I'll start by saying I really wish I could give this place a higher rating because the food was really good. Unfortunately, we only received half of our order and had to share one entree and side. We ordered the B3 Mac and cheese, brisket handheld, house BLT and jalapeño cornbread for delivery. When our order arrived I was handed only the Mac and cheese and brisket sandwich. By the time our order got there the restaurant was already closed so we couldn't even call and get the missing items. Both the items we received were actually really good but we were disappointed that half our order was missing. The sandwich had balsamic onions, Swiss and horsey sauce and was very tasty. The fries that came with the sandwich were seasoned well and also really good. The Mac and cheese was creamy and had a nice amount of bacon. I'd love to give them another shot the next time we're in the area since the food was good. Hopefully we'll get to try the cornbread next time. read more

We go to Morgantown at least every few months for a stay over, so we wanted something different. This place hit the spot for all our taste desires. First off we were greeted and seated in a friendly manner by a gentleman that turned out to serve awesome drinks. Then Abby our server was helpful and awesome. Kudos go out to the Chef the Salmon Salad was fantastic. I actually think he caught the Salmon right out of the water it was so great. The drinks were spot on and the decor fit the name. Thank you, to all of the people that made this a great place to come to in Morgantown, WV. read more

Stopped by for an after graduation lunch. The bacon sampler appetizer and the bourbon smashes were the best. We had a very helpful server that offered great suggestions. The rest of the food was just okay. My burger had nice components but I asked for medium rare and it was cooked well. I was hungry and pressed for time so I just ate it. My Mom's steak salad was good (her words). She didn't read the description about french fries and fried onion rings. She said they weren't needed. I took the rings. read more

We went to B3 after a football game and had been told by locals that l it is one of the better places for dinner in Morgantown. Wow, were we disappointed. Our group of six was placed at a large table where we ordered some cocktails and drinks to start our meal. The old fashioned wasn't bad. We had a bacon sampler appetizer and bacon wrapped scallops which were ok but not great. We then ordered our dinners and four of us ordered the macaroni and cheese with brisket for our entree. The dinners were served and looked kind of dry. Biting into them confirmed this as there was no creamy, cheesy macaroni as we were accustomed to. The brisket tasted like fatty boiled meat and had no flavor to compare with any other brisket I had tried in the past, like smoked, corned beef or even Asian brisket. Maybe they wanted to make it taste like navy food from the 18th century. Certainly not up to contemporary standards of any other region of the USA. Thankfully I'll never have a reason to return to Bacon Bourbon and Beer. read more

Stopped here for lunch. Was not very busy surprisingly. Service was prompt and friendly. They appear to have a well stocked bar as the name implies. I had a turkey club with fries. Very good, would definitely get again. I suspect most of their sandwiches are pretty good. Their ranch and blue cheese also very good. The steak salad was pretty good as well. Food prices were reasonable for what you get. I would definitely go back. read more

First time here. The service was good and the food was mostly good but not outstanding. The Scallops wrapped in Bacon appetizer was excellent. The bacon cheese burger was made from good quality ingredients but was over cooked. The pork chops were good as was the Mac and cheese. They had a nice selection of craft beer and cider. read more

Met our son here. We were coming from Kentucky to Pa and he was coming fromPA to WV. I found a place that fit our timing! Lisa was our server, she was great! Friendly, personable and sweet. It was not busy at 2:00 in afternoon. Food was excellent! We were lucky to find this place as we were both traveling. read more

We arrived without reservations ... but WVU stadium was evacuated for weather. Guessing we arrived before everyone else. Great location. Lots of parking. The drink menu recommended the Blueberry Smash for the first timer bourbon drinker. Great choice. Fruity with a kick. Then we went with the bacon wrapped mozzarella. It came out. The cheese was ooey gooey with a thick cut piece of bacon wrapped around it. The white cheddar cheese soup - I only ordered a cup. I should have just kept ordering bowls. It had a small piece of toast with bacon on top floating on the soup. It was cheesy delicious. The BLT and turkey club were large portions. Definitely on the return to list. Best thing we heard - there is a location in Pittsburgh @ PPG Paints arena where TGIF was. read more

