Went on line to find some tires and prices before heading over to tire barn. When I got there they only had ONE set of tires that would fit my car and of course they were the most expensive tires they had. When I asked about the ones on their web site that also had a $80 rebate, he said they would have to be special ordered and then proceeded to tell me that there would also be a old tire disposal fee. When I told him that it said on their web site that the prices included everything and that there were no hidden fees....he said "the tire disposal fee is not hidden". Well, then I guess when your web site says that the price has EVERYTHING included....that that is a lie. He was a smug little condescending douche and I just took my key and walked out. He then yelled at me while I was leaving that they have the cheapest tire installation in town. And He was WRONG again! So, for a place called TIRE BARN you would think they would have more then one set of tires available and some that were less expensive. Go somewhere else, they apparently think they are the only tire shop in town and therefore have the right to treat possible customers like idiots that can't read. read more

I went in with a flat tire to see if I could get it patched or if I would just need to buy a completely new tire. Unfortunately, I was told it would be unrepairable so the man helping me hooked me up and gave me the right advice and I got a tire that was at a great cost. I was very happy with the costumer service and he was very nice. They were pretty busy but still got it done in a reasonable amount of time. I had them install four tires 8ply on the back and two on the front earlier. The problem started as I couldn't keep air in them. So I tried twice to have the valve stems replaced. They said they couldn't do that because of the condition. Both front tires were balding on the sides, because of low air pressure. So I go to have the front passenger tire replaced. So where else. So Tire barn had the incorrect valve stems, for a car tire, 30 psi max. 8ply tires require 65-70 psi , also take a completely different valve stem. There just a bunch of kids, don't know shit. Two new tires and six high pressure valve stems later. read more

I had nothing better to do then to listen to how they dealt w/ customers on the phone & in person (and how the employees talked to one another). I also watched them remove & inspect my tire. If you've got to be anywhere important within the next two hours go somewhere else. I made an appointment to get four tires at 12:30 in the afternoon and am still waiting here at 2:30. This has happened twice since I moved to Bloomington the first time I was a walk-in and that took 4 and a half hours to get one tire fixed. They are too busy for their own staff to work efficiently. Went in because of the "Patch your tire for free" hoax... They do not. They get you in, then tell you it's unfixable because it's too close to the side wall and they want to save you from certain death by selling you a brand new tire. Ok, so what do you have that most closely matches the OEM tires? "A Yokohama High Performance tire that is $150 installed!" The OEMs are Standard Passenger tires that can be purchased and installed for much less... skip these clowns and go somewhere else. Took the tire to another shop and they patched for a few dollars... I don't usually fill out reviews typically, but I had to write today to tell others about a local business that has gone above and beyond service!! I had two flats on my GMC truck during a rain storm and one was going to be fixed and the other had to be replaced...they tried to fix the one tire and they didn't feel it would hold, instead of just plugging it and hoping for the best, they replaced at no charge because they said they could fix it. Now that is a company that stands behind its word...WOW... I will always buy my tires from this store and I recommend you do too. Thx to the guys at Tire Barn...much appreciated. read more

These men were so nice. I am an out of town college student who got a flat tire. Tire Barn got me in for an appointment immediately, when I arrived early they did not mind and began working on my car right away. They were very quick, and not only did they fix my tire, but they put it back on my car as well. When I went to pay they assured me not to worry about it and fixed my tire for free. 100% would recommend. Great service and great staff. read more

I went to have my tires balanced yesterday. When the job was completed (at the end of the day,) I waited in line for 20 minutes to pay my bill. Once on the road again, I found that my tires were still unbalanced and the wheels were still shimmying on the road. Apparently, they are too busy do be able to do a good job. read more

I set an appointment and when I showed up I was greeted by a man that was so rude I thought I was on a prank tv show. Turns out he was the manager. What could have been a simple 1 minute interchange turned into a 5 minute problem with him saying one or two words at a time with absolutely no way of telling if it was a question or statement. When I dared asked him to repeat or elaborate he became incredulous and agitated and spoke to me as if I was an idiot who was bothering him. Shortly after I sat down to wait for my tire repair a young girl came in (couldn't have been more than 19-20) and he was even more rude to her. She was trembling and nearly in tears by the time she was finished with him. In short, I will certainly never do business with Tire Barn again, and as parting constructive criticism, don't treat your customers as if they are a burden and are privileged to do business with you. had a good experience here, my front tire had a leak in it so i brought it in, i had a bead leak on my tire, being me i had no idea what that was and the guys explained it to me and i actually understood everything they were saying lol, some times you bring you car to place and they explain things in a whole other language, not here. read more

Came in to have a wheel that I had purchased myself replaced, they stole the new wheel and kept the cracked wheel on my car with just a sticker for repair. I went to Tire Barn since they had the lowest prices for my tires. I however am new to the whole taking care of it yourself and I didn't realize or know that you HAVE to have your tires rotated every 5,000 miles or so and HAVE to get an alignment every 6 months or so... I recently was told my front tires were bald and that I needed to contact the place I got them... I just got off the phone with them and they tell me all the stuff I didn't know and that there is NOTHING they can do about it cause I voided my warranty due to not having that done... So I would NOT recommend them to anyone due to the fact had they told me that at check out it wouldn't have been an issue I WOULD have had all that done just so I can keep good tires on my car! I'm a single mom with 2 kids and I don't have the extra money to waste so live and learn I guess I will be going somewhere else to get new tires since I now know what I HAVE to do to keep a warranty! read more
