This location of Los Mariachis is my sister's absolute favorite spot. For her PhD graduation celebration, Los Mariachis was able to seat all 9 of us. Service, meals, and prices were all pretty solid. Our party all seemed satisfied. The restaurant definitely picked up for a dinner rush. Lastly I will say the bathroom could've definitely used some TLC. One stall didn't even have a toilet seat. With some special attention to certain areas, I think this restaurant could be great. read more

Great amount of food for pretty cheap. They have jumbo margaritas for $9. Enough said. We came here on a Sunday at 11:45 am and it was pretty empty. I felt comfortable having four kids under the age of six. I got a skinny margarita, jumbo size and it was pretty good. If you want a flavored margarita it's flavored with syrup so I passed. My husband got a regular jumbo margarita and liked it. I found the mix too sweet for me so I should stick with skinny. We got both kids a kids quesadilla which comes with a taco and fries. They could have shared one order. My husband and I split the carne asada which was delicious. I'm not a fan of their chips so I skipped eating them. I like the decor of this place and it's pretty big. Service was fast and friendly too. I'd definitely come back. read more

The service is so good, I just wish the food matched. The prices are nice. The portions are good. The kids meals were filling. But the food is so meh. They were so kind and accommodating when we arrived. They have chips and salsa right away. The adult soft drinks came in frosted mugs. The kids' drinks were wisely served in cups with lids. The food came out super quick. But the taco meat was the blandest I have ever experienced. The only toppings were lettuce and a bland cheese. I had the chili con queso, which appeared to be plain ground beef in a dense cheese sauce. And the enchilada was just the same meat at the taco with a sauce that at least was as good as supermarket enchilada sauce. Nothing bad. Just BLAND. And then I waited 15 minutes for the check in a restaurant with at least four workers and only 8 other patrons. If you want well-priced food with no taste with mostly good service, this is your spot. read more

Seated quickly. Decor is very pleasing to the eyes. Clean tables, floors and restrooms. Wide cocktail menu. Very large food menu. Lunch specials. Food was out in under 10 minutes. Arrived a little before 9:00 pm, they closed at 10:00. Regardless, Pedro was an excellent waiter, was quick with table service and our food arrived pretty quickly. I have the say that we always order the queso fundido, or queso with chorizo, it was amazing. We always tend to fill up on this before our dinner arrives, trust me none is left when we leave. My husband and I ordered different dishes, they were amazing. In addition to the food and service, the place is immaculate, and you just feel good eating here. Firstly, the food was AMAZING! I had been planning to grab dinner on my way home (place I was planning to go to was closed for a private event) and decided to try Los Mariachis. I called, they quickly got the phone, doubled checked my order, and gave me the ETA for it being done. I drove by and got my order. Smelled delicious all the way home, but oh the taste! It was so good!!! I will definitely be returning ASAP. Everything was exactly the way I ordered (doubled rice instead pf rice & beans), and everything packaged in such a way that nothing spilled on the ride home. I was also offered plastic silverware if I wanted it. The customer service was good! The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was polite, spoke loud enough to be understood, and double-checked that he had my order written up correctly. The lady who rang me up and got my order was also friendly and polite. I was only inside for a minute, but it looked clean, very well lit (more so than the previous restaurant that had been in the building), with cool decor including a statue scene of a mariachi band and a sleek bar area. I like the other Los Mariachis locations in Morgantown, and when this one opened near me, I decided to give it a try for take-out. I placed my order over the phone and was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When I got to the restaurant, they hadn't even put in my order yet. It took them another 30 minutes to be ready. Food was OK, but with this poor service, I'm going to wait a long while before trying them again. read more

Ho-hum at best. Ordered the carne asada. Such a boring dish. The cut of meat was good, just had the same flavor as grilling up ground beef. No marinade, no spice, just go-hum cooked beef. Service was good. Our wait seemed a bit distracted with running the cash register, at least three tables, and the to-go orders. It seemed a bit much, but the waiter did a good job. When asked to come back, I just smiled. What else could I do? I'm not going to waste my money by going back to this place. The Pierpont Mariachis is such a mixed bag. I might give another star, but the last time I went I spent well over 5 minutes staring at my bagged to-go order getting cold on the shelf before a cashier showed up to take my money. Service varies from okay to sloooow. Flavor varies from flavorful to bland. We have ordered two kinds of fajitas, as well as burritos and quesadillas. All were decent, but not spiced like you would expect for Tex-Mex fare. However, the Pollo Adobado is certainly good enough. A diamond in the rough. The chips are on the greasy side, and the last batch tasted like the oil had been scorched. Or maybe the chips themselves had been scorched. Who knows? The salsa is disappointing, though edible. A little onion, cilantro, or something would help immensely. Overall, we will sadly give up on this place. There's better Mexican in the Morgantown area, even if we have to drive further to get to it. read more