Amazing food for lovers of bacon. Our server, Lisa, was an absolute sweetheart. Our food came out quickly, nice and hot. Everything we ordered was delicious, right down to the sweet tea. There was a really nice selection of bourbon available although I didn't indulge. I'm not a fan of beer, so I can't speak on that. The restaurant itself was clean and decorated very well with plenty of bourbon barrels around. Definitely worth a revisit sometime soon. read more

The best part of BBB is not only its nice and chill atmosphere. It also has a wait staff that seem to know anything and everything about their food and drinks! We had bacon-wrapped meatloaf and a black 'n bleu burger. My burger was amazing; my wife's meatloaf was great too! Needless to say, highly recommend attempting to go here for dinner, drinks or both. read more

First time visit and possibly the last for me, local friends and out of town family. The food was good, service was good, but the level of noise inside was a " head banger " rock concert . WTH ? and why did the unoccupied side eating room look like the employee coat closet. ? We had a table of 12 people, and we all watched several groups walk in and walk back out ...not good. Overall, it was a huge letdown. read more

Food was all really solid. If there was a negative, it was that the breakfast potatoes were on the salty side. Service was impeccable!! I expected a bit of a delay from the kitchen since we got there just as they were opening, but everything came out quickly, and our server (I forgot her name) was stellar! We will definitely add this to our places to visit next time in Morgantown. read more

We were in town for the football game. Ended around 3:30. Easy to access this restaurant in traffic. 10/10 would recommend the food and beer. I would come back here if I ever came back to Morgantown! read more

Bacony goodness at its best. ALWAYS start with a bacon flight! You are super silly if you walk into this place and don't order bacon. It is deliciousness! We ordered the stuffed chicken which was flavorful. I also had the glazed salmon salad with the bacon (of course) vinaigrette. This salad had pickled pears which I thought added a unique tartness to the salad. I think they are my new favorite pickled fruit. read more

Bourbon, Bacon, and Beers. Oh my my my. My daughter, my friends, and I came in here unassuming on a Saturday night. My daughter is 2 and this establishment, though targeted at adults, catered to her in every which way. Our fabulous server, Lily, made sure everything was right throughout any hiccups that came her way. We felt pampered, and after taking a bite of that heavenly brisket Mac n Cheese, we set up camp. Every food item we ordered was a hit. Being a traveler in from out of town, I have no bias. This place is incredible. Thank you Lily for an awesome experience! read more

Don't get me wrong... the food was pretty good (club sandwich and fries) , but the beer prices are out of this world! Crazy expensive. A 12 oz beer should NOT cost $10... no matter how good it is. Especially in a small town. Or maybe that's the reason? The only place serving specialty beers? In any case, I gave it a shot. Won't be back. read more

Wasn't expecting this place to be so empty especially with a WVU game about to start but I'll take it. Totally empty so getting seated wasn't a issue and the server was there and wanting something to do! Ordered the pork belly as a appetizer and was definitely impressed but the quality and taste especially from a restaurant in the middle of a college town. Farmhouse burger was great and a lot more than I thought it would be. Don't take my word on it go ahead and order it for yourself lol. WELCOME TO TRIPLE B's Y'ALL Our first visit to Bacon, Bourbon & Beer and I was shocked by the food/presentation contrast. The food and ambience of the restaurant definitely carried the experience; service was spotty despite the restaurant not being busy, and some of the presentation was less than great. The paper menus were gross, a QR code or laminated menu would easily fix this issue, our silverware we first received was dirty, and our glasses had that, "wet dog smell" a glass can get when it isn't completely clean. However, everything we got to eat was fantastic. I'd recommend trying the brisket Mac n Cheese as well as grabbing a beer or two, they have many different lines and had an interesting selection. read more

Went to B3 for a friend's birthday dinner, it was about an hour before close. Our waitress was kind and courteous, no attitude about us being the last in the restaurant. Stopped in for early dinner and a couple drinks. Ordered a burger and mac and cheese to split. Both were fantastic! Best Mac and cheese I think we've had at a restaurant in town, so big points for that. Service was great as well. read more

