Really good chicken. Nothing much else to say. Enjoyed the actual fried chicken better than the gizzards. The "fixins" were fine. Tried fritters for the first time, that's a southern thing lol. This place was really busy. going inside was better than the ridiculously crowded drive-thru. Only thing is someone needs to be on table cleaning duty. I wanted to sit down and enjoy my chicken gizzerds since they are better fresh, but many of the tables had chicken crumbs and weren't wiped down even tho there was nobody eating inside... Fryer's is the best fried chicken breading I have ever had. The crusty exterior shatters with each crunchy bite. We sat inside and enjoyed an 8 piece lunch special with green beans and slaw. The beans were a little soggy and over cooked. The slaw was pretty good actually even though it looked over mayonnaised. We could not eat all the chicken even though we wanted to, it was so delicious. We took out box to go thinking we would reheat it, which is a fools errand. Let me start out with the fact that I am 53 years old and I was raised in New Jersey. The reason I say that is because I am one of those people, like it or not that doesn't believe you should tip someone for handing something over-the-counter to you. If I drive to pick up my own food, or I walk into a fast food restaurant and order something at the counter, I do not believe a tip is deserved, however, when I went to this place, something told me that I should tip, so I did, and I was 100% right. I ordered a small, yes I said small, chicken, tenders, a large fry and a large Pepsi. It came out to be around $14.00. $13 and some change and I added a dollar tip. The girl at the window who greeted me was super sweet. The reason I emphasized "Small is coming". Their version of a small chicken tenders was seven gigantic chicken tenders. Their version of a large fries was huge literally huge! One of the biggest bags of fries I have seen. The only other place that I know of that hands out this many fries is Five Guys Burgers. I asked for sweet barbecue sauce and a Pepsi. When I got to the window the first thing the girl did was hand me the soda with a straw, an actual plastic straw, not that paper garbage. I don't know if you know but where I live that's pretty freaking impossible to get. I paid for the food. I drove about two blocks down the street and the smell was just screaming eat me now. So I pulled over and I took my first bite of the chicken tender without any sauce on it and it was amazing. Then I opened up the sweet barbecue sauce and dipped the tender inside, took it out, put it in my mouth and again, Oh My God! With or without sauce these tenders are delicious. I have to say I am not a connoisseur or expert, but their fries are also amazing! They were delicious, a tad greasy, but hell you know what, I don't care! The taste voids the greasiness. If you are looking for some good fast food, chicken tenders or chicken and you like french fries as much as I do you have got to go to this place!! When we called to complain, they told us that they would give us a free thigh and leg for compensation. Didn't even offer to give us our money back.
