He got my engine "jumped" and afterward said that I really should replace it ASAP. I took his advice. I drove to a parts retailer and the woman tested my battery, told me that it was defective. I bought it and she installed it. Things and autos cost money. Well worth it to have a running vehicle.

They worked on my Kia Forte and found the problem on Monday.If I hadn't had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I could've picked it up. Instead, I picked it up this morning Wednesday. They did a great job. It was not a major transmission problem.. It was a small problem, they know I don't have a ton of money so the part I needed was a shift knob. They checked with the Kia Dealer and Auto Parts Stores but it would've been a lot more expensive. Instead, they found a place locally where they could get a used one and install that and it has a 30 day warranty. I'm sure it will last longer than that. Great deal at $299. I also learned today they have a mobile unit and it's Big. I thought it had a race car in it. I took a picture and added it here. If you can't come in, for a little bit of a premium, they can come to you and do some repairs right at your home. I'm not sure which repairs but they will be able to help you. We got the 12-year old never-before-used donut spare on and, with that also losing pressure, limped our way to Alex Tire Repair, recommended by a nice woman in a RaceTrac station. Alex and his staff were Absolutely EXCELLENT. They quickly replaced the donut with a new tire with similar tread to the Michelin, checked and filled the remaining three tires, inspected the donut, replaced it in the trunk and sent us on our way, all in about 15 minutes and for about $160, for a Brand New tire! Furthermore, Alex asked that we call to let him know we made it home. I cannot tell much that meant to us. I was driving through the city structure in Dade City today and ran over construction debris. One…read moreof the tires popped and I had to pull off immediately. It was 3pm on a Saturday and most businesses were closed. I called Alex Tire and explained the situation. I drive a Maserati Grecale and was fearful they would not help. However, they came and removed the tire, took it back to their shop, and brought a newly mounted tire back. I realize I will have to change the tire to a matching brand in the next couple of days. However, they got me back on the road and I made it back home. I am grateful that Alex Tire was willing to assist. They also charged me fairly and did not attempt to inflate the charge because of the car. I do not live in the area but would highly recommend them if you need tires.

This is a little late, but still relevant. We had a king pin installed on our class A coach. After…read morethey inspected it and said it needed a king pin, I submited it to out warranty company who authorized the repair. A few days later RDI said the threads at the top of the knuckle, where the grease cap goes was damaged and needed a new knuckle. After getting the estimate RDI was told to stop work in case it needed to be inspected. I told them to order the knuckle but not complete the work. After not hearing back from our warranty company I called them and long story, they wanted to inspect. Called RDI and the work was completed. Thanks RDI. After looking at the knuckle, it appeared as if a hammer was used at the top, as if driving in the king pin. It certainly could have been repaired with a thread file. Fast forward a couple months and the coach was taken to another shop that was local to me for an oil change and they pointed out the lower grease cap on the knuckle that RDI replaced was missing. There was a little dirt inside the area and little grease. I contacted RDI and their reponse was that there were no parts left over when the intial repair was completed and if it fell out it's on them. I asked for reimbursement for the cap and they stated "there's no way to verify when it fell out or if it was something we caused" I advised them if it wasn't installed it's on them, if it was installed and it fell out it's on them. They never responded back.
