Unlike the tire box stores, Tieman Tire extends personal customer service that makes you feel involved and not victimized by the tire purchase and service process. They aren't always the cheapest, but they are always close and their service is second to none. You can and should trust this business. read more

Old school tire shop. Decent prices. Does work others won't, can't, or shouldn't. Pretty resourceful. Big and local clientele. Doesn't have a fru fru waiting room with adjacent nail salon. Does what they promise. Make sure your phone quote is what you paid. They have to be reminded of this, and this is why they're not 5-star to me. They nonetheless did work for me that was fast and correct. You can't shop for groceries here. There is no pharmacy. No overly loud waiting room music. Old school. I would recommend them as top shelf, along with their more commercial competitor, Pomps. read more

Bought a set of tires at a fair price with quick installation. Very pleased and will definitely return. I watched how other customers were also treated with great customer service while I was waiting. read more

Straight to the point these guys are legit. Very friendly, and very good pricing. Guys up front are awesome and easy to talk to, and always put the customer first. Ive been in twice over the past 3 weeks for tire issues, one replacement for two tires and once again today over a leak. ( all different tires that had problems) Took me less than an hour to get in and out, leaks repaired and all, and i still have time to get home to get ready for work. Also to add on it was a busy Saturday morning. Everybody is always moving and working, so everything gets done as quick as possible. I 100% recommend these guys for your tire work. read more

Always honest and fair prices, plus good service after the sale. I've been using Tieman's for 15 years.

Tiemans was recommended to me I went there for a complete set of tires, I was awarded Jeff to help me. I told him what I was needing and asked him a question he stated "Walmar if fucking cheaper" he told me if I wanted answers to stupid question to take myself somewhere else. I did just that Walmart wasn't much cheaper but much better customer service. Don't go here unless you like to be talked down to and cursed out. If you want to stay in business hire better workers but if you want to lose business hire more people like Jeff read more

These guys are The Best, super hard working bunch. We are soooo happy with the service and customer care we receive EVERYTIME we come here. They truly care about YOU / ME, everyone is treated with respect and equally. Will always bring our tire business here to Tieman Tire in Bloomington on Yost Ave. read more

Great experience. Needed to replace the tires on my 2012 Prius. Went into Tieman (pronounced TEE-man) Tires on Monday to get some advice about what tires to buy and to see what they had in stock. They had the tires I wanted plus a sweet $50 rebate on that brand and make of tire. They are a first come/first served, no appointments kind of place. I brought my car in around 10:30 today and the work was completed in about an hour. The waiting room is no-frills, CMT playing on the TV, a candy machine and a coffee maker. They have WiFi, just ask them and they will give you the password to access it. Would definitely recommend Tieman Tire to everyone in the area looking for new or used tires or repairs. They will repair tires purchased from them for free. Great selection and great customer service. read more

Tieman Tire - Getting new Michelins on my 2012 Prius. Great service and selection at Tieman Tire. - Tires Near Me - Bloomington, Indiana

This review is long overdue. I was raveling to Bloomington from out of town and our rental car had a nail in the tire. The rental car company's only suggestion was to drive back to the Indy Airport so we could pick up another vehicle. Ahhh... no. I called many tire shops around town and by far was Tieman the most responsive and cost effective. We showed up and were taken care of right away. The guys in the shop were outstanding. I appreciate their service and knowledge and would recommend their business 200%, read more

These are my 'go to' guys for any tire related issue. I have used them in the past and now that I am a Tesla owner, I will be bringing my Tesla to them when I need tires. They are polite, professional, and really good value value for money. I just bought a Tesla model Y 5 months ago and this past week I picked up a nail on the left front tire. They fixed the tire while I waited and did not charge me for the fix. Who does that these days? Tieman has the Tesla-specific "hockey pucks" needed to jack up a Tesla and they are knowledgeable. I would recommend Tieman to any Tesla owners in Monroe County. read more

Days before embarking on a cross country road trip I needed a new set of tires. The guys at Tieman not only got the tires installed quickly, they also did an emergent patch when a piece of steel tried to ruin my schedule. I can't recommend Jason and the team at Tieman enough. Great work and even better customer service. read more

Anyone who needs new tires, tire repair, whatever, Tieman's is the greatest place around. They are some of the most honest, fair, and knowledgeable tire folks. Don't go anywhere else...and they are a local shop. My son-in-law and daughter bought me new tires last September. Since then I've been in for repair twice. 2 different times I picked up nails. Then today I went in because my tire sensor was blinking. Original theory was the battery was dying in one or more tires. Expensive fix. Reasonable cost per tire. However when they checked they discovered my blinking tire sensor light was caused by their employee the last time I had my tire fixed. They could have charged me and not said anything...but instead, they told me it was their fault and I drove off with a new sensor for no charge. Thank you Jesus for honest people. read more

Shout out to Tieman Tire!!! I literally tried to go to 6 other places to try to get my tire fixed to get back to Indianapolis and no one could help me but tieman saved the day! Best customer service ever. Highly recommend and will always continue to come back. read more

Great service! Just drive in with no reservation needed. Prices seem to be competitive.

