon the unwary and the elderly, and it ought to be reported the to Better Business Bureau and the state Attorney General. Caveat Emptor. read more

Would have done 0 Star if it let me Have been going to Jiffy lube for years and I got to say that this is the worst one I have ever dealt with They acted like I was bothering them when I got a full synthetic change Put down that they had checked my air filter as I watched and they didn't Air in tires they didn't check but put down that it was good at 32lbs (Ram 2500 4x4) but they are at 70 where they should be Did not vacuum or clean the windows and charged me $125 Didn't reset the system If this was the first time at Jiffy lube it would have been the last Don't go here They will screw you read more

Very expensive. $25 to rotate tires on a subcompact sedan; $100 for less than 5 quarts of synthetic oil & oil filter. Lousy job washing windows; did not wash driver's side window. Did not verify recommended tire inflation; one tire inflated to 34 psi; 1 inflated to 33.5 psi; 2 inflated to 32 psi. Manufacturer recommendation on driver's side door jam is 30 psi front & rear. read more

The worst experience I have had with the jiffy. Did I went in for an alignment dismay told me I needed to have hopes put on for $1000 did. I did next day went back it wasn't correct. They told me it was tires I had them replaced. Now they tell me it's another $1300 to fix another piece. read more

Never been a big fan of Jiffy Lube, too many horror stories when I lived in Va, but I needed a tire rotation, these guys ( & lady ) did a fabulous job, my 06 Dodge Ram 1500 has factory wheels and lug nuts, not easy to remove they get stuck in the impact gun socket, having had experience with this dilemma I asked if I could offer a solution, they accepted then the job went quickly, some days even the pro's need a little help, any how, a fantastic experience, I hope they continue the good work, I will return, as a repeat customer read more

The supervisor laughed at me when I said I wanted basic oil for my oil change. When I asked him what was funny he stated that my vehicle recommended the $80 oil. I told him I could go to the dealership down the street for a cheaper oil change, and I insisted on the basic oil. He stated, "okay, it's your car". Absolutely terrible customer service and unethical business. Went in for an oil change -- I pulled up by the bay as directed and told the manager I needed an oil change. He wasn't very friendly, but told me that he'd meet me inside to go over exactly what I wanted (service, oil type). There was only one other person in the waiting room. After waiting for five minutes, I tried to talk to him again about the exact service I wanted and the cost, and he blew me off again. Finally, I walked out into the bay and told a worker that I wanted the synthetic blend and asked the cost but was interrupted. The manager walked over and told me to go back inside and we would go over the details. After trying 2-3 times now, I was ready to leave and looked out the window and saw the oil filter laying on a screen. They had already drained my oil and the manager walked in saying it would be $91 for an OIL CHANGE. I could've gone to the Ford dealership for cheaper. Terrible business and the manager didn't even give me the chance to leave because they drained my oil before telling me the price, which I tried to talk to him about 3 times. Also called Corporate and they weren't friendly either. They told me the best they could do was 50% off my next visit. $91 is ridiculous for an oil change... but I wasn't even given the chance to leave because they drained my oil before telling me the price.
