    Boozy coffee
    Stephanie S.

This place was on my list to try when I came to visit my family. Luckily a family member had already been there and said the food was good. We ordered : two Iced boozy coffee, orange juice, Verde chilaquiles, Cinnamon roll French toast, and Classic Benedict. All the food was good and good portions. Two of us had leftovers. The iced boozy coffee was missing a chocolate rim (although that is an assumption based on another Yelp photo). Only downside was it did take a long time for our order to come out. When we asked the server about our food, she stated the kitchen was backed up because the rush of people that came in at the same time (which I did notice but that was after we were seated and ordered). We ordered 10am and didn't get food until 10:45am. I think the order was put in late but who knows. Overall it was a good breakfast. Just a heads up in case it matters, there is no handicap parking.

Date:9/5/25 Time:11:30-11::45AM This is such a neat little restaurant. Good utilization of space with tables and booths. Moderately busy, but we were seated very quickly. We had a wonderful server who promptly took our drink and food orders. -I had the biscuits and gravy which comes with eggs and hash-browns -Wife had the Perfect Breakfast - 2 eggs, 2 sausage, and pancake. As fyi, you can choose sausage, bacon, or ham for meat and French toast or waffle instead of pancake. -Daughter had Cinnamon roll French toast Have to say the food was excellent. My eggs and hash browns were perfectly cooked. The biscuits and gravy were also really good. Even finished the small amount of cinnamon French toast my daughter couldn't eat (yes, I am a fatty LOL). It was out of this world good. The restaurant decor was a little mixed, but it works very nicely. Great job whoever set this up. Bathrooms were immaculate and well stocked. The manager or owner was very nice and greeted us upon arrival and when leaving. Everything about this place is top notch. If you are looking for a breakfast/brunch place in Meridian do yourself a favor and stop by this lovely restaurant.

Casual brunch spot with lots of natural sunlight and several delicious brunch food and drink options. The customer service was top notch. They serve local foods, whole ingredients and no seed oils. Great prices on the kids menu too. Definitely a place I will regular.

Avocado that is not ripe but still brown and bad. Melon that wasn't cut appropriately for service, eggs that waxy and brown.

The food was bad. Avocado that is not ripe but yet brown and bad. Oxidized and rotting. Melon that wasn't cut appropriately for service, eggs that were waxy and brown from contact with the rancid avocado. I know times are tough, but don't pass it on to the customer by serving bad food. Throw it out and eat the cost of not stocking your kitchen properly. And chef, have some self respect and pride. Are you too busy to cut the melon correctly? If I wanted to cut melon I would have stayed home. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server she initially argued with us and said there is no way to know if an avocado is ripe. But after leaving the table she did return and apologize and take the meal off the check.

My family and I are passing through Meridian, and stopped at this place, let me say that the food looked 100% home made, it was really good, service was fast and excellent, the place is really nice and gives a family restaurant vibe! Would recommend 9/10 total!

Great, quick lunch spot. I was a visitor but there was a group that had a regular table in the side room, so that in itself shows it's good. Service was awesome, 2 younger gals working were patient and attentive. I got an avo toast, which was unique. I got a side of the special pork, which I would recommend as the toast itself isn't very large or filling. Jalapeños were fresh and hot, but flavorful. On the outside it doesn't look great, but it's definitely worth stopping and enjoying.

Had an awesome brunch at the Tipsy Chef Cafe! Came in at 01:15 PM on New Year's Eve and was promptly seated. Seating is plentiful and the ambiance made me feel right at home. Had the Chicken Fried Steak and a Huckleberry Mule for my meal. Both were delicious and worth getting again. It was nice to see the staff address the regulars by name and treat them like family. Great experience overall and will be coming back with friends and family in the future!

