I have brought my bmw here about 3 times in the past 2 years and have had wonderful service everytime. First time I was 8.5 months pregnant and my car needed work done that meant I had to leave it. Knowing this Lance the manager arranged for my car to be delivered to my house when it was finished as I had no ride there to get it (fantastic customer service). Another time I ordered high end wipers, one of the clips went missing and so the wiper wasn't able to be attached. They (Bayside) ordered another new set on their dime just to get the piece needed to attach to my car. This past week I had to have my AC fixed and then one of my exhaust pipes wasn't opening properly. Not only did they fit me in first thing in the am but they were willing to work with my husband to troubleshoot the issue. During this they found a hole in one of my lines, repaired it free of charge. These guys are the ONLY shop I will bring my car to here in Spring Hill. They are honest, reliable, and treat me and my family with respect. This is not a take 5 shop, they are going to take the time to try and figure out what issue your car has and will call with price options just so you know you're not getting "taken for." The new manager Lance is a absolute asshole,he's unfair about his pricing. For example if he just doesn't like you or thinks you're being annoying he'll add a extra amount of time on your labor. The "Free Quotes" aren't actually free. He'll add it into your labor charge and not tell you so you think you're getting a good deal. He is just very sketchy, on top of that my car left there with scratches all over my new paint, stains on my interior that were never there in the past, and now I have a random dent on my passenger door that was never there until I left bayside. I have been meaning to make this review for a couple of years now. I lived in Spring Hill for a few years and Bayside was always my go to. Being a young woman, I hate getting anything done with my car. However, I always felt good about going to Bayside for my old car that always had something wrong with it, and my new car that just needed oil changes. Chris is always so nice and willing to explain things so I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off. Couldn't have asked for a better experience from setting up an appointment to picking up my car. Hands down the best experience I've ever had at an auto shop. Chris (whom I spoke with the entire time) was the nicest, most professional person. Even conversations with coworkers were quiet and professional which is rare to find these days. I always dreamed of owning a Vette and after retirement I decided to make that dream a reality and bought a 93 C4 corvette. The previous owner hadn't had the car for long but was a local resident and highly recommend Bayside Auto Works, who he had previously work on the car. In the 2 years I've owned the car it seems all the common old C4 issues I've had to contend with: Bayside has replaced wheel bearings, FX3 shocks, fuel pump, relays, blower motor, ignition switch, radiator, AC condenser, vacuum lines, heater core, and sorted out VATs shorts all while being extremely fair on cost to me. I can say that now my C4 is fully functional with every light bell and whistle working. She runs strong and cool and I attribute this to the excellent "mechanics" and not contemporary "technicians" at Bayside Auto Works. Had my car fixed here got a list of parts and things that were fixed " " Took the car in about six months later for some other work and lo and behold the other work that needed to be done just so happened to be one of the claimed parts they fixed I had the receipt brought it up to them and they talk to me like I was absolutely stupid and was going to settle for being talked in a circle I strongly recommend nobody ever bring their cars to these people their mechanics go to the methadone clinic and are absolute junkies unlike most people that goes there and try to utilize it to better their lives this mechanic in particular can't seem to even hold his eyes open proceeds to tell me a 40-year-old man that he understands what it's like to be a kid in hotdog a car sir I am not hotdogging my only form of transportation that excuse might work on the average parent but not on me anyways when presented with proof they show me out the door and told me there was nothing they could do for me talking about feeling helpless how customer service these days has completely went out the door with zero Care whether there was further repercussions or not I can only tell you from my experience but I know in today's economy not many people have money to throw away please go somewhere else and do not throw your money away here...!!! read more

I love this place Chris is amazing and always calls to check up on my car after it's been worked on. Long story short, I bought a stupid little rebuilt titled car which I ended up getting screwed on. This place is run by crooks we took our vehicle and have a small electrical problem fixed he charged us three times to run electrical test, kept the vehicle for over a month and then when he was finished with it we went to pick it up he told us it was a wire that somebody had run. I did ask Chris for a partial refund which we never received. We also found a couple of dents in the door . read more

I had work done here on 3 different occasions. The final time I was charged 3 times what my next mechanic charges and there was a simple filter which should have been replaced as part of the service, they never touched it. They're so close to me I truly thought it was worth it. It's not. I found an excellent mechanic where I may have to drive 15 minutes to, but the work is top quality and so reasonable I'd go nowhere else. I even buy my tires through him and he saves me hundreds! Trust me, I shop around - google everything! Also at my final visit at Bayside they told me of work I needed done and gave me a quote - I found my mechanic by calling around to get other bids....The new place charged the same price - but for both sides rather than the one! I originally had new brake pads installed at another service provider prior to discovering Bayside Auto. I was supposed to get ceramic pads, instead, I got semi-metallic, which were loud and had a high pitch screeching everytime I applied the brakes. Greg was able to get the pads changed, full warranty, and the entire problem is resolved. Do yourself a favor - go see Greg before you go anywhere else. read more

I walked in almost a month ago. Told them in detail what I needed. I wanted a diagnostic done to find out what computer was messed up on my truck. They said to make a appointment and gave me a price. I agreed. I brought the truck in and waited to hear from them. After almost week went by I finally called to see what's going on. They gave me several excuses of why they haven't got to my truck but it was getting done next. A few days later they called to tell me they needed more money to find the problem because the initial service hour wasn't enough. With hesitancy, I agreed. Another week went by and I heard nothing. So I called, they told me the problem was a sensor and cost me 150 bucks to get my truck fixed, so I told them to do it. Several days later I went in to check on my truck. As I was talking to the counter person, he told me the truck was almost ready and they needed to test drive it and I could pick it up later. Then the mechanic walked in and said he hadn't even got it to start and it wasn't the sensor. Now they "think" it's the computer and want alot more money. So I decided to just pick up my truck, sounds simple right.... Nope! This took more then a week to accomplish. A simple diagnostic, turned into a month long pain in a butt with no real answers. Multiple phone calls that went unreturned. Promises not keep. Very unprofessional and will never get my business or my recommendation. read more
