Pretty good could be better kind of dingy looking. It's a change of pace. Also try other one half block down the street.

Curries and pad Thai is the usual lunch time fare - they do not offer a dinner service and their main clientele are the personnel from Moody AFB.

Food 5/5 Service 4.5/5…read moreAmbiance 4/5 One of the last things I expected when visiting Valdosta was a Vietnamese restaurant - but this might have been the best surprise I could ask for. Stone Pho is a relatively new establishment, with the typical no-frills table setup of a Vietnamese restaurant plus a little extra modernization on the walls. Their menu isn't super big either - which also can be a good thing if the quality of each dish is better as a result. Oh boy, they didn't disappoint at all. The Stone Pho Special was everything I wanted it to be and more - the broth was incredibly flavorful, even without hoisin sauce, the meats were all great quality, and who doesn't like a short rib in the bowl? It was incredible to say the least - and I can't recommend this place enough. I'll happily be coming back the next time I'm in Valdosta.

The staff is always friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the pho is consistently delicious. I also recommend the fried shrimp appetizer--it's one of my favorites. The restaurant itself isn't the cutest or trendiest place in town, and the bathrooms could use a little TLC, but I come here for the food, and it never disappoints. I've tried the boba tea as well. It's decent, though it tastes like it may use powdered flavors. This is one area where the competition has an edge--they offer better (fresh)teas and a more variety , very aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. That said, when it comes to pho, Stone Pho wins for me every time. The flavor & service keeps me coming back. The staff is super nice.

That's not a menu, that's a United Nations meeting. I was fully expecting confusion, chaos, and at least one bad life decision. I was wrong. This place is the real deal. Let's start with the sushi. I ordered the Monster Roll, and honestly, I'd order it again tomorrow without hesitation. Fresh, creative, and actually balanced. Not one of those rolls drowning in sauce trying to cover up a bad situation. This one shows up, does its job, and leaves you thinking about it later. Then came the Chicken Panang Curry. First bite? Lights out. Like, pause mid-conversation and reevaluate your expectations kind of good. Rich, creamy, just the right kick. Now, did every bite hit that same peak? Not quite. It settled into just "really, really good" instead of "life-changing," which is still a win. If I had one gripe, the chicken leaned a little overcooked. But the vegetables were perfect and that sauce absolutely carried the dish. Now the atmosphere... this is where things take a turn. It feels like a sports bar that decided one day it wanted to travel the world. TVs going, energy up, and somehow you're sitting there eating curry and sushi like this is completely normal. It shouldn't work. But it does. And shoutout to my server, Woody. At least that's what the receipt says, and I'm rolling with it. She was fun, efficient, and locked in the whole time. I came in expecting a mess. I left planning my next order. Five stars.