I prefer Oaxacan over Tex-Mex. Flavorful, with depth, and leaves you wanting to come back. Service was decent as it was busy. The ambiance is more of a modern restaurant than a tacky Tijuana vomit vest. The dia de los meurtos vibe is pretty cool. Ceviche was fresh and flavorful. While I like a little white fish in it as well, their ceviche was the best I've had since spending time down in the Yucatan. The freshly prepared tortilla chips are crisp and built to scoop. Their regular salsa is very good as well. Personal taste, but I would like a little more roast on the peppers for a deeper flavor. You know, like you get when peppers are directly placed on hot coals to roast. The birria flautas were crispy and the meat was spot on in terms of flavor and perfectly cooked pork. I had a couple bites of the surf and turf tacos - bam! So good. Their home cooked churros with the churro fried ice cream were absolutely perfect. The ice cream coating, I would give 4-stars as the exterior was a bit chewy in texture for me. It was almost as if there oats used to hold it together. Yeah, we'll be back.

My experience with restaurants in this type of setting is that the location is the feature, not the offerings, but it was gorgeous outside... That said, my experience began as I was walking toward the restaurant to meet my friend for a light lunch and a glass of rosé, when a smiling young woman complimented my style. I appreciated that - it made me feel good. It's not often at 63 that I receive notice. I also ran into some friends and stopped to chat, so it was a few minutes before I reached the restaurant and met up with my lunch mate, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the same smiling face behind the counter. I knew we'd have a good time, regardless. We chose to be seated outside. It was "quiet" in the restaurant and we had the attention of both servers. They didn't hover, just paid attention to our needs and answered our questions about their wine, (1/2 price bottles!!), and food. We ordered a bottle of sparkling rose and a Bodo Board to share. The wine arrived, was expertly opened, poured, and settled on ice. We enjoyed a couple of sips before our beautiful and generous board arrived - it had several samplings of meats and cheeses, fruit, and perfectly cooked French Fries!!! My favorite snack with champagne. I was so happy . We sat and visited and nibbled for almost 2 hours. Our glasses were refreshed as needed and that sweet girl, Jordan checked on us often enough that I knew she was paying attention. When it was time to go, there was still quite a bit of food left, and Jordan offered us boxes to tote it home, (which we did). My friend commented about our nice time and that we must repeat it, as we walked to the car. Thank you Jordan! While the offerings were great, you and your teammate were the stars! (I wish we had taken pics, but neither of us touched our phones the whole time we were there)

We did have to have a small wait. I love the fact that they were busy! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a local business thrive! It was a little over 10 minutes of wait time. No problem, we chilled in the car till we got our text to come in. We were sat, got coffee and juice ordered and checked out the menu. We were both hungry so everything looked good. My husband decided on a stack of pancakes with chocolate chips and a side of biscuits and gravy. I got the Big boy omelet with Moe Joe's potatoes. Our server, I believe her name is Kendra, was super sweet! I have served her before when she came in and ate my at family's restaurant. She was fabulous as a guest and fabulous at taking care of us today. I had requested a fresh cup of half and half that wasn't used my multiple guests. I'm still bring careful with my new kidney. With no hesitation, she gladly gave me a fresh cup of half and for my coffee. I appreciate her kindness so much. Food came out and booooyyyyy did everything look amazing! My husband's pancakes were fluffy and had plenty of chocolate chips. The biscuits were covered with gravy. My omelet was massive and was also covered in gravy. I was ready to tear into them potatoes! They were nice and charry. I know this meal is about to hit! I don't think I said a word to my husband for 15 minutes. The food was so good! Nothing important needed to be talked about when the food was doing the talking for us. My omelet was stuffed with green peppers, onions and all the 3 meats that came with it. I love love love the gravy on top! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and so soft in the middle. The potatoes with gravy is top tier! Of course I tried my husband's pancakes.... so fluffy and sweet. The biscuits weren't crazy dense. I love that they were airy. I really had to hold back on the pancakes, I still had a whole omelet to work on. But them pancakes were the business! It's sad that this joint is clear across town. I would eat here every week if I could. Everything we had today was so good! Everything I had last time was good! The service is fantastic. I adore Memory and Peyton. Now, if you've read my previous review, youd know how much i absolutely LOVE their pancakes - and I've made it my go-to spot for breakfast because of it. Well, either they changed the recipe or someone messed up this batch. It was nice and fluffy, but bland. That signature deliciously buttery flavor was nowhere to be found.
