But now I have finally had the opportunity, and it was definitely worth it! Typically parked next to the old Hollander's Hydraulics building, this taco stand has been operating in the parking lot for the past month, and appears to be doing quite well. They now have their own porta-potty, mostly for themselves but I would assume guests would be able to use it as well if needed. Access from both sides of the road is easy enough as well as there is a cross-over of 441 right at the entrance to the parking lot. Their menu has all the regular things you would expect with a variety of meats... tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and tostadas. I went with an order of tacos and a burrito. Now, I have found that tacos have become a bit over-hyped, and therefore expensive for what you get. This was the case as well... while the tacos are good, I just found them to be a bit pricey for what you get. You definitely get a better bang for the buck when it comes to the burrito, and I was quite happy with it. When it comes to ambiance, well... it is a taco truck on the side of the road. There is plenty of parking, but nowhere to sit, so this is purely a grab and go kind of place for the time being. Perhaps as they become more established in the location they will have a chance to put out some picnic tables or something so people can sit outside and eat their meals. I will be returning when the timing is right, as it is on the way home for me!

I just think they don't try hard enough, the people working there perhaps are not properly trained, paid or it just comes all the way from the top. I went there to give them a second chance since I had previously tried them about a year ago and I thought the food was not good back then, but maybe since they have been open long enough, maybe it was that one thing I had. Well I was wrong, I ordered just some appetizers, not even a full meal or anything and they took almost an hour to bring it out!! I didn't want to complaint so I just took my food to go and left, but when I got home the mandocas I ordered were terrible, tasted like they just reheated them and didn't even have cheese or nata which is what they should come with, or how they are served in any Venezuelan place you go to. On top of that, I had asked for cilantro sauce for the tequeños, they said it was in the bag, and when I got home they just put garlic sauce in there!! I didn't even eat, what a waste of money and energy to go there. Terrible experience, I don't recommend the headache to anyone, it's just not worthy. Unfortunately.

I can say that, while it wasn't quite Tim's Thai, it was definitely better than Billy Bobz! (FYI the owner of Tim's retired, which is why it shut down... sad that it went away, but I understand) The inside hasn't really changed much in terms of layout. There is seating in the front area for those that want to sit and eat in-house, and then the kitchen is in back. Orders are done as a counter-service with both a digital menu and a laminated menu at the counter. Sadly the first two choices that I wanted to order were not available, and now that I look at the menu online I don't even see them, so perhaps with the initial couple of months under their belt they are refining their menu and have taken off the things that I actually wanted to try... sad, but it happens. The girl working the counter was nice enough and helped me out figuring out something that was in stock What I did get was the chicken curry, which was supposed to come with black-eyed peas... not to my liking, but they were able to substitute it out with the mac and cheese. There was also a small side of cabbage that came with it, and I thoroughly enjoyed that. The curry was good, not at all spicy and I didn't see anything around that I could have used to kick the heat up, which was sad. The mac and cheese was alright, but I think it may have separated a bit... there was a light grittiness to the texture. Tasted fine though. Not a bad place... I think there are still some growing pains to deal with. While I was there, no one else came in to sit down (this was during lunch). There were a number of folks coming in to pick up orders, mostly delivery drivers and the like.

Looking quickly, I decided on the honey sriracha with fries. I leaned my bike against one of the two big tables in front of the window, and the lady called a man up to the window who was waiting in his car. I was happily surprised, when my wings came out faster than I thought they would. I needed a good meal before I headed to work. I found a shady spot and opened up my dinner. The wings were flavorful (not too hot) and had a unique taste to them, not just the same generic flavors you get at any generic wing spot! They wings seemed a bit small, at first, but when I bit down on the hot, spicy, sweet chicken, I could see that they were very meaty! The fries were amazing! Crispy on the outside and the flavor was amazing! It's worth going here just to get some fries!! Dipoing both wings and fries in the ranch dressing is recommended! They have more food than just wings, and I will definitely be back!
