Guacamole tasted fresh and had a great texture with just the right amount T of red onion. My companion and ai ordered one order and the. Quickly got a second order! Only one server who also staffed the counter, but he kept it all moving! I also had three vegetarian tacos. Three soft corn tacos that seemed house made. Excellent choice for street tacos! YUM! The corn tortillas tasted just as I remembered a street vendor making them fresh on the sidewalks of Los Angeles more than 50 years ago. Wow! We were looking for Mexican close to our hotel and this was the closest to us and man we found a hidden gem! The food was fresh, hot and yummy. We tried the Birria, Chimichanga, Nachos and a Chata. Highly recommend! The food was delicious and the flavors seemed very authentic. Portion sizes were great for the price, and I wish we hadn't been on our way out of town and could have taken our leftovers home. This establishment has recently gone under new management- and I can definitely tell. The new menu is seriously overpriced for the quality AND quantity you're served. I ordered the chips and guac for $7 and was served a lousy 4 ounce portion of guac and a small basket of chips. I also ordered the $12 street carne tacos and the meat was so chewy, it was hardly edible. This place really used to be the best hole-in-the-wall spot, and now it seems new management is trying to capitalize off of the college crowd... I'm truly disappointed! read more

Holy moly. THIS IS the Mexican mom and pop Morgantown was waiting for. I myself am Cuban/Spanish decent and the flavors bring me back home. They were excellent. Of course they have their variety of tacos and burritos, but they actually have Mexican arepas and true dishes that are made at home by grandma. They truly brought a family recipe to the public. They quality is great. I got an arepa with Al pastor and it even had pineapple like it should! That, along with a street taco made my feel just full enough to be satisfied. The food was pretty good....but I was at the mercy of what my husband ordered because there's no printed menu and the menu on the wall is placed high enough (I'm short) with print small enough (not awesome vision With glasses) And with screens that transition so some things you better be able to read fast. It was all around fairly frustrating and to be honest I was fairly crabby but the time the food came. I will probably try it again I guess after studying the menu at home first, but come on man- if you're only going to have a menu on your wall at least make it easy to read! read more

Just left this new gem in Morgantown. We got a little bit of a lot of things and they were all excellent. The birriaramen was my favorite thing with the sopes a close second. Delicious! I'll admit that I'm no expert in Mexican cuisine. I did grow up in Texas, but that meant Tex Max for my family. This is not Tex Mex. And it is absolutely delicious. It's not fancy. This is my favorite restaurant while I was n college at WVU. I got the asada fries every single time and loved them so much I even tried making them on my own when they were removed from the menu. This is the best Mexican food in Morgantown and it isn't even close. It's quick service style seating where you order up front and they deliver to your table. Nice casual dining feel with spectacular food. The carne asada is authentic, the seasoning were spot on, and the tortillas were made from scratch.
