Friendly attentive front desk guy. When I asked about whether they could check air pressure on all tires they freely filled my tires then saw a nail in tire. They took care of it immediately and I was on my way. Really appreciated it was taken care of as I'm pretty car knowledge deficient!! read more

First, the manager here seems to be an honest guy and excellent mechanic. The problem is this place is filled with inexperienced mechanics, i.e., kids paid crap wages. Waited hours recently while they guessed at what was wrong with my truck, kept stalling. It took the manager, the next day, to figure it out. I don't liketo give bad reviews, trying to be fair. read more

I was told it would be "just a few minutes" to simply check a leak on a tire. That was over an hour ago. No updates whatsoever. I have watched others come in and go. If they had told me it would be such a wait, I would not be so irritated. However, since I was told it would be very quick, I'm irritated. read more

It was fantastic!! Customer service, timeliness, and the work done was excellent! Very honest and had everything they needed!

Go to Belle Tire. Cleaner and more professional. Don't look at you like your stupid. I know more about tires than they do. That shouldn't be the case. Ponytail as I call him is worthless. read more

Told to have vehicle here at 2pm for set of 4 tires. It's now nearly closing time. 6:45!! My vehicle has been IN the garage for nearly 3 hours!! For four tires..... Now they come to me and say they have broken the studs on one wheel. Not gonna be able to get it done tonight. I am over an hour away from home!!! This is just unacceptable! There have been multiple "emergency" tire leaks come in. They took precedence over mine every time. No way should it take over THREE HOURS to put a set of tires on!!! Or to keep me waiting here over 5 hours is outrageous!! More by then time they eventually get it fixed, since they tracked down some studs...I will not be utilizing this shop ever again. There was also a lady waiting for a tire to be fixed that waited over 5 hours!!! A guy with a leak that waited 3 hours!! I would have given NO stars if I could!! So, go to leave and I thought "I better just check". They only put TWO of my tires on!!!! . Caught the guy, he called in help. 8:15 and I am STILL here!!! read more

Zach the assistant manager helped me get a new tire mounted and put on my expedition. While I waited a long time what I witnessed was a manager dedicated to helping people and who went above and beyond to serve his customers with a skeleton crew. I would happily go back as long as he is working there. read more

OK, made an appointment for tires 4 days before we arrived in ton. Tires shipped from tire rack. Guy on the phone said the whole day was open, so we booked a noon appointment. 4 new tires, rotate, and balance. Since we had an appointment thought it would be 90 minutes, tops. Left and went to lunch. Can back at 2:50 and car had not been touched. Met a woman who just had to rotate her tires and she had a 1PM appointment. Talked to the front guy who works the desk (looked like a thinner Tommy Chong from the 1970's but less smart even without the drug use) who said he would check and came back saying they don't have enough staff. Wait, you booked the appointment and then find out the woman with the 1PM appointment goes before us... total incompetent shop management. Finally get finished around 4:30. Guy did say he was sorry, but this unacceptable after we drove away we noticed tire were not inflated to proper pressures. Would not go to this location ever again. read more

I went there because of a flat on my camper and they charged me $230 for one tire then when I got to my destination we noticed that the tire they sold me was way smaller compared to the other tires on the camper I thought it was pulling quite differently then before in other words they ripped me off , you would think they would be about safety and honesty ,but I guess not they'll never get me again it's sad that they're that petty read more

First Yelp should updated the business details because no business has required staff or customers to wear masks in quite some time. Regarding my experience, I have made my first and last visit to Tire Barn. First, do not bother making an appointment, you will wait well past its time before service anyway. Second, it still does not mean that it will be done right the first time. And third, it is too expensive. I wish Discount Tire had a location in Bloomington. read more

Called yesterday to see if they had time to install 2 tires on a car. I was at Tire Barn on 11/17/24, got 4 new tires and an alignment. Before I left a censor was on my dash was going off so an employee opened my hood to look and then closed the hood (or seemingly so). I was driving home and my hood flies up. This only happened because of not being put back right. This caused damage to my car. I have called, emailed and even stopped by for the General Manager, named Tim to never reach back out to me. This is extremely unprofessional, and I would appreciate a call or email back before I have to take this up the corporate ladder. read more

Tire Barn Warehouse - Tires Near Me - Bloomington, Indiana

worst customer service Ive ever experienced from a very lazy manager. Brought my van in at 7:45 with a small hole in the tire, pouring down rain, aired up the tire just to get it to Tire Barn. Upon arrival with 0 cars in the lot or shop, I was told it would be 4:00pm to patch the whole. Midas had no problem getting me in and out the door in 20 minutes. read more