The seats in the waiting room are the most comfortable of any waiting area I've ever been in. Had a great tire experience. They could easily have sold me more expensive tires, but instead discussed with me different options for my low-mileage vehicle. I will definitely return for all of my tire needs. read more

My experience here was excellent! From the moment I called they treated me like a valued customer and were respectful of my time. They were able to get me in during a busy day and had me out within and hour and a half. Truly great customer service, everyone I interacted with was kind a friendly. Waiting area was clean and comfortable. Plus they patched the nail hole in my tire for free! Who does that?! I will definitely be returning for any tire needs and recommending them to others. Happy to support a small business who goes above and beyond and keeps prices low for their customers. read more

totally happy with the service obtained there. The guys seemed to only care about fixing my problem and getting me back on the road. And I was stunned at how inexpensive my tire purchase and road assistance was. read more

Great service and highly recommend! They were able to assist me when I had a nail in my tire and did a great job!

They know tires. Fixed a flat for me. Reasonable rates. The kind of place serious tire people appreciate.

Outstanding service and support. If you are looking for an honest, customer-focused, and professional team, Tiemans tires is your kind of place. They always go above and beyond just selling or repairing tires. Each time I have visited they made me feel my vehicle was the only one in the job, even when all bays were full and people were waiting. If you are looking for great service, prices, and treated like you are part of a family, this place is for you. read more

Great service, great prices! They will always rotate your tires, fix flats, patch flats, for free if you buy your tires here. read more

New Michelins saves the day! I almost sold a car that we bought for my daughter because it handled so poorly. I brought the car in three times to discuss options. It is a Jeep with aluminum wheels and an optional larger tire size. I had a bunch of questions. A ton of options. And, I needed some handholding through the decision making process. Every single question and concern was answered attentively and completely, during the course of three visits over 4 months. You just cannot get a better team of sales and service specialists with a knowledge base to match. Each brand of tire is made differently and the softness and gumminess of the Michelin tire was just what we needed to resolve a multitude of old car sins. It no longer pulls to the left, skids out on 'take off', or feels like it is in need of shocks or possibly front end parts. It feels grippy, tight, solid and safe. Tieman's helped us pick out a great alignment specialist for our older 4WD car and we will be taking it in with its new tires on Monday. I couldn't have done this expense without their help timing the rebates and sales in such a way that the 5 tire set was within our budget. We have exclusively used Tieman Tires for many years and many vehicles and have never been disappointed with perfect repair and replacement services. This is what we taught our daughter to look for in a 'Complete Tire & Service Center'. Wherever she ends up after graduation, she knows the gold standard and how important good tire fit and function is to the safety and enjoyment of the driving experience. read more

I came to Tieman after finding my tire flat hoping for a fix rather than new tires. Because it is first come, first serve I waited a long time, BUT . . . the people were nice, waiting room was clean with comfortable chairs, and in the end my tire was fixed. Because of the wait, the staff comp'd the repair and asked me to remember them when I do need tires. I appreciate the courtesy. read more

I took my car in for new tires and since it is a first come first serve business I got there right when they opened at 8am. The mechanic took time to talk with me about various tire options and gave me multiple quotes. I also like that I can have my tire repaired there during its lifetime if anything should happen. I chose a set of tires and my car was ready by 9:15am. Overall very pleased with this business, they came highly recommended by some of my coworkers. read more

We brought my Nissan Versa here for a new tire. Before they even knew they had the sale, they'd moved the spare to a different wheel, free of charge, because it was more safe. The people working there were friendly and helpful, and the whole place has the feel of a mom and pop tire place. They gave us a great deal on a tire, and even cut us a deal when they could hear we were super stressed about money. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

I had a screw stuck in my tire and was going to be headed out of town on a long trip. Needless to say I was very stressed, but Jason was great--dealt with my tire in a very professional, timely manner and really took good care of this customer! I would recommend Tieman Tire for their knowledgeable, professional customer care and service! read more

I used to recommend Tieman's to everybody I know. They always delivered a reliable price and good service. All that is out the window. First, I negotiated a less than competitive price on two tires. While I was waiting to have them installed, somebody backed their vehicle into my driver's side door, leaving a dent and scrape. I notified the manager that my car had sustained damages and he checked the security footage. They couldn't identify if one of their employees or another customer had damaged my car and refused to work with me on the price of the tires I was scheduled to have installed. At that point, I grabbed my keys and got out of there. I understand they had no legal responsibility to work with me, however, the damage DID occur on their property and I was hoping for a little bit of goodwill. I immediately went to Belle's Tire and purchased to equivalent tires for about the same price. Their employee, Steve, was professional and helpful. I will never step foot in Tieman's again. read more

Great service! One of my favorite businesses in Bloomington. Always a fair price and the best customer service you can find.

