I'll start by saying I really wish I could give this place a higher rating because the food was really good. Unfortunately, we only received half of our order and had to share one entree and side. We ordered the B3 Mac and cheese, brisket handheld, house BLT and jalapeño cornbread for delivery. When our order arrived I was handed only the Mac and cheese and brisket sandwich. By the time our order got there the restaurant was already closed so we couldn't even call and get the missing items. Both the items we received were actually really good but we were disappointed that half our order was missing. The sandwich had balsamic onions, Swiss and horsey sauce and was very tasty. The fries that came with the sandwich were seasoned well and also really good. The Mac and cheese was creamy and had a nice amount of bacon. I'd love to give them another shot the next time we're in the area since the food was good. Hopefully we'll get to try the cornbread next time. read more

We go to Morgantown at least every few months for a stay over, so we wanted something different. This place hit the spot for all our taste desires. First off we were greeted and seated in a friendly manner by a gentleman that turned out to serve awesome drinks. Then Abby our server was helpful and awesome. Stopped by for an after graduation lunch. The bacon sampler appetizer and the bourbon smashes were the best. We had a very helpful server that offered great suggestions. The rest of the food was just okay. My burger had nice components but I asked for medium rare and it was cooked well. I was hungry and pressed for time so I just ate it. We went to B3 after a football game and had been told by locals that l it is one of the better places for dinner in Morgantown. Wow, were we disappointed. Our group of six was placed at a large table where we ordered some cocktails and drinks to start our meal. The old fashioned wasn't bad. We had a bacon sampler appetizer and bacon wrapped scallops which were ok but not great. We then ordered our dinners and four of us ordered the macaroni and cheese with brisket for our entree. The dinners were served and looked kind of dry. Biting into them confirmed this as there was no creamy, cheesy macaroni as we were accustomed to. The brisket tasted like fatty boiled meat and had no flavor to compare with any other brisket I had tried in the past, like smoked, corned beef or even Asian brisket. Maybe they wanted to make it taste like navy food from the 18th century. Certainly not up to contemporary standards of any other region of the USA. Stopped here for lunch. Was not very busy surprisingly. Service was prompt and friendly. They appear to have a well stocked bar as the name implies. I had a turkey club with fries. Amazing food for lovers of bacon. Our server, Lisa, was an absolute sweetheart. Our food came out quickly, nice and hot. Everything we ordered was delicious, right down to the sweet tea. There was a really nice selection of bourbon available although I didn't indulge. I'm not a fan of beer, so I can't speak on that. My daughter is 2 and this establishment, though targeted at adults, catered to her in every which way. Bacony goodness at its best. ALWAYS start with a bacon flight! You are super silly if you walk into this place and don't order bacon. It is deliciousness! We ordered the stuffed chicken which was flavorful. I also had the glazed salmon salad with the bacon (of course) vinaigrette. The food and ambience of the restaurant definitely carried the experience; service was spotty despite the restaurant not being busy, and some of the presentation was less than great. The paper menus were gross, a QR code or laminated menu would easily fix this issue, our silverware we first received was dirty, and our glasses had that, "wet dog smell" a glass can get when it isn't completely clean. However, everything we got to eat was fantastic. I'd recommend trying the brisket Mac n Cheese as well as grabbing a beer or two, they have many different lines and had an interesting selection. read more

My wife and I were really looking forward to coming here, and, for the most part, it was really good. The drinks were excellent and the Farmhouse burger was fantastic! However, the Chicken salad was uneatable because of how much salt was in it. A lot of salt doesn't really bother me but this was rough! The server was very understanding and offered to either take the salad off of the bill or have them make a new one, which was very nice. Once that was sorted out, we then went to pay and unfortunately, the restaurant upgraded their gift card system back in April of this year and they couldn't honor the older gift cards. The manager said that there was a post on Facebook that said folks could redeem their old gift cards within 30 days. A kind gesture but for someone who doesn't follow them on facebook, it's quite the bummer. Overall the restaurant was pretty good and the service was nice. While visiting my daughter she took me to this place for dinner. The ambiance is very inviting. There is a large bar area and plenty of seating spread out around. Lots of wood and iron work make up the decor. They have a extensive bourbon menu with a good selection of craft beer. The menu is heavy on the pork/back on theme. I mean you can't go wrong with bacon. We started with fried pickle spears. These were a huge letdown. The batter was greasy with the texture and consistency of a fish batter. The dipping sauce was a Sun Dried Tomato Aioli. It tasted like tarter sauce. Weird. The grease was unforgivable. No excuse for sending something to a table like that. We picked around on it and enjoyed our beers while our main course was being made. They offer salads, handhelds, burgers, meat option entree's, and seafood and pasta. A decent menu with plenty of options. I chose the B3 burger. A burger with pulled pork, bacon, bacon jam, Arugula, tomato, red onion, onion ring, white cheddar, and a fried pickle. Shew. That's a lot. But it's why I chose it. I also ordered it pink. My daughter selected The Mushroom burger with mushrooms, Balsamic onions, arugula, Swiss, and yes bacon. She ordered it well done. Our burgers came and they were huge. I was impressed. Taste however was lacking flavor. And it was over cooked and dry. My burger itself had pulled pork and bacon blended into the beef. A nice alternative to pulling on and flavor enhancer. Oh but there's more. They also piled on pulled pork and bacon. With all that the Patty itself needed some seasoning. It simply was not special. My expectations were high. What was lacking in seasoning was made up with all the adds pilled onto the burger. My daughter said her mushroom burger was okay but dry and flavorless also. The place has potential and they have a good nitch going but need improvements. Add bacon themed wings to the appetizer menu. So much potential there. Summary: good food and drinks, friendly but sub par service. Party of seven to celebrate my daughter's graduation from WVU. We were seated promptly to a nice table up front. Waitress was very cheery and polite. Took our drink and starter orders and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Then it took 20 minutes to get 4 draft beers and an old fashioned. The bacon flight was pretty good, but it actually came out before our drinks. Waters were finished and left empty for a while before they refilled. Burgers were quite good and definitely worth the trip. Not much room on the table with the appetizer dishes still on the table, though. Again the wait staff was a bit slow on the refills. I'd had an empty old fashioned in front of me for almost 10 minutes when I went to the bar to get a beer to have with dinner. That's ok; I know they were busy. Also I was very much looking forward to having a pour from their excellent bourbon selection for dessert. Finally at the end of the main course, the waitress came to clear our places and simply brought the check without asking about dessert or after dinner drinks. Man this spot is on and poppin', the best addition to the Suncrest Towne Centre in a long time!!! Came here for lunch with some amigos, I got the Smoked Turkey Club and my folks both got B3 Pork Sandwich and we were NOT disappointed.