I have been taking my vehicle to the Tire Barn for a little while now, and I am EXTREMELY impressed not only with the quality of service, but the fair prices. Chris and his crew are always polite, always keep in touch, and are very honest with what needs to be done. They try to help in any way they can, and the times they've worked on my vehicle, I've always left happy. I would recommend them to anyone who needs that type of services done on their car. I will continue to take my vehicle there anytime it needs it. read more

My husband had a flat tire while driving through on a Saturday morning. Made it to another local tire shop and they refused to help him. He was towed to Tire Barn. BIG! rip off here. BEWARE! Went in to have a slow leak on my tire repaired. After over an hour of waiting the Jerk at the front desk said "I can't repair the tire because it had cracks from sitting too long, the tread was too worn, and the 'plug' would not hold". Really? Then he looked in his catalogue and said he could replace all four of my tires for such and such. That was total BS so I went to High Speed tire and had it plugged for $10. Still driving on it and that was hundreds of miles ago. David Junkins read more

In the past, I have had good experiences with Tire Barn on W. 3rd St in Bloomington. However, in June 2014 I bought 4 new tires recommended by them (and the tires are appropriately from year 2014) -- Yokohama Avid Ascend -- which have had great ratings online. However, 4.5 years later (December 2018) and under 46,000 miles later, all 4 tires have dry rot. I was advised by a mechanic (doing other work on my car) about the dry rot and that I would need to replace the tires by Spring. He suggested that I go over to where I bought the tires -- Tire Barn -- to show them, which I did the same day (Dec. 28). The mileage warranty on the Avid Ascend (speed rating H) is 75,000. My odometer is at less than 88,00, so I should still have more than 29,000 miles to go. here is still plenty of tread depth. However, when I showed the representative at Tire Barn he insisted that the tires did NOT have dry rot and looked fine to him. Confused by this contradiction, I took the car to a third, unrelated mechanic. He took one look and said, like mechanic 1, that all 4 tires have dry rot and to replace them by Spring. I would NOT want to replace the Yokohama Avid Ascend with more of the same -- they do not have good traction on wet roads, and it rains quite a bit here. Moreover, I believe that this Tire Barn overcharged for the tires -- they are certainly the most expensive I have ever bought: each tire was 141.99, so 4 tires cost me 567.96. I also had to pay a tire recycling fee as well as state tax, for a total of $620.49. Four years ago I had been to the local Walmart and another store, neither of which had my tire size at the time [205/55R16]. Tire Barn was the only local store with the correct size, and they only had one other "choice" which they did not recommend at the time as being as safe. However, I feel I have not only been overcharged but now have to replace the tires much sooner than expected. I don't trust Tire Barn to provide a less expensive, better replacement, nor to prorate the price due to the early ruin of the current tires. They denied that there was anything wrong! I mostly drive in town and was commuting only 2 days a week to Columbus, IN on state road 46. The car and its tires have been maintained according to manufacturer recommendations. I have maintained the tire pressures -- difficult to do with these tires from the very start! They have always lost pressure and have needed at least 2 stems replaced within the first 2 years. So -- I am very unhappy with my experiences with Tire Barn. Yes -- I went back to them throughout with the loss of pressure problems, and now the dry rot problem (which they deny). I am particularly unhappy with the contradiction by their desk person with 2 independent mechanics -- from "all 4 have dry rot" to "none have dry rot". I will be contacting higher-level management with current close-up photos of the tires and the odometer, as well as the original sales receipt from Tire Barn and the current assessment from the independent mechanic to see if Tire Barn will help me. read more

They are not the same under the current owners. They did not tighten the wheels correctly. They put the front tires on the back and the larger tires on front. They rubbed to the point of being ruined. I spent $800 and 5% discount means 5 dollars and not 40 dollars to them. They gave me grief for correcting them on the discount and blamed me for putting the tires on the wrong places. To hide the screw up from the boss they listed it as a road hazard issue the next day. How do you forget to double check that the tires are bolted tight and the correct tire placement? read more

If you're more worried about the quality of your tires than getting your car on the road for as little money as possible, I can't recommend Tire Barn enough. That's not to say their prices are high, they're just not the bottom-rung prices that some people demand when buying tires. Where other places seem to always be trying to put one past you, I always feel like I'm being treated fairly at Tire Barn. The staff is extremely helpful and professional, and they always work quickly. There's no hard sell, no nebulous warnings about bad things that might happen in the distant future, just solid information and guidance about what to put on your car. read more

