Came in with no appointment because of a slow tire air leak. Greeted pleasantly and my info was put in the system (this was my first time there). They had a tech available, and the leak was identified (industrial staple) and patched from the inside. Total time in the shop was about 30 minutes. Great customer service, as they explained the cause of the leak, and also that the tire was rebalanced after the patch was added. They also checked and brought the other tires to proper pressure. I'm genuinely shocked that this company operates the way it does and still manages to sleep at night. We dropped off our truck due to a misfiring issue, and at the time of drop-off, the check engine light was on. The shop performed a diagnostic scan and found one code, then provided an estimate of just over $1,500, assuring us that the issue would be resolved. When we picked up the truck and drove it home--just six miles away--we immediately noticed that the check engine light was still on, and the truck was barely accelerating. It was in worse condition than when we dropped it off. We immediately returned the truck to the shop. The shop told us the truck now had six different diagnostic codes and quoted us over $3,000 for additional repairs. They denied any responsibility and claimed the new issues must have occurred during our brief drive home and back--a total of about 10 minutes. The truck is now undrivable. While the staff may seem friendly at first, our experience shows a complete lack of accountability and care. I would strongly advise others to avoid this shop read more

They definitely charge enough with their pricing to fix any parts they might break or any labor they might have to revisit in the future so basically I think they charge you enough to do the job twice but besides that they are pretty normal. read more

If I could leave a lesser rating I would. This shop is a den of thieves simply preying on customers. They failed to fix my car at the cost of $1100. After diagnosing my car they fixed the issue, however in less than 24 hours the car was doing the same exact thing, all the lights came on just as before. I took the car back simply to have them charge me more for a job they didn't do right from the beginning. What kind of customer service is that. I have to pay for their incompetence? Yes, and they could careless about you as the customer. This shop is a den of thieves and their mechanics are glorified oil changers. If you need actual work done take your car somewhere else. They don't work with you they just keep charging you for their mistakes and lack of knowledge. The old man that sits in the lobby is the head jackass and he lacks all manner of decency. Don't be fooled by the home town feel they like to give off. This shop is horrible. The Google reviews don't reflect the BBB reviews. Go to the BBB look this shop up not a single review was higher than 1 star. They can't manipulate those reviews like they can Google reviews. Look at the Google reviews left by previous employees see what they have to say from an inside perspective. They agree these guys are crooks. They sold me a damaged tire and refused to put a new one on. I left my car to get a tire change and oil change. Didn't ask what oil I wanted they just put whatever high priced oil. I left my car around 8am, came back around 5:20pm after work to pick it up, and as soon as i drove off the lot, the tire pressure was low from the tire they replaced. They close at 5:30pm so I had to wait until the next morning to go back. Mind you... i went STRAIGHT home when I picked it up. I went the next morning around 7:50am so they can put air in my tire and they noticed the same tire they replaced scrubbed off. The letters were off of the tire in different locations like if someone shaved off the first layer of the tire in those spots. Mind you... again... I left my car there the whole day and went straight home when I picked it up. They blamed me for the issue and said i must've hit my tire on something or someone hit my tire which never happened. My rims and car are perfectly fine it's literally JUST the tire. I payed almost 350 in total. All they did was blame me for the issue. 0 stars if possible. Took retired parent's car in for minor steering vibration --- pretty certain it would be a simple wheel balance. Owner came back, told me it needed two new tires, gave me a price. I told him it was high, no drama, but high. He had a no-name second option, but still higher than market. Thanked him but said no, let me just get the car back. 20 minutes later, it was "ready" and I was charged for "inspection". No description of the "inspection", so I asked. The charge was to tell me the tires were bad. Nothing else. I even asked if they had looked at [inspected] anything else. Reply was, "Nope just the front tires". Real 'eff the customer, pay me' attitude. Saw 2-3 other examples while in the waiting area. Walk away folks, try Tee-Pee Tire up the street, and definitely keep your retired moms and dads far away from this guy. read more

I have a 2004 handicap van that we just purchased. We put a new battery in and all was well for awhile. Then if I let the van sit for a week, the battery would always die. I did not buy the battery at Auto Tech II, but I took the van there to see if they could help me. Lisa was very helpful and told me what they would do and how much it would cost. I was driven home by a delightful fellow named Mike. Meanwhile Rob went to work on our battery. He was looking for what might be draining the battery. He kept the van overnight (which was fine with me) and discovered that we had a faulty battery. They sent Mike back for me, and I was a little nervous about what my bill would be. It was extremely reasonable, and I can't say enough good things about them and the service we received. read more

Auto Tech ll installed a new compressor and related parts in my Honda CR-V July 13, 2015. The bill was $1486.00. June 09, 2017 the compressor seized and we purchased a new compressor kit from Advance Auto (compressor,expansion valve and dessicant bag kit ). My husband installed it and the AC was working. July 13, 2017 the AC stopped working and we brought the vehicle to Auto Tech ll. They said the new compressor, which was under warranty was faulty.. Auto Tech ll called Car Quest for a replacement compressor. Car Quest brought the replacement parts and after inspecting the compressor that was installed by my husband agreed that THE COMPRESSOR WAS INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND GAVE AUTO TECH A REPLACEMENT AT NO CHARGE. The total bill was $1004.49 ( parts not including the compressor, which was replaced by Car Quest at no charge - $312.82 and labor $598.95) On March 10, 2018 we were informed by the auto repair shop that had the Honda there for repairs that the compressor had a large hole. Called Auto Tech ll and s/w the manager He told us to bring the vehicle to their shop and there would be no charge since parts and labor had a 12 month warranty and they installed the previous AC compressor July 13, 2017. When we arrived at Auto Tech ll we were told they would not honor any portion of the warranty, because the compressor they installed was a replacement of a previous compressor purchased by us.. I asked why that was not addressed before we were told there would be no charge for labor or parts. The manager was very rude and when I tried to say something told me that he wanted to talk and was not interested in what I wanted to say. They refused to guarantee ANY of the work they did on the vehicle. The invoice for the July 13, 2017 replacement of the ac compressor states 12 month warranty on parts and labor. We took the receipt for the compressor that was purchased June 9, 2017 to Advance Auto. They said since Auto Tech ll got the replacement compressor on 7/13/17 from Car Quest they were responsible for replacing the faulty compressor. Went to Car Quest and s/w the manager, Richard. Richard called Auto Tech ll and had a lengthy conversation with the Auto Tech ll manager behind closed doors. Richard said Auto Tech ll would not take any responsibility. However Car Quest would replace the failed compressor. We took the new AC compressor to the auto repair shop that informed us the compressor installed by Auto Tech ll on July 13, 2017 was blown. The bill from another the auto repair shop to replace the compressor, labor and the other parts installed by Auto Tech ll on 7/13/17 was $970.70. In addition I had to pay for 3 more days for a rental car. In reviewing the bill for the 2015 installation of the compressor and related parts, I noticed that the AAA Discount that they advertise was not applied to their invoice. read more
