We arrived about an hour before they were closing, but they served us. We were greeted by some very nice people very friendly and very happy to service. The restaurant was clean and there's street parking which was hard to find. The ambience inside was typical Taiwan, very colorful umbrellas on the ceiling and bright colors here and there. The food was OK. I'm giving them four stars for the cleanliness and friendliness speed of service most of all. If I had to rate just the food, I would have to give them three stars. While the food was good it was just OK. Good. The pad Thai was overly sweet and the drunken noodles was OK. That's about the best I can say is just OK. The spring rolls were excellent, but it was just a salad wrapped in the clear roll. There was nothing else in it but salad material. The egg rolls were very small very hard and crunchy with very little in the center. I like Thai food, but I know of better places that serve better tasting more authentic Thai food. I would definitely give them a try because their food is presentable and a bit tasty and the amount was fine. But the price was extremely high for the amount of food that we were given. For our four meals and appetizers plus tip and a tai chi tea. It was close to $160. It was probably about $30 a person and the appetizers and the tea I believe was what made it more expensive. You don't get any refills on your drinks unless it's water. Like I said, I would give them a try but be prepared to spend a lot of money. read more

They have a small bar area, plenty of booths, and tables. We were served right away and never had to flag down our waitress, she was very good. The pot stickers were crisp and delicious. My wife really enjoyed her rice dish. The star was my noodle dish, wow it was good. This was something I could eat often. We were so happy to find this gem in such a small town. I found this lovely Thai restaurant in the vegan foods desert that is north central Florida while my Boy Scout son was at camp shands. The summer rolls were delicious, and the pumpkin curry was delightful , though I've had better tofu and there weren't spice choices. When I spend the weekend in Bradford County, the food options can be limited. However limited those options are, you can find some good ones. Tip Thai Cuisine is one of those places. Solid Thai food in downtown Starke. I got a simple shrimp Pad Thai. It was good. Came out hot, noodles cooked well. Shrimp cooked perfect. It was one of the sweeter pad Thai dishes I've had, but still really good. I also got some Mango Sticky Rice for dessert and this was fantastic. The mango was a bit on the tart side, probably still a bit underripe, but paired with that super sweet rice and coconut milk, it was a perfect bite. The tart against the sweet was great. So if you live, work, or go to Starke often and you're looking for good Thai food, Tip Thai a good place to stop. read more

We stopped here on the way south through Florida, and were so glad we did. They have the cutest living plant cuttings in bottles and the friendliest staff. The food had so much flavor and character and really reminds me of Thai places in California with the fresh ingredients and bold flavors. There are so many Thai restaurants that are bland in Florida. We tried Tip Thai for the first time this Friday evening. They were not busy and we were seated immediately, server was very sweet & friendly! Bonus! :) We ordered two noodle dishes- Druken Noodles w shrimp (which had a little bit of spice) & tasted great & Pad See Ew with chicken which was not spicy at all and also tasted very good. A great little Thai place in downtown Starke. We'd heard great things about this place, but hadn't tried it yet. Should have made a better effort, as it was really good. Nearly empty when we arrived around 6:30 pm on a Sunday evening, so we were seated right away. Ordered chicken satay for an app and it came out quickly and fresh. The peanut sauce was a little runny, but was still delicious. I went for the Chicken Pad See Eew, and Mama chose the Chicken Pad Thai. Both entrees came out hot and fresh, and looked amazing. Looks were not deceiving, either. Both tasted great to begin with, but both a little low on the spice scale. Our server brought over a little rack of jars with a spice blend in one that pepped both dishes right up. There was another jar with what I think was chili oil, and one described as "sour". Didn't need either. Looked at my receipt after dinner, and it turns out our server was also one of the owners. Nice to see that she cares that much about the place. Traveling through town and saw this restaurant posted on Yelp with great reviews. The restaurant was nearly empty when i arrived for a late lunch, but they were doing a brisk take out business. My food came out quickly, service was outstanding and i was not hurried or rushed for my party of "one". But you want to know about the food; Crab puff pastry - really sensational, freshly prepared and brimming with flavor. Loved the light sweet chili sauce served with it for dipping, really an outstanding dish. Pad Ew See with Chicken - another solid choice, but not quite as flavorful as the crab puff. I found it needed a little spice and my waitress brought out some chili oil that was the perfect enhancement. Note, I ordered it mild. Overall, I look forward to my next trip through town and trying more of the menu. read more

What a gem in a surprising place. Starke has never been known for it's cuisine, to be sure, but this Thai but the spot for lunch. I can't vouch for authenticity but the good was good and hot, the medium heat was a true medium in my opinion as well. The Pumpkin Curry was pretty awesome. The portion size was just right, and the service was pretty good as well. The place is bigger in the inside (is it the TARDIS?!?), and the lunch crowd was nearly non-existent, but I'm not complaining as that just meant I had a shorter wait than might be normal. There was one hostess who was also waiting tables - ummm sue that could get crazy if it got very busy. There was also a bartender who looked lonely. I would definitely go back for the food. I'm curious what service is like when it gets busy. All in all I will be back next time I'm in town. I'll consider upgrading my review then. Can't give 5 stars right out the gate - gotta earn that start! read more

The food from this place is so good but I just wish the food portions were better for the prices.

Starke is lucky to have such a good Thai restaurant, their summer and winter rolls are good other than you have to ask for and pay extra for shrimp to be added. Most all other restaurants they automatically come with shrimp and pork in them. Although all their food is wonderful, I often get the crab fried rice, made with real blue crab meat, just delish. They also have great pad Thai which is a traditional Thai dish. The staff is friendly and service is great. read more

We started with the veggie pot stickers. We loved oir dishes & looking forward to teying the pumpkin curry on oir next stop. The hubs is a vegetarian & there were a lot of choices for him. New place to eat in Starke! Trying this out and it is very delicious! The place is quite simple and clean. Started with the Papaya Salad, which was delicious. Very spicy! Then had the Thom Kha, which had cabbage. Never had it with, but it was very tasty. Entree was Pad Thai. Very, very, very delicious! My wife had the Pineapple Curry with Chicken and loved it. Definitely a place that will be a part of our date night. And now a great place to bring out-of-towners. And we won't need to go too far for good Thai food! Hate to do this, but service has gone down a lot recently. Inattentive staff. Adding charges for things not ordered. Staff taking pictures of patrons without permission.