My wife and I were really looking forward to coming here, and, for the most part, it was really good. The drinks were excellent and the Farmhouse burger was fantastic! However, the Chicken salad was uneatable because of how much salt was in it. A lot of salt doesn't really bother me but this was rough! The server was very understanding and offered to either take the salad off of the bill or have them make a new one, which was very nice. Once that was sorted out, we then went to pay and unfortunately, the restaurant upgraded their gift card system back in April of this year and they couldn't honor the older gift cards. The manager said that there was a post on Facebook that said folks could redeem their old gift cards within 30 days. A kind gesture but for someone who doesn't follow them on facebook, it's quite the bummer. Overall the restaurant was pretty good and the service was nice. I don't care for how they handled the gift card situation though. read more

While visiting my daughter she took me to this place for dinner. The ambiance is very inviting. There is a large bar area and plenty of seating spread out around. Lots of wood and iron work make up the decor. They have a extensive bourbon menu with a good selection of craft beer. The menu is heavy on the pork/back on theme. I mean you can't go wrong with bacon. We started with fried pickle spears. These were a huge letdown. The batter was greasy with the texture and consistency of a fish batter. The dipping sauce was a Sun Dried Tomato Aioli. It tasted like tarter sauce. Weird. The grease was unforgivable. No excuse for sending something to a table like that. We picked around on it and enjoyed our beers while our main course was being made. They offer salads, handhelds, burgers, meat option entree's, and seafood and pasta. A decent menu with plenty of options. I chose the B3 burger. A burger with pulled pork, bacon, bacon jam, Arugula, tomato, red onion, onion ring, white cheddar, and a fried pickle. Shew. That's a lot. But it's why I chose it. I also ordered it pink. My daughter selected The Mushroom burger with mushrooms, Balsamic onions, arugula, Swiss, and yes bacon. She ordered it well done. Our burgers came and they were huge. I was impressed. Taste however was lacking flavor. And it was over cooked and dry. My burger itself had pulled pork and bacon blended into the beef. A nice alternative to pulling on and flavor enhancer. Oh but there's more. They also piled on pulled pork and bacon. With all that the Patty itself needed some seasoning. It simply was not special. My expectations were high. What was lacking in seasoning was made up with all the adds pilled onto the burger. My daughter said her mushroom burger was okay but dry and flavorless also. The place has potential and they have a good nitch going but need improvements. Add bacon themed wings to the appetizer menu. So much potential there. And please add some seasoning to the meat. read more

Summary: good food and drinks, friendly but sub par service. Party of seven to celebrate my daughter's graduation from WVU. We were seated promptly to a nice table up front. Waitress was very cheery and polite. Took our drink and starter orders and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. Then it took 20 minutes to get 4 draft beers and an old fashioned. The bacon flight was pretty good, but it actually came out before our drinks. Waters were finished and left empty for a while before they refilled. Burgers were quite good and definitely worth the trip. Not much room on the table with the appetizer dishes still on the table, though. Again the wait staff was a bit slow on the refills. I'd had an empty old fashioned in front of me for almost 10 minutes when I went to the bar to get a beer to have with dinner. That's ok; I know they were busy. Also I was very much looking forward to having a pour from their excellent bourbon selection for dessert. Finally at the end of the main course, the waitress came to clear our places and simply brought the check without asking about dessert or after dinner drinks. In almost 2 hours the table had 1.5 rounds of drinks and no dessert. read more

We stopped in to check this place out after taking a long drive on a beautiful sunny day. After all, with bacon in the name is has to be good, right? We're so glad we stopped! They have several craft beers on tap that they're constantly rotating and a very nice display of bourbon. The bartenders will help you find a drink that you will love. Paul and Chris were great and made us feel like locals. The menu is designed around BACON and everything is made fresh, in house. We ordered the bacon wrapped fried cheese and the bacon flight. I went for brunch. I appreciated how late brunch ran (until 4) and is able to accommodate late risers. The drinks were great I had a mimosa flight and a Moscow mule. Both were fantastic.
