More like a creamy sauce that was very thin. Reminded me of cream of crab soup without the crab or old bay seasoning. Both dishes were cooked beautifully, the fish is flaky and light and the risotto were perfect. Our server Cody, who is absolutely wonderful by the way, tried to tempt us with desserts (one of which was a caramel hot lava cake!) but we were so full from dinner that we had to decline.
