Within an hour he had looked at my A/C, diagnosed and repaired the issue which happened to be a relay. After looking at it, they informed me that they had patched the tire but recommended that I replace it as soon as possible. I was confused because if the tire was safe, why would i need to replace the tire soon? the next day , I took my vehicle to another tire shop for a second opinion. I was shocked when they informed me that the tire was hazardous and unsafe to drive on. Learning that I had been sent back onto the road with a tire in that condition was extremely upsetting and could have put my safety, as well as the safety of others, at risk. I was advised to contact the supervisor at Tire Choice in The Villages regarding my concerns. Unfortunately, I was met with one of the most rude, dismissive, and unprofessional supervisors I have ever encountered. Rather than addressing my legitimate safety concerns, he told me to "consult with my father," a comment that I found incredibly inappropriate, disrespectful, and sexist. I escalated my complaint to corporate, expecting the matter to be taken seriously. However, no meaningful action was taken, and I received no compensation or resolution for this incident. The lack of accountability from both the local management and corporate office was deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, I would never recommend that anyone do business with this facility. If customer safety, professionalism, and respect are important to you, I strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere.

After some research,…read moreI decided to give them a call for a quote on some necessary repairs due to their seemingly high rating. When I made initial contact with them, it was difficult to communicate with the person on the other end but after some time I was able to provide them with the information needed to give a quote. During the quote process the person mentioned the possibility of using OEM parts instead of aftermarket parts which could also bring the total bill down. He then told me he'd call me back in a few minutes and hung up. Once he called back however that's where my experience turned sour. Without any explanation I was told my only option was to use aftermarket parts and given a quote higher than I had received elsewhere. I confirmed that he could not match the other shops quote, and was performing the same work. Once it was confirmed he could not match their price I thanked him for his time and told him I would be going elsewhere to which he decided to cuss me out and hang up on me. I can't believe someone would treat a potential customer like this especially when the repairs would have brought a couple thousand dollars to his business. If you need work done on your car, seek a business who will treat you with respect and be transparent.

Went back to Mavis and they said I needed a new brake master cylindar ($480). Next day problems. Went in a third time and they said I need a small vacuum check value (leaking)... but they couldn't order the part, instead I would need to replace the entire brake booster... another ($880). BUT... they gave me the check valve part number off their screen to order myself and save... I orded on ebay and after 10 days of waiting (can't drive) it was the WRONG PART! They gave me the incorrect part number for my Toyota T100! GAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa...... Sometimes it just pays to go to the toyota dealer and have them fix it. Off I go to toyota - I'm going to eat my losses, I'm not going back for a 4th visit... who knows how much they will charge me?!?!