The service here is great and the guys take the time to explain things to you so you understand what is going on. I wasn't treated as if I didn't know anything, due to being female, as I have at other establishments. Prices are comparable to others in town and I believe they match prices as well. Only negative seems to be one employee, that unfortunately spends most of the time with customers, and whose customer service skills seem to be lacking. This one specific gentleman can come across as a little rude, has been heard cursing in the waiting area, and is just generally unhappy. That being said, I still highly recommend this establishment, just don't be surprised if you run into the grumpy gentleman at the front counter. But if you can get past him, read more

Why would you want to fill your tires in your car with nitrogen instead of plain old ordinary everyday air? Several good reasons. First of all nitrogen is not as sensitive to temperature changes as ordinary air. So your tires will hold their pressure longer. And that's a good thing. Also, nitrogen will not be seeping through the rubber like regular air. So your tires will hold their pressure longer. A very good thing, remember? When you buy your tires from the Tire Barn Warehouse they are all filled with nitrogen at no additional cost. And that is a very, very good thing. I have gone to Tire Barn many times over the years, and I have never been dissatisfied. Sometimes the wait was a little longer than I liked. And there have been times that they didn't have exactly what I wanted. Other than that, they are excellent in every way. Always extremely fair, competitive prices. They have a price-matching guarantee, and will even give you an extra 5% off of a competitor's price. They have what is arguably the largest selection of name brand tires anywhere. Friendly and expert service always. I highly recommend that the next time you need tires, or any kind of tire service, you take a look at the Tire Barn Warehouse. read more

I regularly go to this Tire Barn and receive over the top customer service every single time. Every once in a while I'll buy new tires somewhere else, and disappointment ensues. Today I learned my lesson once again. Sam's Club messed up by installing tires that were too large for my truck. Tire Barn fixed the issue, installed a leveling kit at a dirt cheap price, and fixed multiple issues on my suspension for free. They gave me a discount on alignment as well. Brandon did not have to go through so much trouble for me (after all, they make their money on tires, not suspension fixes), but I'm very thankful he got me fixed up! read more

Dishonest service, Does not honor warrenty as sold. On two seperate occasions within 2 months I had flat tires covered under warrenty. The first one was void because I drove 2 blocks on a flat tire that went flat while I was driving. Two months later my tire suddenly when flat while I was driving and I IMMEDIATELY pulled over and changed the tire. Warrenty was viod because it was driven on. I asked the manager to explain what the warrenty covered since it didn't cover tire that went flat while driving and he told me the warrenty did cover it, just not in my case or cases. I asked him to explain and he basically explained my situation but I wasn't covered. He said that he fixed problems like mine everyday under warrenty, but not for me I guess. My guess is it was probably because I was at work and my wonderful girlfriend took it there and they tried to take advantage of her being a female and when she didn't back down and I called for an explaination they had already commited to the fraud and had to hold firm. We bought a tire and they rang it up with the warrenty on it. When she asked to have to warrenty removed because it obviously wasn't as advertised, they tried to explain to the benifits of the warrently and sell it to her agian! "Your previous two tires are on warrenty but not covered, so you should probably get another warrenty" should have been their line. I went to this shady place because the tires are cheap and I get a discount through work. It's not worth it. They sell cheap tires and a warrenty that sounds great until it comes into play. I have never written a bad review about any company or place before this experience. read more

Went on line to find some tires and prices before heading over to tire barn. When I got there they only had ONE set of tires that would fit my car and of course they were the most expensive tires they had. When I asked about the ones on their web site that also had a $80 rebate, he said they would have to be special ordered and then proceeded to tell me that there would also be a old tire disposal fee. When I told him that it said on their web site that the prices included everything and that there were no hidden fees....he said "the tire disposal fee is not hidden". Well, then I guess when your web site says that the price has EVERYTHING included....that that is a lie. He was a smug little condescending douche and I just took my key and walked out. He then yelled at me while I was leaving that they have the cheapest tire installation in town. And He was WRONG again! So, for a place called TIRE BARN you would think they would have more then one set of tires available and some that were less expensive. Go somewhere else, they apparently think they are the only tire shop in town and therefore have the right to treat possible customers like idiots that can't read. read more
