OK... I have eaten a lot of wings in my time. This Wingstop is in the former location of Buddha Belly, which I sorely miss because of the amazing food that they produced... but enough with the lamentations... Service is fine, and the place is clean, but you will be waiting for your wings while they are cooked fresh. This is not a detractor... just a point to be put out there. They cook their wings fresh to order, so you will have to wait. The sauces that I got were fine as well... standard buffalo sauce was at the appropriate heat level, and I also tried the Hawaiian because I was curious... too sweet and stick for me, but I am not going to complain since the sign did indicate that it wasn't spicy at all. Now I know better. Again... not a detractor. They did manage to goof on my order, and included an order of fries. The way that the tray was situated when they handed it all to me was that the split order of wings (10 wings, five of each flavor) were stacked on top of each other so I couldn't see the second set of wings, and then there was this order of fries on the tray that wasn't what I had ordered. When I notified the guy at the counter of this, he looked at it then showed me that the other half of my wings were under the first half, then pulled the fries off of the tray while I was still holding the tray. Kind of rude, that... in my book as a business, when you make a small mistake like this in favor of the customer, you let it slide. However, that is not the reason I have given two stars. Well, it is a part of the reason, but not a huge factor. The real reason is that the wings are simply small. I got ten wings with two different sauces for the same price that I could get twenty wings from Publix at the same heat level, and the wings would have significantly more meat on them. It takes a little longer to get your order, because everything is cooked to order and not sitting under a heat lamp. We have been loyal customers of Wingstop for several years. We initially started with the one on 20th Ave but after this one opened on 16th we started purchasing from it. After the horrible and unacceptable experience we had last Saturday, we will not return to the 16th street store. I placed our order online for in store pickup thinking it would be more convenient but it was everything but!! My son went to pick the order up and waited in line over 45 minutes. When he got home with the food, NONE of the sides, desserts, or sauces were in the bags!! I sent him back and called the store, waited on hold for over 45 minutes, finally spoke to "Q" who informed me that they were very short of help, he apologized and promised to correct the order. My son called me from the store and said he was back in line for another 45 minutes ONLY to be given some COLD fries and an order of veggie sticks!! This was NOT EVERYTHING we'd ordered and PAID for. My son went back for a 3ed time, and I called again. I was on hold OVER an hour and my son was back in line again!! We finally just gave up, called it a loss and have decided we won't give this Wingstop location another penny of our hard earned money. $62.00 later and still never got what we paid for, meal was incomplete, food was cold, experience was HORRIBLE!!
