It's a $10 minimum to put your alcohol on a credit card. 123 Pleasant Street offers just about every type of non-symphonic music you can think of by bands on local, regional, and national tour. Ticket prices are decent. It's also "All Kinds Welcome Here." Doesn't matter if you're brown, black, white, red, yellow, gold, male, female, queer, straight, punk rocker, hip-hopster, or reggae lover. I've never had a problem here, and I've asked around plenty and heard none from others. Some shows are 21 and up, some 18 and up, some all ages: check the flier. They generally start 30-60 minutes past the advertised time, so don't arrive early. But if you like the not-Top-40 scene, arrive nonetheless. This is the place for you.

The Coliseum is a basket ball arena that is the home for WVU Mountaineer cagers. The arena has close to 14000 seats and has a couple of statues outside. Well one statue belongs to NBA great, Jerry West who attended WVU. If you don't know Jerry West, then you will definitely recognize him if you have ever seen the NBA logo. The other statue belongs to Rodney Clark "Hot Rod" Hundley, who I never heard of till I visited. I didn't go inside the arena as there were no events. My main reason for the visit was the Jerry West statue while I was in Morgantown.