Great attitude! Great service! These guys worked very efficiently - 45 minute turnaround time for a set of tires! - and the price was definitely lower than other places. We lucked out with same day service to top it all off! We will be back for the next Lukens vehicle that needs tires. read more

I blew 2 tires out running over a curb to avoid being hit by another car. Fortunately I was close to Tiemans where I always go for tires. Talk about luck! Steven was the one who waited on me and replaced my tires. He did a great job and was fast at doing so. He really is a great guy and so sweet. He went above and beyond to help me out. This is why I always go there. The guys R just the greatest! I would recommend them in a heartbeat. U can't beat the prices or the service. Thanks again guys especially U Steven. read more

I went to Tieman Tires on the suggestion of a co-worker. I called to get a quote on a few tires, and they were able to give me a good price on my tires with a rebate that was coming up. They ordered a set of tires for me and they were into the shop the next day. I called to see if they could take me, as it was toward the end of business, and they said yes. There was a short 20 min wait and they changed all 4 tires in 15 minutes. Such friendly and speedy service. Will continue to go back to Tieman for all of my tire needs. read more

I purchased a set of Firestone tires recently, for my SUV. These tires were on sale and saved me $100 plus. I have a custom set of wheels on this vehicle and always get nervous when the tires have to changed or repaired. The wheels didn't have a mark on them and the work was done quickly. They even put my old tires (which I kept) in plastic tire bags, which I didn't know existed. These guys are real pro's! read more

They go out of their way to help and give you FREE 6-month tire rotation and a good warranty. When I bought the tires the guys said something about a rebate. I was like, yeah, yeah and ignored it because rebates are normally more trouble than they're worth. I was pleasantly surprised when the rebate (in the form of a prepaid debit card) showed up a few weeks later. Use these guys if you can. I am a woman and DID NOT get the sense that they were trying to jerk me around--that's rare but very welcome! read more

No one was wearing a mask. Other customers were taken in advance of me, and I had scheduled an appointment. When I finally received my vehicle (2 hours later) the vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke. I think every customer should be treated with with respect. I believe the lack of COVID precautions and lack of respect for customer satisfaction is pitiful for a local company in addition, I purchased new tires and the tire pressures varied greatly in the pressure of each tire. This demonstrated a lack of knowledge in the general work I paid for. I would not go back. So disappointed. read more

As a woman, not impressed. Stood 10 min waiting to get someone's attention. Then random guy walks up, cuts the line, just me, leaning on counter, asks when he can be seen. Half hour. I had Two simple tire replacements. Been here an hour. Literally every person here has been seen ahead of me. Called ahead to make sure they had me in stock. Arrive, guy says I'll have to check I don't think we have any. Comes back and sizes me up if he couldupsell me a new tire, decides not. 65bucks he happens to have some. I was recomended by a friend. He has a dick. Apparently you need one for fast reasonable service. Next time I'll buy two new for 80 bucks more across the street at walmart. Not impressed. Oh wait. Hour and half. Still not asked for my keys yet. read more

Wes Tieman is literally an angel on earth-- my 17 year old son had an accident and ended up with a flat tire and busted rim (or so I thought was the only damage). I had his car towed to Tieman's, where I stated what I needed and got a very fair price. I live near Indy and was headed back north when Mr. Tieman called with some concerns about other damage. He asked if I had a mechanic and I told him that I did not, yet I had been eyeballing one across the street, in case the car actually needed more than tires. Wes offered to drive the car there to get things checked out. Long story, short, I ended up with a laundry list of repairs and I was at a loss for how to pay for everything. The mechanic (shout out to Lloyd at Autochoice) happened to mention my struggle to Wes and I received a phone call from him shortly after. He worked with me on a payment plan and said that he simply wanted me to be safe, in which I needed tires and the repairs to accomplish that. I was shocked beyond belief that a person could be so kind in this day and age. The man literally brought tears to my eyes and he definitely gained a customer for life. Normally, people only post bad reviews, but I am going to write this review on every review board I can find. I am going to sing Mr. Tieman's praises to every person I meet, as you don't often find such a rare gem like him in this world anymore. In fact, I've already convinced a co-worker to bring her business to Wes, as she will be in the market for new tires soon. Mr. Tieman is as legit as it gets and it is worth the drive, even from Indy, to do business with him. If you happen to see Mr. Tieman in his shop, shake the man's hand, tell him "thank you"for me, and let him know Jennifer sent you. read more
